For the larger controllers I prefer flight cases, but for a Prime Go which we use for wedding ceremony music, a smaller version of that style would work well. Maybe a laptop and Prime Go together would be nice.
It's a nice bag. Im curious why anyone would take this over a flight case with mics power and laptop stand built in = less setup time. I know why I would. Flight case is too heavy but this bag means I would have to setup all my wires. I need something in the middle maybe a lightweight plastic flight case

Depends on the airline even if u say it’s a musical instrument they may make u check it. I was able to bring the old UDG bag with my DDJSX on JetBlue but my buddy had issues with delta and United
The one FLAW is that you have to take the padding out to get to the bottom, that is gonna suck doing that 2x + per week. IF you could attach the padding to the middle padding layer and pull it all out together it would be way more efficient, otherwise you throw away 5 min per gig taking the padding off/on, that is 8+ hrs a year at 100 gigs, making this bag really cost $1200 ($400 + $800) the first year and $800 every year after. Also that egg crate foam will deteriorate and eventually cover your gear in foam crumbs. The fix is to make the middle layer velcro compatible and loosley cover the top foam with that shiny material, way more efficient with less wear and tear.

Yeah I have this one and it’s not bad when it’s just the rev 7 and the necessary cables. I put my laptop stand in there to try to reduce my amount of bags and it made a big difference

Yes, for all my club bar gigs. Used it last night! And I put my laptop stand in the compartment underneath the controller
