Was looking at carbon insoles for BMX. Vans are grippy and comfy, just flex so much and always explode the sole at the ball of the foot. Appreciate the review.
100%. I've had mine for years. They wont increase your vert, maybe half an inch at the max, but they WILL help with pain relief. My knees feel much better in them. I highly recommend using them with an ultra light shoe tho, if you wear heavy bball shoes plus put these in then you'll feel like you have bricks on your feet lol. I wear the Zoom Freak 4s with them in and it feels much better than when I wore them with my Kyrie Infinities.
The Superfeet stiffener appears to end before the ball of the foot. I wanted a stiffener that goes all the way to the toe, for my floppy dress shoes. This one looks like it goes all the way to the toe, but for extra dollars.
Different design and super feet are less expensive. I don't base a product by its cost but you definitely have to test it out to see if it's worthy of using
Mahalo Dr. Hans, appreciate your fairness and your testimonial from personal experience...I was planning to purchase for my son, but i think i will wait a little longer for another, competitor will resolve some of your concerns...Mahalo again...Dana
People forget that to get that “energy return” that they advertise so much, you have to put that energy in initially. They show a floppy shoe bending easily and not bouncing back, obviously it won’t bounce back bc not much energy was put into the shoe originally to bend it. Then they put the insole in and put their entire body weight to bend the shoe and it bounces a few feet into the air and people act surprised that it bounces higher when that’s only because they put more energy into it at the start
Thanks man nice review. They have helped me with not wrapping toe for strained turf toe with weak left metatarsel. Def helps with impact relieves aches and pains in foot for sure.
Thank you man that means a lot. I have been in the process of balancing my newly-built family and my full-time job. I will surely be back making videos very soon.
@@Dr_Hans i feel you man. i used to make videos back in 2009 -- jefferrrson was the account.. but then it just took way too long to edit and adulting took over loll. cheers bro!
This doesn't work for multiple reasons. The reason being is where the carbon fiber is located. This is why Jordan's put the carbon fiber under the outsole. Prime example Jordan 11 ESPECIALLY THE JORDAN 12
Their true value proposition must have been reducing injuries but their marketing person probably suggested that new generation wants more, let’s give them hope to jump higher” Placebo effect my friend, it was you believing that insoles are supposed to help, plus you paid $200, you want to believe. If these insoles really worked, they would have been banned.
I had the Nike 300$ mercurial superflys cleats with carbon fiber on the bottom and cracked the living hell out of them.. they looked really cool that's pretty much it
That's exactly what I did i weight about 160 so i chose the 180+ option in hopes they will have more recoil. Ik I'll need it because when hitting the bag I'll put upwards of 400lbs of pressure on the ground
Thanks for the review. Sounds like it’s not for me. I’ve been playing basketball for 20+ years and have sore back & knees from it. I was looking for something was more shock absorbent.
I never tried that but as long as you have the ability to fix the insert firm and sound you should be fine. You don’t want that Issue from Air Jordan 18 where the insole kinda slide around in there.
I didn't crack it on purpose - it's just wearing over the time. I wore them a lot. And honest, I did not noticed any performance changes. My focus is more on improving stability and preventing injuries, and that fortunately didn't change a bit. The "Jump higher“ thing never happened to me so can't tell about that. The crack didn't grow bigger over time, which surprised me. .
Great question. I guess you don't need to because I really don't think the sockliner can survive from heavy washing. If you really need to clean them, wipe them with water should be enough.
I personally do not play football so I'm not the best person to say that. But I do know that there are many football players wearing them according to their website. I believe that you can buy and try them for 30 days for free, and if they don't work, you can just return them.

I think half an inch is from the thickness of the insole lol
Would love to see a comparison between VKTRY and SUPERFEET CARBON insoles. VKTRY is 199.00 , Superfeet is $55.00.
Which ones better?
Vktry is a spring plate superfeet is not

VKtry insoles, just got them last week. I love them! I feel very stable and secure in all the shoes I tested. Nano X1, X2, and X3.

You are welcome. Try Move Insole (Dame Lillard’s brand) on Amazon. Cost-effective and good quality too.

I had mine for a year and I agree with everything you just said!
This is an amazing review, its a shame to see your last post was 3 years ago

They sure do. I love them a lot. I spend sometime getting used to the stiffness but now I just cannot live without it lol.
Great review, just looking for something to reduce strains. Workout 3x a day. The vertical thing was just an extra benefit ig
very good review man. wish you went back to making more videos on here. good stuff!

Well said, that's spot on. A good example to hire good marketing people as a small business.
Thanks for the honest review!
Honestly If you want protection vktry go ahead, if you want vert just get stiff but light insoles with light sneakers
Super informative!!
Glad it was helpful!
in the philippines theres another carbon fiber insole and its legit and its only 50$ its just like vktry insoles
Thanks for the review, been wondering if these would help my game and prevent injuries

Thanks for sharing and this is really helpful! Also sounds painful though
@@Dr_Hans they just wear out and start to crack
I wanted to know if there is any product that really can increase the jump
Maybe you should choose 50lbs more than you actually weight... stiffer = more recoil . Or at least that's what I am thinking

This is a great review man! Thank you I needed this.

Since most insole that come with the shoe, what are great affordable insole to buy?
Do you think carbon fiber inserts would work equally as good?

Thanks for pushing me to buy this, bro
lmao
For 200$ i expect insoles to hold forever tbh
I totally agree with you on this.
I run a lot will this help with shin splint prevention?
How did you crack it? and do u notice the crack in the bottom with performance or feel?

My shoes make “Donald Duck sound” with these insoles, any tip of how to accurately install them?
Put baby powder under the insoles before installing them
That'll do it looollll
Great video
Y they make my shoes squeak so much
LOL I have two questions how do I wash it
Great question. I guess you don't need to because I really don't think the sockliner can survive from heavy washing. If you really need to clean them, wipe them with water should be enough.
👏🔥
Do I buy it in 1 quantity or 2
They come in as a pair. i don't think they have the option for one single insole.
Do these make you a little taller?
Not really, they are not very thick.

Hell no, this isn’t a balance increaser. Sounds like you need to do some training. Jump rope, ladders, calf raises, core work, and deep squats.
nah bro, dis will bot help with balance of that position lmfaoo
If yo balance off at LB do the drills you can’t jus throw shit on and magically get better WORK🏆
