As a kid I only had three or so random games, I played so much out of Crash 3 that I ran into both the secret levels and secret area by accident, these days I'd never just stop and replay levels that much, such a heavy nostalgia hit
It's always crazy to look back on games like that! I had a recent experience of something similar as I'm playing AC2 and as I'm playing realised I did so many things when I 100% the game back at release that just weren't necessary at all 😂
I’m currently seeing if I can manage to platinum Crash 1 (normally I don’t bother with its relics). Native Fortress’s gold time is hard work and there’s plenty more to come. Fingers crossed!
Respect for going through with it and 100% these games. If I ever get to play the crash trilogy, then I'll go in with the knowledge that I won't 100% them. And I think it was a good choice to stop with Story Ascent and not torture yourself with it.
@@MayorHairBear Ctr is lot of fun, but the plat was something I thought that I would never get. Well I did it finally last year. Hard mode is not that bad after all and most of the N.Trophy time trials came easy, but oh man some of the Oxide trials were so Hard. Dragon Mines is the absolute worse.. I still need to do Stormy Ascent on Crash 1 and then most of the Crash 4 to get all Crash trophies.

@@MayorHairBear Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, Highrise Heroes Word Challenge, Bejeweled 3, and realMyst: Masterpiece Edition. I guess there were 4 others! Highrise Heroes was another one I was proud of. But Crash is leagues above all of those in terms of how much time and energy I dedicated to it, and how difficult it ended up being.
As someone who only has 2 perfect relics, 7 gems, 24 n. verted gems, 1 flashback tape, 1 platinum flashback relic, and all 38 platinum relics remaining, trust me it's realy difficult
@MayorHairBear you should go for stormy ascent, learn all parts of the level, for example, get a checkpoint towards the end and just replay the end of the level to learn it. Provably took me at least 6 hours but it's doable once you know the level inside out.
@@MayorHairBear I'd argue its one of the best levels out of the whole trilogy. Especially since its one of the only levels in Crash 3 to utilize all the power ups. Maybe one day you can check it out. Anyways great video.
Wow I basically had the same journey, played it as kid, played it again on 2017, and platinum last year. I love the trilogy, it is just built perfectly imo... Gave up on Crash 4 platinum though, the amount of requirements is ridiculous, and way tougher than the trilogy

Yakuza I'd like to tackle at some point, Dragon ball fighterz is definitely a potential video but Street Fighter probably not. Just not a big SF fan but other fighting games absolutely, maybe some Marvel v Capcom or Guilty Gear!

Crash nitro cart was one of my favourite platinum because I love that game still honourable track mentions dragon mines, sewer speedway,tiny temple I did all this with drift settings with a stick drift.
First off, the title of how Platinum’d The Crash Bandicoot TRILOGY And It Drove you N. SANE kind of sums up me when I did that "You Alone I Have Seen/also known as Keep Them Safe" segment from Days Gone. Secondly, six to Seven Years ago, I've had attempt to 100% the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, I mean I thought to myself "Ok, these games are made for kids, so surly they would be easy to 100%", but after attempting so many times, I just said "screw it!" and didn't even bother to 100% them anymore, the games are WAY too demanding for what you need to do to get the Gems and even the Platinum Medal. Now the Spyro Reignited Trilogy on the other hand, THATS a game that far more manageable to 100%, so MayorHairBear when you get a chance, I recommend you do a "Platinum Run" on that.
I mean i mannaged this when i first got the games haveing never been able to 100% the original games despite growing up with the ps1. honeslty the only trophies that was a issue was the 99 lives one and maybe 1 or 2 of the relic missions. other than that its not that hard to get the plat. now crash 4 on the other hand my god never in a million years am i trying to do that.

I started Future Tense but I'll be honest by the end of this trilogy I was a little burnt out so, didn't get too far into it

Apart from the first game it wasn't all that hard, Crash 4 on the other hand gave me alot of trouble.
The N. Sanely Perfect Relics, Hidden Crates and the Platinum Relics to get 106% is pure a**hole game design.
