I don’t see how Oklahoma continues to find itself on the left side of these top 10 rankings. They should just be a hair above Clemson and OSU at this point. They’ve only played marginally better against worst competition than those guys
James Franklin best coaching moment\challenges (and many other coaches did very similiar things). 2020: Yes PSU went 4-5, but PSU lost their first 5 and out of those 5 loses only one game they were beaten without a doubt. You had Covid, you had the big ten cancel the season prematurely and change direction where you had ready the team to play without the school being fully open to support you. You have all your coaches away from their families, he was away from his family (had them stay in Florida I believe), you have bunch of kids that are looking to you to give all the answers to their questions. You lost your best or one of best offensive players (RB) in the spring to a heart defect, your best defensive player opted out. You are sitting 0-5 @ one the top college FB schools in the nation. You rattle off 4 straight wins against tough competition, great turn around. You had so much going against you and your kids. Reminder for those who did not know: PSU after their bowl win in 2019, if you looked forward at that point you star RB and LB, solid O-line and D-line, Solid QB, and very good WR Corps. Alot of this was lost for one reason or another in 2020.
Ohio State & Clemson there because of their brand. Last year was a chance for yall to start rating teams accurately. But no, let's focus on what teams have done in the past.
my top 10 BEST IN CONFERENCE rankings 1. Ala (SEC)2. Penn st (B1G) 3. Oregon (PAC12) 4.Cin (AAC) 5. OKL (BIG 12) 6. BC (ACC) 7. BYU (IND) 8.Coastal Car. (Sun belt) 9.SDS (MWC) 10. UTSA( C-USA)
well really nobody deserves to be n top 10. Every team has flaws, and no team has been dominant. Even Alabama... Georgia Penn state Oklahoma Iowa to name a few are good teams but not great and from week to week u can see that these teams are not as good as advertised. So the top ten teams will change from week to week because I believe no team will be undeated at the end of the year
I'd love to see it but that schedule is brutal. At Iowa, at OSU, at MSU, at least they get Michigan at home but that is four more games in the regular season where they are absolutely going to have to bring 100% to get a win. Then probably Iowa again in the B1G championship. OTOH, they could get in with a loss to Iowa if they win the conference title, but if they lose to OSU or Michigan they'll need help from other teams to win the division.
@@chas_post23 Easily! Can't stop a high school team playing 30 defensive players. And 4 of them are playing absolutely trash and need to be benched asap 35, 11, 8 and 17!
Maybe... but not Penn State or Iowa. And they have yet to face ranked team, but have four to face, including Bama and Arkansas, in their next eight games. They'll be lucky to escape with two losses.

The one coach I want to see go to USC the most is Luke Fickell from Cincinatti. I'm not even a fan of USC but I think that school would be a good fit for him and them. I don't know why but it feels like when Chris Petersen went from Boise State to Washington, would be a similar kind of vibe. I don't think he would go there but if he did I bet he would have some success with the way he coaches.
USC will have to dangle a lot of money to get Fickell. He's coached in Ohio quote literally his entire life and Cincinnati is a few short years off from joining the Big Twelve. Cincinnati is currently in a better place than USC.
