What this lacks in terms of sakuga, it makes up in dialogue. I was always impressed by Rai-dei's very rapid yet also meaningful development. We see him casually kill one of his allies to his irrational spiritualism as he keeps daring to death to look him in the eye. Yet when he sees something so wildly outside his conception of reality that it even exceeds his ideas of the spirit and heaven, he becomes a completely regular person. "Is this what I've been seeking?" Yes it is, and how do you feel now that you've found it?
Rai Dei probably could of been convinced or atleast changed his mind about going after Vash (though he did have a self-destructive mentality), but Wolfwood was like "Oh, impressive you survived that....oh, you wanna still go after my bro? Well, guess its time to die now anyway, bye" *BANG*
I'm pretty sure it's a law in Japan that every piece of media has to have at least one element of Japanese culture. If someone were to make a series about the American Revolution, there'd be a samurai in there somewhere.

A key "NOT LIKE THIS!!!" moment

Three rurouni kenshin voice actors in this anime! Rai-dei = Saito, Legato = Kenshin, and the Roderick gang leader was Makoto Shishio
I thought they sounded familiar!
There's also Meryl = Kaoru, and Zazie = Cho the Sword Hunter
Rai-Dei is such an underrated character. I always felt really bad for him after reading his backstory.
Omg finally someone knew about Trigun: Rising!! I personally don't know if the girls got killed are his relatives or something
@@K4ND1B1T3S She was just someone he was staying with, though I think it was implied that she had feelings for him
he's my husband we are married...
4:05 Is this some sort of christian magic?
There's something you don't see everyday: a samurai in the desert.
Whether it be Yajirobe, Vicious, Goemon, Wufei, or Hiei, it's not anime unless someone pulls out a sword, regardless of setting.

does anybody know the name of the spinoff manga that revolves on rai dei the blade?
Trigun: Rising, it's on Manganato
Pretty smart move by Milly to take Meryl away when the Angel Arm started activating
This made my light as a troubled kid
At 1:45, That sign that said "Mad Pizza", is that a parody of Chuck E Cheese?
Samurai with an attitude problem.
Rei -Dei is lacking the one that most Samurai Warriors had: honor
Raidai could have killed him .. that's why vasg is the greatest superhero for any kid who has a brain
Holy moly
The only thing I know for real, THERE WILL BE BLOOD
C'mon momma's boy!
