I used to collect all kinds of stuff when I was younger but now I'm older I'm in the process of getting rid of it all. I just need less clutter and less dusting.😊
Everything is amazing! It's ok reading a book on line. But there's nothing can beat picking a book up,feeling it,smelling it and reading it curled up on the sofa.
*DREAM PICKING‼️🙉💜* *My FAVORITE ITEMS ARE THE OLD SPICE TINS❣️❣️❣️ Next, the coal scuttle and third, the INSULATORS - ESPECIALLY THE WHITE ONES❣️‼️❣️🤍🤎 CAN'T WAIT FOR PART 2‼️*
I could spend hours in that store just looking and bringing back some memories! Im 68 and we were on poor side in Southern california so lots in our house was from thrift stores plus that age I was just on edge of what you all think are vintage was my life. We ALL had those ice trays. I loved thrift stores then. Its funny to think I supplemented my sewing hobby at a young age in late 60s, early 70s with 1950s, even some 20s, 40s beautiful dresses. When I made my mini skirts in high school even my female teachers said where did you get that skirt. I went back in time. Funny 50s was only a decade old to my life. Its equally strange when my daughters boyfriend said I wear retro and I said on the 50s or 60s. He looked at me and said no, 80s and 90s! Ha! I guess im vintage now!
Wow!!! What an amazing and exciting opportunity to venture through that treasure trove!! Omg… I’m anxious to see upstairs!! Thank you for sharing it with us 🙏🏽💕👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I’m excited!!
Those excellent metals hanging to pieces items you found could be an interesting soap dish hanging from a fuck any restroom or kitchen. Love this episode!
This place is amazing. It would take me DAYS to get through this entire shop! ❤❤❤ So excited for you and jealous! Thank you for sharing this adventure!
I loved admiring the ladies hats, the older ones had such personality! I liked the insulators and the scuttle bucket, I can imagine it with wild flowers in the Spring, Autumn with wheat stems and twigs even some with pine cones
This store; with all this stuff, reminds me of my great aunt Joe & Mary's store they had in California. The stuff, tin ceiling, cubbies of whatever, etc. They moved in the late 70's to a new location. It was wild. Absolutely, NOTHING could be thrown away. Thanks for the memories boost. 😊
Going thru that door was a step back in time! The ceiling tin, the shoes and the purse were my fav but I could literally move into a place like that and gussy it up some and be thrilled 😍
OMG Julie😮! I think I wouldn't be able to control myself there with all those fabulous things! Thanks for sharing this amazing thrifting journey with us today!❤
“Snuff jars” not sniffers. Lol! That was funny. The wooden butter molds are the best. I would love the round one if the handle is with it. That place is a gold mine.
I love those insulators!! The smaller ones, I wonder if you could put a cork or even small piece of wood in it and then drill a tiny hole for bottle trees for Christmas decor! ❤
The scales are like what Cracker Barrel used to have for their guess the weight of the cheese, and if you were close enough you won the block of cheese!
My mouth is watering… everything you touched is what I love. We have all kinds of insulators love those! And the film canisters. I collect vintage camera stuff! Wished I lived there…
The hook and ring thing could go over a rod of some kind that was hung into a removable type curtain rod where you could access it to slide them on and off. Hang by the wider metal end that would have the ring end hanging side to side. Could then hang anything from that, macrame something. I can even picture outside, hung across a rod to then add a decorative or needed privacy curtain to add interest to a porch, cabana etc. Both my kids would love the camera section. Their careers are in film and photography so they tend to collect vintage items in that area.
Oh my, what a treasure! Where is this located?? The thing I like most is the building itself! The floors are gorgeous and the entry to go upstairs is awesome. They don’t make wood floors this pretty anymore! Everything is just breathtaking! Thanks so much for sharing with us!!!
So glad u popped up in my feed. I have been enjoying your channel so Kuching. Trying to watch your blogs but am never going to be able to catch up. Lol so many cool things.
MY FAVORITE???? I’m still trying to catch my breath 😲😲😲😲😲😲 OH MY GOSH!!!! It is heaven ! Probably that MARVELOUS round piece of wood at the beginning is my favorite. Those rusty “Clip & Rings” pieces of metal that you wanted ideas for, I would use the new cord for lights that are cloth to look old , I would wrap it around that center piece a couple of time and hang an Addison bulb down from it…. use a couple for an industrial vibe. Oh those brown jars you called sniffer or something…love ! I can’t wait for PART 2 😁
The old white coffee pot. My grandma had something just like that. She sat it on the windowsill. Could still be there. My Aunt lives there now. It even had/has? the red handle.
I used to collect all kinds of stuff when I was younger but now I'm older I'm in the process of getting rid of it all. I just need less clutter and less dusting.😊
I would love to get some of your collection and the price you're saling it for.

AMAZZZZING store. You must have been in there for hours. Can’t wait to see your entire haul. Love your commentary Julie.
Hi Julie, awesome store.. you can hang them on a hook in your kitchen and drape a towel through it!

New here
Yes, there is definitely something special about that little broken mirror.
Place a rolled up towel in the rusty item that looked like a scale. Could be for bathroom or kitchen.
Thought the same thing!

That store is full of history. That’s why history doesn’t need to be erased or changed.

That teapot at the beginning of your video is just like the one we got for our wedding in 1985
Those black rusy things could hold a curtian rod. Even outside with curtians on a porch.
That place is mind blowing overload!

I would have such a hard time choosing things there! There are SO MANY things I would want. Good thing my wallet would keep me limited.😂
Those rusty rings would make cool wine bottle holders if they are big enough.
