Like a big unashamed overgrown teen , l lined up to meet Jessica at our local mall. I told her how much l liked a song from her movie and true to form she sang it for and with me . Best yet was when l requested a cheek kiss. No problem , Jess happily planted her kiss on my cheek which the photographer caught . The 2 photos now hang proudly on my wall .. Jess is Australia's best kept treasure ... 😊

Jessica also acts. A few years ago she was in a movie called “The Sapphires”. It’s based on a true story about 4 indigenous girls who go to Vietnam to sing for the troops during the Vietnam War. It’s a brilliant movie and the soundtrack is one of my favourites.

Yep! Great movie and great cast - Jessica has held her own as a great talent- she coped with bs when she started off on a talent show that I can't remember the name of, but she held her ground and came back to show she was a bigger survivor than those judges - WTG girl 👍🏿❤️🇦🇺

This Australian singer/songwriter was runner up on Australian Idol in 2006 and has gone on to successful albums and acting as well. This was a very personal song and from her heart.
It's worth noting that she recorded this in one continuous take and also the video was shot in one continuous take. I love the raw emotion.
It is worth noting although you basically said the same thing twice. I think you mean that it was shot in one continuous take (which says it all anyway) and the video showed the take with no cuts. It's well done and ads to the intensity of her performance.
She could have done 10 takes of the whole song and if they cut between them it wouldn't be worth noting.

I voted for her when she was on Australian idol. Even from her audition she was amazingggg, and she was so young
Her mother is Aboriginal and her father is Indonesian. Jessica has so much talent which I feel is wasted in Australia as she rarely gets the recognition she deserves at times. She also wrote all the songs for her current album Hilda (dedicated to her grandmother). She never forgets her heritage and is a very grounded woman.
Jessica is very much appreciated and loved in Australia! She won't get chewed up and spat out here like she does in other countries!

Nice song. Jessica Mouboy is a lovely singer and seems like a thoroughly decent human being.
Your video editing falls short in a few areas. The subscribe icon over the music video is annoying. Your intro is much louder than your speaking (there are youtube tutorials on how to normalize the audio) and the audio is out of sync with the music video.
Your video quality seems better than many of these reaction type videos and these are all easy fixes.
