  • Leash pressure intro with Douglas!
He’s used to walking on a harness and having constant pressure on the leash. By giving meaning to leash pressure, we can provide him with directional guidance and teach him how to turn pressure off by making the right choices.
This directional guidance is used to teach a variety of commands like come, sit, place, and heel. The leash is essential to create follow through and provide clarity.
    Good boy, Douglas! 🐾❤️😍

What about yorkie trakia issues? Could this not cause them?

What age of yorkie can you use this with? I have an 8 week old. Thanks!

We typically start training with a slip lead around 12 weeks old depending on the pups progress. You can start preparing for leash training now by using your pup’s daily kibble to hand feed and lure into basic commands! :-)

@@seminolewind1999the slip lead works well for dogs that are sensitive to leash pressure. 😊 For dogs that pull more (some Yorkies included) we recommend using a prong collar to prevent trachea damage.
