Thanks for making me aware of this Pond ! Looks like a great place to spend a weekend ! We should get Alan ,and meet up there in the next canoe season !
Well that was really refreshing, especially watching in the middle of January ! Really makes me want ice out really bad ! Thanks for sharing man, great editing. That looks like a great little area for a weekend !
Thanks Dan. I know the site you're talking about. It's in the northeast corner. Super sandy... likely because that end catches all the wind. Certainly a great spot to relax on a hot summer day.
Thanks Kevin. The new Adirondack property really ate into our free time this year. We've decided to slow our roll a bit on fixing up the barn and focus more on getting back to exploring this year. It's what makes us happy.
Another great video Butch! Really beautiful place, I'll have to check it out sometime. That was cool seeing that heron and the kingfisher, and of course the loons. Great filming and editing, loved the music! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Alan. You, Trcey, and Sammy wouold love it there. Some nice hiking trails too. Ohhhh. big tip.... make sure to hit up Donnelly's Ice Cream stand after the paddle.
I don’t generally go beyond Long Lake, but you’ve presented this very attractively - sunshine, no bugs, beach and rocks to hang out on. Capacity of the parking lot there? Do you sign in at sites?
Hi Robert. The parking lot is very large and I have never had a problem parking. Tons of spots available... I can only guess that maybe ±30 would fit in there. Thankfully I have never seen that many. Of course on a busy holiday (which I avoid) that may be a different story.. The sites are first come first serve with no sign in. Thanks for checking out the video.
Hey Jeff. We have not. Although we have scoped them out practically every time we paddle Moose. I drool over the idea of paddling that stretch of Saranac River before Franklin. I know there are some rapids in there.

That would be great!!
What a great way to spend the day.
Thank you. Many of our favorite days are spent on the water together.

Thanks Craig. There are some really beautiful primitive sites on the pond... and great hiking trails too. Yes.... ice-out can't come soon enough.
@@CanoeCampClimb Good to know ! Thanks
On my bucket list!! Been looking to Winter Hot Tent this one!
That first rock outcropping would be the perfect spot.
Nice video, I paddled Moose Pond a few years ago, I was on a site that had a great little beach on it. I plan to get back up there sometime.
Thanks Dan. I know the site you're talking about. It's in the northeast corner. Super sandy... likely because that end catches all the wind. Certainly a great spot to relax on a hot summer day.
Great to see you back! Tree & 6:00 saying "Nope, not giving up"

Good fishing also. Thanks for the video Jeff
Thanks Jeff. Yes... with a great view.
Great video Butch, very pleasant to watch
thanks Steve. This is one In think you and G would love.
The narration and cimatogrophy truly encapsulate the beauty and scenerity of the Adirondacks.
Thank you Joseph. I really appreciate at that.
Great video! What a prestine pond. Still awhile to wait for ice out. Cant wait.
Thank you. Moose has a little bit of everything. I just got back from the ADKs... ice is still pretty thin in most places.
@@CanoeCampClimb I've been waiting for some thicker ice to hopefully do a winter trip up there soon.
The recent warm up and rain put a hurtin on the ice. Hopefully things stay cold going forward.@@AbundantAdventures

Allen, this would be a great place for a weekend meet up ! Maybe we could have Butch meet also ! Can’t wait for spring ! Peace ✌️
@MeetMeOutside sounds good to me! I can't wait for spring either, can't get here soon enough!
@@AlansOutdoorAdventures @MeetMeOutside I'd like to try some of Alan's potatoes.
@CanoeCampClimb those potatoes have become a staple for us on canoe trips, they are so good!
Another stunning video. We’ve camped on Moose it’s beautiful. There were some old ruins at our campsite.
Hey Thanks. I just finished watching your April trip to St Regis. Awesome trip and editing!!!! Thanks for the compliment. Moose Pond is a beauty.
Nice ! I'll add it to my list.
you won't be disappointed.
Nice looking boats
Thank you. They are Placid Boatworks pack canoes. Carbon Fiber and Kevlar. Very light.
Excellent job, we really enjoyed the whole thing. We will have to make it over there sometime for an adventure.
Thank you Alex and Jess. We will eventually make it up to your neck of the woods as well. Looks like you live in a beautiful area too
@@CanoeCampClimb we certainly aren't complaining 😉 hope to see you out there one day
Ice-out arrived early this year!
Don't you and I wish. Lol. Happy New Year Kevin.
Definitely needed to see this!
This paddle pairs perfectly with Donnelly's ice cream :-)
@@CanoeCampClimb it most certainly does.
Wow Love it!!!! what program do you use for your video editing?

Have you paddled Franklin falls pond or Union falls yet? Also very scenic in the same area Jeff

Nothing quite like it, is there?
It is a beautiful spot for sure.
