there's a recording of them doing this in a room completely off mic filmed on a cell phone if you search daft punk private performance and it sounds just as good, just with the beatboxing and bass a bit quieter since they seem the raise the levels a bit when mixing but it definitely helps make it believable!

Popspring 2016 concert. It has three original songs and their Evolution of Michael Jackson. All Live. Most reactors do it in one reaction. It isn’t really that long. The Pentaholics love it! Great reaction to Daft Punk. 💕💕
It is PURE a cappella. This is a medley, which means a bunch of songs put together from the band, Daft Punk. Then they do a mash-up at the end. Speaking about medleys on one topic, during the pandemic PTX, in their own individual home recording areas, put together a medley of songs about "HOME". It's called "Home", portraying how many people were at home during the pandemic. I like that one a lot. Thank you for your enthusiastic reaction to PTX. I look forward to more of your PTX reactions.
Daft Punk was big in the electronica scene in the early '00s. This is an amazing medley of a bunch of their songs strung together and I would not have believed you could do an acapella version of their music until I heard Pentatonix do it. The crushed it.

Pentatonix also has some medleys. The most popular are their "Evolution of..." videos. "Evolution of" -- "Music", "Michael Jackson", "Beyoncé", "Rihanna", "Ariana Grande". And they're less likely to get blocked. Medleys include "90's Dance Medley", "Perfume Medley" (Perfume is a J-pop group), "Nsync Medley", "Home"
It's a mashup of about seven Daft Punk songs.

Pure A Capella, my dear! If you ever hear instruments, you WILL see them in the video. They are a very honest and humble group, and actually quite young! They won the Sing-Off when The Trio (Mitch, Kirstie, and Scott all went to the same school down in Texas) all were only NINETEEN!!!
You are just…. A bit of JOY. Loving your PTX and home free videos. Hope you will check out Mitch and Scott’s side project, Superfruit, sometime. They aren’t usually a cappella, but their medleys and originals are fantastic.
Loved watching your reaction to this! Part of what makes it hard to believe there's no guitar, keyboard, etc. is that while some members are singing lyrics, the others are imitating backup instrument sounds by continuous humming and chanting. A great example of this is in their "Sound of Silence" and "Amazing Grace" videos; pay close attention to the bass singer in those -- Matt, the tall black cleanshaven guy. You'll notice that he's often humming -- his mouth is closed but you can hear a deep, melodious sound coming from it, like a very mellow tuba.
Also, Daft Punk Kirstie is as cute as a button with her crooked little smile. :)
Definitely check out the beatboxer Kevin Olusola's "KOver" of "Down". You need a chance to focus on him to see what he can do. You won't regret it!

I second the Popspring 2016 performance. The History of Michael Jackson is amazing, and that version of Can't Sleep Love is better than any other version.
Also, A Ha live at the Star Vista in Singapore is a powerhouse. Avi hit a low note that blew the speakers, and Mitch went completely off the chain. It's a fan video (Kevin is there, I swear) so the audio can be a bit scruffy, but it's their best live performance of anything.

Michael Jackson medley is great!
This won their first of 3 Grammy's. It was recorded in a bathroom and total cost was $400.00. After they won the "Sing Off" one of the prizes was a contract with Sony Music. Not long after Sony dropped them because Sony didn't think their style of music would go anywhere. I have yet to hear one song i don't like. Enjoy your journey, you won't be disappointed .

All A Cappella (2 words, 2 p-s) yes. No instruments. Their voices are amazing! These are many different songs from Daft Punk: Technologic, One More Time, Get Lucky, Digital Love, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, Television Rules the Nation, and Around the World.
It is amazing what they can do. Kevin is a beatboxing beast. No matter how many times I listen to this song I still get Mitch slapped...lol. You want to listen to another amazing song listen to Love again. Love your reaction!

You really want to get your mind blown? They have an original electronic dance style song called "Love Again." If you don't believe that it's all acapella, there's a live version of it where they legitimately sing this in a *hallway* and it sounds unbelievable, but so so real. Highly recommend the studio version and the live version of that one, just to prove it to yourself.

They do this live. No instruments. Some EQ, echo/reverb and compression on the sound board.
Kevin (beatboxer) and Avi (bass) are a very tight unit on this song. So Avi is doing a much more percussive bass singing style and doing trick things like finishing the bass sound on Kevin's "bass drum" kicks to give it that drum pad sound. Really touchy on the timing.
The grammy was for the arrangement, not the video. It was written by Kevin and Avi, but I assume that Ben Bram did some work to polish it up.
Right before they were to record, the studio. backed out. This was recorded in Avi & Kevin's apartment. This won them their first Grammy.

The Singapore recording is great but it focuses mostly on Mitch. Another good one is a livestream of the 5 of them doing A-Ha. You can really see what Avi ans Kevin are doing in the song. 👍

Another AMAZING one just for the scope of what they can do with their voices is "Gold"
Avi is doing the baseline….that’s different than what Kevin does as vocal percussion. Sometimes they compliment each other so that it’s to tell who is doing what and where the sound is coming from, but they are doing different things.
Aren’t they fun to watch? They are having such a great time - and you look like you are too! 😅

Look for Daft Punk "Private Performance", it was filmed in a room, with a bathroom visible to the right rear of the room.Audio quality is not the best since they have no microphones, and it was recorded on a cell phone. Watch that, and then decide if they used anything other than their talented mouth (did not mean for it sound that way)....
