My great Uncle served in a sherman in WWII and again in Korea. I never realized how bad it was for him till seeing this movie. I remember being a kid and hearing him scream at night sometimes, scared me to death. he'd wake up and get upset apologizing for it. Wish I had understood this before he died.
My great grandpa road in the second armor with Patton and landed on D-Day in a sherman tank. He was the commander of his tank. His tank lit on fire after being hit by grenades and he saved his hoal crew by pulling them out of the tank. He then after the war became a fire man, never got to meet the man.
As a retired Abrams commander, I would like to say I am sorry for your losses and I salute these brave heros for not only their demotions of duty, but the sacrifices they made to protect us and the world. @@retardcorpsman Of course. You need to watch the movie first and then you can say it's just a mediocre movie. "Das Boot" is realistic and the best movie about submarines ever filmed. "U571" is a total crap... "Fury" is funny to see...but unrealistic. It is just like the food at McDonnals...
Just watched this absolutely amazing 👏 10/10 Wardaddy : If a man loves the world, the love of the Father ain't in him. For all in the eyes, the pride of life, is not of the Father. But of the world. 😢 Beautiful Soundtrack 🎻
Fury for me was a fantastic film despite the handful of glaring inaccuracies put in there in order to add to the drama. As a tank crewman myself I appreciated a film which focused around the trials and tribulations of a tank crew, the nature of which is always very close knit due to the close proximity in which you live with each other. Also, I've often felt before that tanks are looked at by both the masses and individuals in the military as just that, tanks. Because we, the organic component are not as visible and in some instances totally invisible when the tank is closed down, it takes the human factor away from them. Whilst this is useful in as much as the enemy cannot see a tank crew panic in the same way they could see dismounted infantry move and react to their actions, it also means that through history we've not been considered as much as the infantry. The same could, of course, be said for many other subunit types and branches. So yeah, all in all, an excellent film and a fantastic musical score to match. The music in various parts I'd say add as much gravity to what's going on screen as the narrative.
Seen a lot of war movies and this movie by far is one of the best. The music heard in this movie will always be with me. Shit is deep! Still listening in 2022

An unappreciated and for many misunderstood movie.... Good music, movie, story. this is 45min is circle again again again ... like quote in midle of movie .... " where you go ? ...size next city ...and next city (we will lost our mens, you lost yours) until your pride will broke and you give up.....dealt with lost war. Good base for discusions. I am 30 years old. I did not cry when they died and at the funerals of my close relatives. But with great events, they have a hundred times larger scales, like here in movies and music like this one. I think what I watch and listen to. He realizes what the war brings and what different scenarios are written and what despite the wars in the past, people do each other more or less consciously. They are wasting so much effort that all those fighting in the past have suffered, and now instead of doing everything not to waste it, they do a lot of mindless, unnecessary, stupid, harmful, short-term things or not benefiting in the long run. What you can not do now in time of peace and need, would be useful to do for the greater good .... what, what behaviors lead to war. What kind of sacrifice soldiers carry as an order or with free will. And the throat squeezes and tears come out of my eyes. I am more or less trying to understand, empathize or even identify with events.
when i first watched it {recommended by my fiance, i was like, oh yawn another war film} In thought it was OK. Now, I've watched it many times. I'm hooked o it. especially the battle scenes. and how they work perfect together. each cast member suit their roles, I think.
This was such an amazing movie. Sure, there were some inaccuracies, but the feelings that you got from it (and the phenomenal music) are sublime. In my opinion, the thing that makes a war movie good is the emotions that are conveyed. You will never truly understand what your forefathers, fathers, and brothers went through, but to just comprehend it a bit shows the horrors of war.
This movie was based on 2 actual events cobbled into one movie. One in WW1 and the WW2. "War Daddy" was the real nick name of the tank leader Lafayette G. Pool and his crew. His crew were veterans of many battles and their actual tank was called "In the mood". Brad Pitt plays Pool. The second actual event was a WW1 tank that got stuck in a ditch in no mans land after a tank assault. The crew were surrounded by German soldiers and the Germans attacked this single tank for more than 3 days. Day and night the crew fought the Germans off. Every assault were repelled by the crew. The crew did make it back into friendly lines after fighting for so long, they realized no help was coming. The tanks nickname was "Frey Bentos" Fury is basically these two real events. It's not just a movie. These things did happen.
Yarnhub has an episode on the in the mood and Lafayette. His tank was hit and he had to saw his foot off. Please consider watching that Yarnhub episode its really good.
Excellent film depicting the horrors of war and to honour those that really did loose there lives for us the and future generations. But the world is changing and we could be back there soon as issues all around the world, lets hope not, but remember there courage. 😢❤
This film has one of the best character development ever, Norman a young man who was thrown into a tank and was not ready to kill but quickly learned to do otherwise, he even became the first man to volunteer standing his ground with the Sergeant (initiating everyone else to do the same). By doing this, he made himself and all the tank crew a warhero in the end. The music hits hard at the end of the movie...
I’ll always be proud as hell of my Grandpa who was in a submarine (USS Sawfish) in the Pacific. He received the Silver Star for his service, but never talked too much about it. It kills me that I still have so much to talk to him about. We will never see another generation of hard fucks like that again. Forever lost, but forever remembered...I hope
You can change that today. Teach the next generation what your grandfather fought for and what it means to be an American. Never give up, never give in and be better. That is American...We will see another great generation and it starts with you.
Listen to this whilst imagining a war torn europe. Burning villages, panicking wilflife decimated landscapes, bodies, homeless, burning Nazi flags, artillery fire & planes over head. Truly humanitys darkest time. Its hard to believe sometimes it actually happened. I think about it atleast once or twice a week. All that death, anguish despair & suffering.

The power of the song in this movie reflects the impact this war had on so many people's lives and still does to this day. What a song and movie. A must watch for everyone.
As humans we are not defined by our faults or sins, but by the capacity for love that we have for one another. When one is within the Brotherhood, one abides by the law of the word. We all raise our fist when we hear the call. We are all equalized under this truth, and the supremacy of the call's benediction binds us.

@@joydevsarkar4474 To preserve a nation, sometimes others must be sacrificed. Also I wasn't alive for the Bengal famine, so I could not remember.
"And so, i watched my brothers die, and i died; this single breath moves my body across this world, only to remind those who carry the fight, that for what they died, for the freedom of those that cannot fight, for the voice of those that cannot speak; my brothers died."
Who said that/what's it from?
“All would wish to go to heaven, but if I had to let the lord know my wish, is to unlock the gates of hell and let me run head first into the harrowing fires…. Let my blood fall, let my spirit get tossed, I am the knight who dared to step on Lucifer’s doorstep, when the world fell into his flames.”
Me-
When you are from Syria ,you know how much this music touches your soul till the point making your eyes explode with tears.
ı am sorry bro ı am from turkey and ı dont do antyting for this ı am sorry

There’s a verse I think about sometimes. Many times.
“I heard the voice of the Lord saying, who should I send, who will go for us, then I said, here am I, send me”
Isaiah 6:8
45 min version of Norman from "Fury" (2014).

This is so powerful man. Just like the film. Epic. To imagine Nazi earth is horrifying. The sacrifice those soldiers made was tremendous. So tremendous it sometimes makes me feel like i wasnt worth it. Respect to them forever.
Couldn't tell you how many times I've watched this
RIP Emma
+SpikyDane that traitor bitch deserved to die in a painful way.
+Unnamed Individual how was she a traitor
dude dont you think that having sex with an enemy soldier is a bit trash thing to do?
Unnamed Individual probably did not side with the nazis. They kinda blew her up lmao.
You are an idiot. She was a German civilian you moron.
i love this movie, and it's one of the best and sadest ends that i have ever seen
when i first watched it {recommended by my fiance, i was like, oh yawn another war film} In thought it was OK. Now, I've watched it many times. I'm hooked o it. especially the battle scenes. and how they work perfect together. each cast member suit their roles, I think.
+jane willett Best war movie!
Roland Furár band of brothers is also good as is saving private Ryan
+Roland Furár next to saving private ryan, I can't choose, but this music...it is so so good!!!!!!
+jane willett pls watch Unsere Mütter, Unsere Väter. or as you may find it "Generation War". That is the one and only true war experience.
Ö Drei okay will do 😉😆
Beautiful but very haunting piece of music
It just goes and goes and goes I train with this all the time 👊🏾👊🏾
The battle wages on...
رائع لا توجد كلمات ، أعتقد أن الفيلم قوي لكنني كنت سأخسر الكثير إذا لم ينته بهذا الصوت الرائع. الحب هو ما أشعر به تجاه هذه التحفة الفنية
Couldn’t have picked a better song for the movie, this is just perfection
This was such an amazing movie. Sure, there were some inaccuracies, but the feelings that you got from it (and the phenomenal music) are sublime.
In my opinion, the thing that makes a war movie good is the emotions that are conveyed. You will never truly understand what your forefathers, fathers, and brothers went through, but to just comprehend it a bit shows the horrors of war.
This song embodies that feeling at the end of the movie so well
This song motivates and makes me feel sad at the same time
This movie was based on 2 actual events cobbled into one movie.
The tanks nickname was "Frey Bentos"
Fury is basically these two real events.
It's not just a movie. These things did happen.
I didn't know about that thanks
@SS-Hauptsturmführer Michael Wittmann would love to have a movie made about him but stupid politics won't let us see it.
Yarnhub has an episode on the in the mood and Lafayette. His tank was hit and he had to saw his foot off. Please consider watching that Yarnhub episode its really good.
Yarnub also has an episode on fray bentos.
Excellent film depicting the horrors of war and to honour those that really did loose there lives for us the and future generations.
But the world is changing and we could be back there soon as issues all around the world, lets hope not, but remember there courage. 😢❤
This is one of my favorite movie... best film show I ever had x)
XD
BEST JOB I EVER HAD! MACHIINNNEE!!
+Radioactiv MACHINEEEEEEEEE
No matter how many times I watch this movie, it still gets me....every damn time.

+Losfirstduty Thank you for view!
The power of the song in this movie reflects the impact this war had on so many people's lives and still does to this day. What a song and movie. A must watch for everyone.
Agreed. Agreed.
"Those who cannot learn from the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana
To date one of my favourite war movies
Top 3 best war movies of all time thanks for this.
2020 Still Loving IT ! Great Movie and Good Soundtrack
As humans we are not defined by our faults or sins, but by the capacity for love that we have for one another. When one is within the Brotherhood, one abides by the law of the word. We all raise our fist when we hear the call. We are all equalized under this truth, and the supremacy of the call's benediction binds us.
Nagyon ott van ez a zene!🤩 Egyèrtelműen a legjobb filmzenèk között van! Szeretem hallgatni, inspirál és feltölt. 🙂
Legendary soundtrack!
