I came here to say - I mean, if I went around saying I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they’d put me away!
Andreja here from Print N Play games. Amazing idea that one hex contains so much, we have done a similar thing where we add mini stories to a hex, but it was just one mini story per hex combined with a terrain type which also adds flavour. But I like when things are specific. Great job!
Picked up the pdf as an addon for the kickstarter. It's great! Some really great ideas and variety here. I love the flexibility and ability to adopt the contents to other systems, this is really a great strength of the OSR, promoting other games and creators
Recently got this in the mail from backing the Knave Kickstarter. The Wizards of Sparrowkeep was my favorite of the one page adventures, but all of them were good
Awesome, Ben! I think what I found most intriguing was the idea of many things to do within one hex, as well as the simplicity of the 1-page dungeon. I tend to run a small-scale campaign world, where everything typically occurs within the boundaries of a single kingdom / country. So a 1-hex campaign area would be a great starting point, and could easily be expanded on as the game progresses. Thanks for the inspiration!
I first heard of Waking of Willouby hall at your Gen con Panel (with the Professor dungeon master)! Im so glad i got it! I ran multiple times, and it is known in the Discords/Blog/SocialGroups as THE BEST ONE SHOT OF ALL TIME. I am grabbing the other adventures now! Are you going to be at GEN CON 2024? I would love to come to your talk!
Your videos and breakdowns of TTRPG books keeps influencing my art practice to make more TTRPG focused art. I may have to invest in a copy of Knave too. Once I’ve finished with my gallery submissions I have to develop a portfolio for TTRPG artwork.
Hi Ben, I am a big fan of the channel. I purchased The Waking of Willowby Hall. Although the design is fantastic I didn't enjoy GMing it too much. Because of the many rooms I had to describe way too much. I realy felt I had to cover too much room describing and took away quite a bit from the screentime of my players. Is there a good lets play of The Waking of Willowby Hall that I can watch? Geetings Frederic
I love this so much. I run a hexcrawl and I'm always stressing over how much it makes sense to fit into one area. This is almost uncannily what I was looking for. Also, I'm so using the competing for the witch's love thing.
I appreciate the flip through. It’s helpful even with having the adventures through the kickstarter. I look forward to running them. BTW, it was nice to meet you at GaryCon. Hope you enjoyed the game and the tour. Be well.
finally received my knave 2e kickstarter books and I had no idea that Summer's End was gonna end up being my favorite out of all my rewards. Super excited to try these out, I love how there's just enough written here to put you on the right track but has plenty of room for the DM to modify where needed. I'm hoping to run one of these adventures really soon, I feel like Alchemist's Repose would be perfect for a classic dungeon crawl for my mix of new and more experienced players!

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government
It’s not D&D until someone quotes Holy Grail 👍

It’s not; whole heartedly agree. 😂 So man great ideas in this video though, good job Ben!
Considering how most governments work around the world, I think we should give it a try.
Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!

Me: Well, how many adventures could they have possibly put in this little zine?
The Questing Beast: Watch this!
Awesome design!!!
This is the tightest TTRPG product I have ever seen, insane value! Ben you are a visionary

Ran Drums in the Deep and loved it, so did my players!
These look great!
Making my shopping list. ❤👍🏼
Love these one-pager one-shots! Index card dungeons, etc

How much questing can i fit in this beast
I like the whimsy behind a number of those scenarios.

These treasures arrived at my doorstep yesterday! Beautiful work Ben!
These are amazing. I'd love to see more of these kind of books.
This is very impressive.
Any chance the maps can le made available separately? I appreciate that they're black and white and will print nicely.

I've been running Summer's End combined with Black Wyrm of Brandonsford with a few minor tweaks to factions, and my PCs have been loving it
Love it!
Congratulations, Ben! Love your work, and I'm putting together a group of friends to play that puzzle dungeon as we speak / type ❤🎉

So happy to receive my kickstarter print version! So stoked, I don't know which one to run for which of my groups first!
Just bought the PDFs. Appreciate all of your work.
OMG, love it!!!!!
Any where to get your excellent and lovely products in print in Europe? 🙏🙏🙏
I never use hexes in RPGs. Why do I need a silly grid like that for movement? I've never understood it.
This looks fantastic! Will definitely be picking this up.
Literally just received the zine--amazing work Ben!
Me too!🎉
What kind of software do you use to put together these books where you have art in the pages, etc?
I use affinity publisher
@@QuestingBeast thank you so much. You're a massive inspiration!
Oooh. I've waited to hear you talk about this one.
You had me at sentient swords stealing swords.
Some of these sound absolutely hilarious!
Do you have any timeline for the PT-BR version of Knave 2e?

Received Knave 2E, Maze Rats, and zines this weekend. Really brilliant stuff, Ben -- thank you!
I’m writing some of my own little setting/hexcrawl and I love the layout of the hex you have here. A great combo of hex and point crawl.
Amazing concept ! You can just drop any of these hexes in a hexcrawl, that's very handy ! Can't wait to try it.
Ben - this sounds like a wonderful supplement. It would be a lovel addition to my ever-expanding collection.
Very cool.
Congrats! Seems great!
These look awesome!
Nice!!
Got my box a couple days ago. Great Stuff!
