Maggie (sobbing in the train station): When you were born, you were this little baby and it was like you were the answer to all my prayers. You were the answer to all my prayers. And I thought to myself, "I'll be okay now. I'll be okay because you're here. I'll be okay." And I held your little hands. I'm so sorry...
@David Roy I do NOT think that obvious of an error is OK. Who in God's name does the fact checking/research for The Kennedy Center??? Anyone who knows how to use a computer knows that "ER" premiered in 1994 WITHOUT Maura Tierney (who joined in Feb 2000 and Sally Field made her debut in November of that year). And Tierney herself knew she was not on the show in 1994 so how could Field be? This was as bad as when they "honored" Springsteen with the WORST tribute ever. So disappointing to see such big mistakes when they "honor" people.
@@micheleatlilacsrust5785 Yeah that’s fair. I was just thinking maybe it was an accidental slip up but you’d think at least even the actors would realize it. Maybe that shows how actors view each role as a job and don’t give it much thought as to when it happened. Kind of like how many of them say they never saw the movie they acted in, just did their scenes and went home. But you’re right, things should be right when honoring people like this.
@@davidroy563 I agree about it being a job. This clip shows Tierney reading her whole speech in an almost robotic way, no emotion whatsoever. It's almost like why did she even bother?
I would just like to say that I am in love with Marinette Karen E I washed her since we are and I just found like she's a fan of fabulous woman don't just gets back to her maybe at one day
Everytime I see Maura and Sally in the same place, I can hear Sally as Maggie on "ER" screaming, "ABBY! ABBY! ABBY! ABBY!!!" LOL
american rust sundays on showtime
Yes!!! She was breathtaking in that role.
Very moving. These two were great together.
Outstanding actresses!!
Maura is so pretty. I'm so glad she hasn't messed up her face.

Damn Maura has aged really well
Sally 😍
It was actually more like 1999-2000. 1994 is when ER first came out. She didn’t show up until season 7. That’s ok though.
Yeah and Maura Tierney didn't come on until Season 6.

Don't actresses need the ability to emote? Her face looks frozen.
