Blunt - Monsters Vandross - Dance With My Father George M - Father Figure Cat Stevens - Father and Son And a host of others. I'm a fan of Allen and think he has the best male voice on the planet, alongside Chris Stapleton, but his songs and perfomances don't have that gut wrenching depth to set his star on fire. He can't help it though, he is just a happy dude with happy songs. Which is still cool. If this was 2001 he would have taken off like a rocket.

I grew up without both but had a roof over my head, was told if I wanted my education to get up on my own at the age of 7, I did and graduated, all by choice, now I have 5 and teach at the school and with my children 24/7 Sometimes it’s tough, but we just gotta keep going, school to sports, basketball and soccer right now then back to hockey, so tiring but I never had support to join sports teams, so I give my children my all..
I have a 7 year old son and a 17 year old daughter who just graduated. My daughter was my best friend but the past couple years she has emotionally distanced herself from me. I hope what people say is true and it’s only a phase. If she doesn’t circle back before my son hits that same phase I’m gonna be lost in this world. I’ll be here waiting though.
Soon to be 18yr old daughter did the same a few years ago with me. I'm still waiting and still hoping I get to just sit and talk with her again. My son is 6 and a very different kid. I miss her. I never stop worrying or waiting or just wanting to help. Hang in there man.

I have a 7 year old son and a 17 year old daughter who just graduated. My daughter was my best friend but the past couple years she has emotionally distanced herself from me. I hope what people say is true and it’s only a phase. If she doesn’t circle back before my son hits that same phase I’m gonna be lost in this world. I’ll be here waiting though.

What advice would you give a father now that you experienced and learned from this?
Soon to be 18yr old daughter did the same a few years ago with me. I'm still waiting and still hoping I get to just sit and talk with her again. My son is 6 and a very different kid.
I miss her. I never stop worrying or waiting or just wanting to help.
