- I've drained whole channel till the bottom! I lost my drone unfortunately.. I was searching it 2 times for half hour each time. And I've found it. But It didn't worked anymore... :(

Just a quick recommendation that you could repair your waders with a simple bicycle tire patch kit. Quicker and cheaper than a new set of waders and more eco-friendly than adding the old ones to the waste pile while they might still have years of life left in them. Good job!
Some waders are pretty cheap, they are hard to fix… Water Will come thru at some point.. Sadly!

I was thinking Flex-Tape from Lowes or Home Depot. I know they aren't in his country but he could order it and have it sent.
@@michaelripley4528 It isnt hard to fix, you can use a bicycle tire patch kit and it costs maybe a dollar and takes 2 minutes. It isnt hard, dont assume things you know nothing about....

Yes, videos of building homes do quite well on RUclips, especially if you are doing the work yourself.
You can try rubbing alcohol to clean out the electrical components that have been oxidized. i work on laptops and thats what we use with cotton swabs.

Thanks for making such relaxing videos! I suffer from anxiety and depression, to the extent that I find it physically impossible to leave my own home for days and weeks at a time. As a result, I spend a lot of time watching "ASMR" videos, as they both occupy and soothe me. I love your videos, for your tone and even-temper, and for the format which focuses on the best part, for me anyway, which is the dam removal.

Thank you very much Tamara! I wish you to get away from this ASAP! Have you tried any sports or even walks? In our country there are a lot of alcoholics. I am trying to think why it’s happening. Of course it could be some difficulties in life. But in most cases there is no challenges for them and nothing gives them dopamine or serotonin. Please do not take it personally. Just my thoughts.✌️
@@Kenislovas my situation is a result of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) - I'm doing talk therapy, and I have prescriptions that help with the symptoms. Thankfully, I am not a drinker, so alcoholism isn't a concern. I would love to exercise, but I can't even get out of my bed most days, never mind leaving the house to exercise.

@TamaraWiens~~~ I certainly can relate to your situation and I agree 100% that talk therapy helps. I struggle w/ same issues and find that videos of outdoor scenes, nature, birds and their nests give me chances to relax, feel better. I love dogs but don’t have room for one of my own, so I watch lots of RUclips channels with great dogs owned by great adults. Significant medical issues have stressed me, but slowly better; I am proud of myself when I do get out. Take good care of yourself. You have discovered actions that help; “keep on keeping on”, as they said years ago. I wish you the best !!!

Take your waders. Fill them with water and you can see where holes are to patch them
If you turn them inside-out first, you can patch the inside too.
I know where holes are:) just afraid to get more soon.
Sorry about the Drone , People freak out when beavers are hunted ,even though it's a necessary to keep them from overpopulating the area and ruining farm land for growing crops ,There is a lot of water being held back in that Canal ,I did a lot of trapping when I was a young man going to High school For extra money to buy clothes we were poor

I know they’re a nuisance and flood fields but I’m not into the hunting part. I’m not opposed to hunting but I’m not interested is seeing it. Just my thoughts. I’d hate for them to become endangered. We don’t openly hunt them here in Canada. If it’s for fur, it’s not something we do (some do).
They are very good to eat and they destroy land and kill the trees as long as there's a balance they will be fine

With regards to the drone, disassemble it and dunk it in pure alcohol before putting it in rice. The alcohol will displace the water and prevent corrosion. Before reassembling, inspect for corrosion and clean with a soft toothbrush if found.
So sorry you lost your drone and waders. Maybe try filling a plastic bag wit plain white rice and put the drone in it for a few days . I did that with a cell phone and it worked. The rice in a plastic bag will draw out all the moister. Good luck . Another great video 👌

I suppose you were watching for your drone to float by - hope it wasn't in the down stream side of the dam. AAh - so glad you found it.
It looks like you need new gloves, new waders and a new drone. There are days when it all goes bad at the same time. Best of luck!
Funny how over the years we all seem to recommend the same thing about repairing the waders. Also, it's great to see how the channel has grown. I remember when you were struggling to get up to 30k. You've come a long way and I wish you much more success.

An old saying in England- it comes in 3’s which means 3 bad things happen, you lost your drone, holes in your gloves & your Waders leaked. On the plus side you got a plot of land,. Now you have 2 lots of videos to make, the Dam removal & building your house good luck xxx

When I gave my drone a bath all I done was to let it drain than put it in an air tight bag with rock salt for 5 days and she flew ok. Anyway great videos and keep warm.

You should be able to use inter tube patches on your waders.
I can not believe how large the dams are that you have to clear. Those are some industrious beavers. But it’s sure fun to watch them break. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there.

for making the gloves last longer, you could try to still go with the cheaper rubber gloves and get a pair of sturdy leather working gloves to wear over the rubber ones.
that way you will still have dry hands and the working gloves act as a protective layer.

I fished the Musselshell river and I found a spot with 3 bank beaver spots. Good fishing there. I caught small mouth bass.

On the gloves look for heavy duty long sleeve concrete gloves made of neoprene. When I worked construction 40 years ago, those gloves was almost indestructible

hmmm maybe should have tried putting Drone in bag of dry rice [ never know works to get moisture out oof cell phones]
He said in the video he was going to use rice. It needs stripping and cleaning each component with alcohol thoroughly rubbing any corrosion away. The low voltage doesn't usually cause any permanent damage when immersed in water but condensation within the camera could take a while to dry out and that component MAY have to be replaced. It takes time for them to dry thoroughly.

Maybe you can seal the waders w something. Gloves just get another pair.

WOW Your attack on a dam has changed a lot. Better results with less work. The more material you remove from the front of the dam the easier it is to remove the mud from behind the dam.. The more small sticks and twigs you remove from the stream the fewer blocks down stream. Some waders can be repaired with bicycle tyre patches.
Sorry to hear about your drone Mantas, I could see you were really upset about it. I'll make sure to send some paypal money when my next pension payment is in the bank, it's the least I can do for the enjoyment I've had from your videos. Good to hear your news about buying the land for your house though, I'm sure that made you and your wife very happy. We have had a very mild February in the south of the UK, no snow but plenty of rain.

Try taking the Drone apart and use some Qtips to clean the PCB and connectors. I have been able to save other devices by doing this.

You need what is called sandblast cabinet gloves .there really thick , not so much insulated ,but thick.And long , they should go almost to your shoulders.
Sorry about the drone. The mini 4 is awesome. I have the 3 and I love it. Both the 3 & 4 have better crash avoidance on them but the 4 has a much better system. Also I highly recommend the built in screen remote so I don’t have to mess with using my phone to fly. I have a bulky case for my phone so having the built in screen means I don’t have to take the phone out of the case every time I fly.
I should think about 4.. just it’s quite expensive😀

Got to get some Glue from the Glue store. Or a tire patch kit.. Spray the drone with WD 40 and but a electric blanket on it for the night.

For your next drone paint it red and put a small tracker on it that your phone can pick up on.
It has GPS of course. It would not change anything unfortunately.
the drone can be solved with a good cleaning and drying by a specialist. that will be cheaper then bye a new drone
