thanks my bro. great review. so this is obviously more of a "fashion only" , visceral appeal type of jacket, right? it doesn't look like it is used to keep you warm. looks nice but I also want to be somewhat warm for 400$ with tax..
It’s not going to keep you warm…I wore it the other day with a hoodie when it was 0 degrees celcius and I was feeling chilly 🥶

Hey brother, great review. I'm not trying to be rude by asking, but you mentioned you racer jacket you've outgrown. I'm 6'2" 160lbs and I feel like your old racer jacket could possibly fit me. Do you still have that jacket and if so, would it be something you'd be interested in selling?
Darn, wish I could but my dad is currently enjoying it while I try to steer clear of the dessert aisle haha

This may be an odd question, but scrolling through your channel you seem to have decent taste and like a lot of things I like. I'd imagine there's a slight possibility that the racer jacket isn't the only thing you've grown out of. I'm fairly close to your height and old size, so if by chance you have anything collecting dust because it no longer fits the way you'd like or whatever the reason may be, and you're interested in selling anything that isn't too beat up, I'd be interested. Not just jackets, but shirts or any clothing that fits too snug. I hope that's not a weird thing to ask on RUclips haha. If so, we could link on Instagram or something and talk about it. If not, it's all good dude.

The tobacco racer I had was noticeably heavier but it was from a few years ago so I don’t know if they’re still made the same. I’m going to try and get another racer because I miss having it and will do a video when I get it…also doing a video soon on the flight jacket, it’s a little heavier than the Keanu but not by much. I’m thinking it’s because of the plain front point collar jacket he wore in John Wick. Keanu is the man!
Angeljackets has cheaper version of the same thing, but not as many colors
Tough to tell, depends on width as well. Eur41 translates to an 8US but depending on foot volume that may be too big or small. Wish I could help more!
How thick is the leather?
Best measurement I could get with calipers was 2.4mm but that includes the liner. The collar is 4.1mm thick which would be two pieces of leather sewn together...so I'd say the hide itself is just over 2mm? It's definitely a thinner, lightweight leather.

I have the exact same jacket delivered just last Saturday, 3 days ago. I haven't worn it outside the house. Then I saw the above video where the guy had some quality issues after using it for one week. Anybody else have any quality issues with their leather jacke
I’m planning to do an update video on mine soon…I think it’s close to 3 months now, lots of wear, zero issues for me so far 👍
you could try AVI LEATHER, their goatskin flight jacket is far better than this junk

@@WangJianru just seeing this reply now, darn! I ended up getting a horsehide jacket from Avi but happily it’s a nice hide…on the thinner side for a horse hide but still feels nice. I will say the finishing on the Thursday jackets is better but the leather on the Avi is much nicer!

@@bootsjeansandtheoddwatchi’ve come across some incredible vintage pieces for right around that price. in this price range vintage is king. if you must have new, cockpit usa has a couple goatskin flight jackets around the $450 range that are made in the usa and are of much better construction and materials than this. thursday boots is just another hype brand that blow millions on marketing to convince people their products are quality. disposable fast fashion.

I wanted to find something of quality leather to last me for like 20 years LOL. I bought a black leather jacked in Uruguay like 18 years ago and it’s still perfect. For context in live in Miami so doesn’t get that much use. But I did buy a Kenneth Cole that disintegrated in my closet.
