6:32 I listened to six full albums today before seeing this video in my recommendations, and one of them was High Strangeness. 🤔 I even named a deck in a video game after the track "Theater of the Dead".
44:42 so true about Kanye, and others who never spent their formative years under the thumb of hard-core religions. Leaving is very similar to escaping an abusive domestic relationship.
To each their own, it seems a tab bit lacking in integrity to allow yourself to cross the line of professional into romantic when youre married. Everything is a choice. Everything.
So why haven't they changed their very christian name of their band?? that's a bit confusing? TULIP is an historic nickname given to the doctrines of grace, Total depravity, Unconditional election, Limited atonement, Irresistible grace, Perseverance of the saints. This is also known as the 5 points of Calvin. It was a set of doctrinal standards that came out of the Cannons of Dort to be a summary to refute heresy in the church. I heard the singer say that they were in a Calvinist church so I know for a fact this is the reason that they named their band TULIP. Very much an oxymoron to have an extremely Biblical and christian band name that is rooted in historical Christianity while not believing in God???
I mean they got kinda famous under that name, it wouldn't make sense from a marketing perspective to rename, and potentially lose many fans, who don't keep up with the band.
@@Purpl3Bun "Kinda famous" needs to be emphasized. My point is why would they keep a name that points directly to the thing that this band doesn't even believe in? Imagine someone asking them at their merch booth "what does your band name mean?" and them having to explain the Doctrines of Grace while than saying "oh but we don't believe in any of that" sounds just as stupid as the satanic church claiming they don't believe in the devil??........ Also, whether you believe in God or not, what these two people did is pretty disgusting and sleazy.

Starting another relationship when you're still in one is the healthiest way to do it.
