    Nice video, I paddled Moose Pond a few years ago, I was on a site that had a great little beach on it. I plan to get back up there sometime.

      Thanks Dan. I know the site you're talking about. It's in the northeast corner. Super sandy... likely because that end catches all the wind. Certainly a great spot to relax on a hot summer day.

      Thanks Kevin. The new Adirondack property really ate into our free time this year. We've decided to slow our roll a bit on fixing up the barn and focus more on getting back to exploring this year. It's what makes us happy.

    I don’t generally go beyond Long Lake, but you’ve presented this very attractively - sunshine, no bugs, beach and rocks to hang out on. Capacity of the parking lot there? Do you sign in at sites?

    • @CanoeCampClimb
      @CanoeCampClimb  11 месяцев назад

      Hi Robert. The parking lot is very large and I have never had a problem parking. Tons of spots available... I can only guess that maybe ±30 would fit in there. Thankfully I have never seen that many. Of course on a busy holiday (which I avoid) that may be a different story.. The sites are first come first serve with no sign in. Thanks for checking out the video.

    Have you paddled Franklin falls pond or Union falls yet? Also very scenic in the same area Jeff

    • @CanoeCampClimb
      @CanoeCampClimb  Год назад

      Hey Jeff. We have not. Although we have scoped them out practically every time we paddle Moose. I drool over the idea of paddling that stretch of Saranac River before Franklin. I know there are some rapids in there.
