Pakistan's BEST Burger?! Street Food in Islamabad + CRAZY KEBABS at Amazing AFGHANI BBQ!!

For our last day in Islamabad, we are showing you some of the BEST non-traditional cuisine Pakistan has to offer. Islamabad is an international city, where people from around the world live and work. That being said, your options for dining reflect modern, global cuisine.
We had breakfast at Burning Brownie, one of the few places in Pakistan to find amazing brewed coffee and western sweets. For drinks we ordered latte, flat white and a macchiato. They were perfect! For treats we ordered their Caramel Crunch cake, Biscoff cake and their Fudge cake! Their cakes were fantastic as well as their funky “50s era diner” atmosphere.
It was time for lunch, and we decided we wanted a juicy, charcoal grilled burger!!! We went to Howdy Islamabad for an American style lunch. The owners were incredibly friendly and gave us an amazing welcome. They wanted us to try quite a few items on the menu, so we tried their starters, milkshakes and more even before the burgers arrived at the table. We tried their signature burger “Son of a Bun” along with some of their top burgers: We also tried some of their desserts. Everything was very high quality and super delicious!
In the evening, we went to a restaurant well known for their Afghani food, New Kabul Restaurant. All of the food is made fresh to order, right before your eyes! We ordered Afghani Kebabs (minced meat), Afghani Tikka (meat chunks), Kabuli Pulao (steamed rice with carrots, raisins and meat) and Mutton Karahi. This restaurant was MEAT HEAVEN!!!
For our final stop of the day and our last stop in Islamabad with our friend Sulmeen, we visited Tandoori Junction for their famous tandoor chai. What makes this chai special is that clay cups are super heated in the tandoor, and the chai cooks inside the cup instead of a pot. Not only does it enhance the flavour of the chai, it’s awesome to watch the preparation! Thank you Sulmeen for showing us your beautiful city!

Why should Islamabad be any different to any other capital in the world, providing a diverse and international food to its guests. Very well done, I do like the way they do a nice cup of tea.
Because Islamabad is unlike anywhere else in Pakistan. So for someone who hasn’t visited Islamabad and only visited other cities, it would be natural to think Islamabad would be like them. But even locals say being in Islamabad feels like you’re not even in Pakistan anymore
@@khawajh you do realize westernization of Pakistan started from Karachi, the first burger joint opened in Karachi. The first pizza parlour... Then in the 60s and 70s when Karachi was the capital, it was influenced a lot by western culture.
Fun fact : People of Islamabad are called Burgers across Pakistan
it's not that western dishes are only served in Islamabad they are also served in Karachi , basically, you can get like anything in Karachi xd

Chai is the epitome of every Pakistani household. We can’t function without it lol . They invented this newer variant just for aesthetics and some added flavor
Chai is in the Culture. and after a meal or most importantly after a heavy meal like they had Chai do the job what cold drinks do. as simple as that.
The red hot claypots dont actually add the flavour. It's the boiling tea that spills out and burns just about right which gives it a good armoma.
modern food in Pakistan is also impressive though

I do recall being in Islamabad in 1993 (my 2nd and last visit there) and I went to a Pizza Parlour there in Blue Area which I was happy about because at that time pizza wasn't popular and I was craving for it after eating too many desi snacks and curries. And the pizza was very nice

It was probably the Rahat Baker's Pizza it's still considered one of the best (the name was changed to Tehzeeb due to a lawsuit by an older bakery)

Its pretty crazy that food in Pak has a lot in common with stuff found in the northern parts of India. They both look really spicy for sure! Kinda makes me hungry watchin these vids right now.
Pakistani food is quite much less spicy than Indian
Indian use too much spices.
They don't keep natural taste of food.
Just you feel spices taste in Indian food

Chilos in Glasgow serves the worlds best angus beef burger and that’s me saying a Pakistani living in Scotland, their burger costs you £10.00 just the burger on its own but it’s worth every penny. No words can explain their burgers they are the top notch, I personally love desi food but when it comes to burgers nothing on earth can beat Angus beef burgers at chilos in Glasgow city.

The best burgers in Islamabad are actually at a place called Cafe Rustic which is in Sector E-7. Try that if you get a chance
All dairy , Fruits, Veggies and meats are fresh from the farms here in India,Pakistan and rest of Asia, not like North America 6 months in the freezer. No constipation and Monday blues here.
