  • "Album Review:
JESUS AND THE GURUS embark on a mission to save the children because this world is on the edge of mental enfeeblement. Due to their engagements on various Techno, Fetish and Rock parties the band attracted the attention of the media, but it only resulted in dubbings of the band being Fetishist-Satanist musicians. In 2003, theyve signed to the Fear Section label and debuted with the album Hammering on the Gates of Heaven on 31st October 2003 and only reaped praise for it. In 2009, theyre about to release their fourth collection of work Blood, Sweat and Tears on the Black Rain label and theyre not willing to slow down.
If you now think Jesus Marsch (Jesus March) is just a title let me tell you its not. It sounds indeed like a marching song. We have forceful kettle drums and a collective conjuring chant with German lyrics. Of course, metal riffs arent to be heard in such track usually. They should consider including them. Sounds damn good. Well back to the lyrics giving the impression of setting out to convert all the disbelieving people out there - with force if necessary. Pädo Pedro turns the wheel, as the title suggests, to a crime society, and especially parents would love to extirpate if they only could. Sexual abuse of children, one of the worst crimes I can think of. Its such a situation were shown quite plainly in the lyrics to a backdrop of scissoring riffs, ominous organ sounds and industrialized rhythms. I can tell you, I felt much better before listening to this song, pretty worn out actually.
Nevertheless, we need to move on to the next track which is Eiszeit (Ice Age) and this one provides a more than apt description of the machinery that is the music industry with hints at both the mainstream and dark music scene in which Every moron records a CD (Translated from the German lyrics) also including side blows to Chris Pohl and Dieter Bohlen. Why they chose Chris Pohl with all his thought provoking lyrics and eclectic music will stay a mystery to me forever (You found sarcasm here, youre damn right) Kill em All has an ongoing subtle rage flow building up slowly to relief its fury within the martial and harsh chorus with warped vocal streams, kettle drums, and razor-sharp riffing bound to understated beats and electronic pinches. China, China is exactly what you think it is. A lyrically unrestrained payoff and if you found military undertones on the musical side, it was no mistake. Most times theyre quite overt and only adequate considering the behaviour of this country and what they did and still do to their people.
Blood, Sweat and Tears is lyrically brilliant, sarcastic, cynical you name it. They dont mince their words and the musical accents ever fit to the lyrical theme from my point of view. Thats exactly what we need, a breath of fresh air and I heard its a pleasure to watch them live as well."

Reconstructed based on Panzer by Tyske Luddr (virtually the same lyrics with minor differences)
Im Kreml treffen sich die Greisen
      Da planen sie die Panzerreisen
Sie wollen euch die Freiheit bringen
Sie wollen, dass eure Kinder singen
      Stalin war der Reiseleiter
Auf nach Berlin und nachdem weiter
      Das Kulturgut haben sie geklaut
      Dafür den Bruderstaat gebaut
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern
Im Kreml treffen sich die Greisen
      Da planen sie die Panzerreisen
      Panzer auf nach Budapest
Diesem Aufstand geben wir den Rest
      Straßen tragen neue Namen
Seit damals als die Panzer kamen
Und im Frühling auf nach Prag
      Der freien Presse letzter Tag
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Im Kreml treffen sich die Greisen
      Da planen sie die Panzerreisen
      Weiße Weihnacht in Kandahar
Auf nach Tschetschenien im nächsten Jahr
      Ohne Panzer nach Iran
      Liefern wir das Uran
      Dafür bekommen wir Benzin
Für die Partei macht das Sinn
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!
Panzer wir reisen mit den Panzern, Hurrah! Hurrah!

      - [inaudible] is asking, you shall go out to pick up your wounded. (with heavy accent, probably German)
      - We will come out! But you must come out first! (in perfect Russian)
