I like that the command center is Galactica. Since the story follows Galactica pretty much exclusively, it makes to set it on that ship. It also adds to emersion if you decide to just go through Resurrections' campaign with just BSG-75.
Very nice review Zade. As a BSG fan i really enjoy it but i agree about the part where you mention missed oppertunity. I would have liked to see a predecussor to the Valkyria class light battlestars. This is because the colonials do not have such a ship. Its would be around the same size as a ranger class, but with fighters aswel I have just finished the campaign, and as a BSG fan i found it is money well spend to a small studio wich did an amazing job. The story and campaign are better quality and the cutscenes aswel. Looking forward to the season 2 DLC's.
Thank you! That would be sweet, more Battlestars is always good in my book :P Glad to hear it man, I'm with ya. For people who want to play more Deadlock, it's a super solid expansion. Fingers crossed for a sandbox mode tho 🤞
I think that the ships you are looking for are the artemis and minerva classes of battlestar. The lore at least has that view on the subject. Check out spacedock's video's on the ships, they are produced with help from the people making the game and i believe they count as official BSG canon
@@IO-hh2fz Hmm, i think the valkyrie and artemis are completly diffrent.... but i frikking love spacedock, daniel does wonders. IMO BSG deadlock is canon. The ship designs are just purrrrfect
I've played through the first two campaigns about 4 times now and I STILL have fun going back! (albeit on the highest difficulty for some REAL challenge!)
Quite a few people never realised that you can actually walk around the CIC by using the WASD keys! I recall spending 10 minutes gaping at the Galactica's control room when first playing!
This was actually the first DLC I've played, but I'd recommend for sure. Works great as a standalone product. I'm currently playing the next one (Ghost Fleet) and will have a video up soon. Hope that helps!
@@Zade_95 I ended up getting Anabasis first during Midweek Madness on Steam. Operation Anabasis was hard, but satisfying. I'll definitely be playing it on and off when I want a challenge. When I got my paycheck Friday I picked up the rest of Season One. The story in Broken Alliance was just OK, but I enjoyed it. Now I'm working my way through Sin and Sacrifice.
Depends on the game / company giving the code. As for being different for the final product, in some cases there may be a patch before release to fix bugs or make small changes, but for the most part it's exactly the same as the release build. That's my experience anyways, I'm sure there are more crazy examples of things being way different though!
I have the entire game including all the dlcs .slitherine should not lie to people about release dates,if they dont intend to do as they say .very dissapointed boys .shame ,shame

Solid review Zade mate. Loving the streamlining of the campaign as a whole :)
Thanks! Appreciate it :)

Right on release too, nice timing!
Thankyou! I was up until very late getting it done!

Lol that's accurate - I won't admit how long it took me to realize...
I found your review helpful. I just downloaded resurrection on PS4 today.
Hope you enjoy !
As someone who only owns the base game, which DLC do you recommend I get first? What's most important?

How do review codes work? Do you get access to the game for free for a limited tine or get to keep it? Is it different fron the final product?
