I would like to say all the contents that stage milk are producing are really helpful for all of us actors. It's like a constant reminder to love our craft even more. The positive vibes are really comforting. Cheers to you Andy & The Whole Team Of Stage Milk ❤️.

Thank you for sharing this personal note of inspiration and motivation. We all have been through so much the past few years and it's nice to be reminded of what it felt like when we first started in this career.

Hey dude, I just wanted to let you know that your videos have really helped me. As an aussie recently starting out in acting I had no clue where to begin and you put out such helpful and real information. I’ve just submitted my very first drama school audition tapes! I just wanted to say thankyou and keep doing what your doing. It’s making a great impact on others😊

Hey Preston, so glad you connected with it. It’s a bit of a different style video so I was a bit nervous to post it, your feedback means the world. Hang in there and here any time if you need someone to connect with in the industry.

@@StageMilk And i appreciate the honesty of this video. I understand being nervous about posting it, but it’s that human condition that we all experience. The insecurities and hurdles we face in this wild career choice. Hope you all put more videos like this out there.

I love acting but I put it on the back burner for 25 years but last spring I was cast in my first major production. Mary Queen of Scots at Newman university in Wichita Kansas. I still get how good it was

Sounds like an amazing role and production to come back to! No matter how much time we have away that love never seems to leave us. Hopefully you can continue to make it part of your life now moving forward. That doesn’t mean you now have to live off acting, but can you find space for it in your life!

    Hi
Tell us some tips for building confidence before the camera.
And one more thing, how do I learn different face expressions.
    Love

Confidence on camera comes from doing. Working on self tapes at home or getting involved with short film, or web series projects. To the second point I wouldn’t worry about facial expressions, those will come naturally and focusing on them too much generally leads to more tension and insecurity

I really needed this today Andy 😭 so many things that have been such a struggle for me to get past and this has honestly been such a massive help in understanding how I’m feeling, normalising it but also ways to get past it.

You are def not alone in this feeling. The struggle is so real on many levels especially after what we've all been through the past couple of years. Having these types of open conversations that he talked about in this video really helps because it reminds us that we are all in this thing together and that no one is better than anyone else. Keep moving forward one tiny step at a time :)

@@VirtualTeachingPro absolutely! We can often feel very isolated like we are the only ones experiencing these issues but we are not. Thank you so much for sharing Ashlee x
