  • In this video, we will see how you can convert an excel column to comma separated values using a simple formula.
    We will use the CONCATENATE formula to quickly convert an excel column to comma separated values.
    This versatile method will also allow you to use any delimiter of your choice instead of a comma - based on your requirements.

    Very helpful I was looking for this since time ago, but I can believe there is not a simple formula but recurring to another trick to do this, wow!!

    Here's the quick one, in Cell B type =A1&"," then double click the cell to run down the formula in Cell B. then in Cell C type =concat(B:B). Thanks!

    Thanks!. Although after pasting as values, still excel converts it into text and when i convert to number, the values go for a toss.

      If you are looking to convert comma separated values, you can use the “Text to column” feature. Please select the delimiter as “Comma” in the second step of the process

      @@meghashreems7990 could you please let me know what error you are getting? That will help to identify the issue - If you are looking for commas to rows - you can follow the steps in the video and then transpose the column to a row (additional step)
