Great interview! I especially appreciate that it was so down to earth and honest. I wish I had seen this before I started with my bachelors degree in AI at JKU. As interesting as AI is I am also a little bit disappointed because coming from a more practical background in software engineering the university only teaches math and theory. The hands-on part of the curriculum on the other hand is basically just copy pasting without understanding anything :/
@@idealzzz5565 I am sorry. I should have been more clear. JKU is probably one of the best places to study AI. They have leading researchers and it is a very modern study (optional distance learning,...). But you should know that AI is a big buzzword and you might be disappointed when you realize what AI actually is. basically just math and theory. If you are fine with that, then go for it. Even though I would like to have a lot more practice, I still find it very interesting.
@@stefan-haas alright I only want to know that whether JKU is better for me or not because I've applied in JKU for my AI degree and I'm totally okay with Maths and Theory I only want to confirm that this institution is better for me or not once again thank you so much for informing me regarding this it means a lot to me :-)
@@dimitherdobrev8724 i don't know much about that because my application was rather simple since I am an austrian citizen. I guess you will need some kind of green card, but frankly, I really don't know.
Man I wish I get accepted in JKU! It seems like it has an incredible program

Is JKU not good for AI...?
