This song was released around the time my friendship with my long distance bestie was fumbling. We were almost on non talking terms; lots of arguing and lots of misunderstandings were there. We were both feeling bad about our failing friendship, but the crack in it was wedging deeper by each day. The day this song was released and i listened to it, it hit something in me that made me realize that i wouldn't want him to not be in my life and that he is an important and beautiful part of it. I sent him this song, and we talked about it and talked about us and we've been talking everyday since. I am so glad to have met someone like him (online). He's always there for me, even though not physically. I'm so grateful to Wonho, the whole team and everyone for making this masterpiece and healing my friendship, we are now the best of friends and I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

In this case, Wonho left his band, in order to protect his members, which, after all these years together, were like brothers to him. As soon as this information spread, the group's fandom did all they could to clear his name and eventually bring him back into the group, but sadly that's quite impossible. The flashlights in the end could possibly stand for his fans looking for him, during the time he disappeared. It happened to B.I aswell, former member of Ikon, who got accused by the same pitiful Individual. It's a shame this person won't ever face any charges..

In my opinion he still hasn't returned to the group, because there were some "fans" who criticized Monsta X for having a meal with him and everything is still very fresh, even though 99% of the fandom wants him to come back. Now we just have to wait for everything to calm down and see what the future holds, but he has already changed Kpop, I say this because there has never been so much support for an idol who was accused. National and international fans came together in a way that even touched fans of other groups !!! In addition, he managed to return in less than 1 year, which is rare in Kpop !!! And "Mirror" is his freaking masterpiece. You all should watch it! He designed Monsta X first Moondoongie ( lightstick) . Everything he has done it's coz he thought always about Monbebe. He was ours best suporter. He upload selcas very often and vlive. Sang for us. Ate with us. Workingout with us. Even after concert he missed us so much that he must do vlive just to talk to us. We had contact with him practically every day. It was our air, our sun. He made sure that we had eaten all our meals, whether we were dressed according to the weather, thanked us for being able to sing for us and create in a good environment. He will give his umbrella so that we will not get wet, he will wipe the wet chairs with his sleeve so that we can sit on them and he will take pictures of us because we are all beautiful. Yes he was my everything too . When he left I felt like I couldnt breathe right , there was just something missing in my daily life. In the begining and for a long time we didnt know what was happening in his life. I worried so much for him everyday, he was so sensitive and his heart get hurt easily. I was scared he wasnt taking care of himself cause he always cared more for others more than he did for himself. I was so happy when we started getting to see him after he was proven innocent, and I was so angry of all the months he was taken away from us just because despicable people though it would be fun to try to ruin him like they have done to others * who also didnt deserve it, those poor Idols so far havent made it back:( * So in fact there was no reason he should have had to leave us. What made it worse was even though he was innocent he couldnt come back to Monsta X because of a stigma that wasnt his to even bare.The only thing I can say nice about Starship right now, was that they did provide good legal representatives for him. I wont forgive them though how they tried to erase him from everything. To me that was too cruel coz he was a major part of their success, each member was a precious piece of the puzzle that made Monsta X what they are today . Without him there as well just isnt right.

during the 'incident' he decided to leave. the "me" is wonho and the "you" is referring to the group. he felt what it was like to lose the group, it was the roughest he had been through, and he didnt want the members to go through that as well. because of the incident, he knew that it would impact the group greatly; they could attract lots of hate and maybe disband. the members said the he is the most sensitive, he gets sick easily, and cries easily, yet he took sacrifices that affected him, rather than hurt anyone else. he left in order for the members not to experience losing the the whole group and instead only losing him, hence, the "losing me (one member) is better than losing you (the whole group). "dont you know that i would die for you, if i know that you would make it through" he doesnt want to impact the opportunity for mx's fame. he figured that the group would be better off without him. he would "die" (get rid of his reputation, fame, idol image) in order for the group to continue promoting. "build an army if you need me to" together, before the incident, they all built an army or fans, monbebes, who support them no matter what. he left the group and depends on the "army" of monbebe to continue to support mx without him. of course, we also support wonho as well, because although losing him is better than losing all of mx, *keeping him, is still better than losing him*

He left Monsta X so that the entire group wouldn't disband. I love Wonho and as much I want the reality to be different, seeing him happy and doing music is really healing
I actually didn't expect the song to be in English. But maybe this is his way of saying thanks especially cause the International fans were the ones mostly who stood with him, protecting him, being by his side during the troubles wonho and monbebes faced.
