Yea can whistle a pt to attack the blood stalker and it will be grabbed even if it hasn’t grabbed you yet and it won’t drop the taming efficiency as much as a person with blood bags does
I’ve been watching this channel since 2016 or 2017. And all I got to say, these videos have stayed consistent with Dino’s and taming video. I just really appreciate the consistency throughout these times.

We had a couple peeps who preferred to put down 4 or 5 beds and just drain themselves dry, respawn and drain again, until they had what they needed.
Full Metal or just ruin the game completely. These and magmas ruin the pvp aspect of the game. Blood stalkers can pull you off any tame easily and track u and magmas make offline raiding even more easy than it already was.

11:54 thats not entirely true, spider vision shows all allies with a green outline, thats true but white outlines signify creatures that are around the size of the bloodstalker and can be reeled in, something like a carno wont get the outline and cant be reeled in, red outline is for creatures that can be reeled in right now from current your position, only exception seems to be the pachyrhino, you used to be able to reel them but now they still get the white outline but you can reel them anymore.
This is ten times harder on official. The ghillie doesn’t seem to work this good at all. Also you hardly ever have just one solo spider chillin by his lonesome. Usually you are being grabbed from all over gods creation 😂
If you hold sprint and then jump the bloodstalker does a flip into the air, if you hold down the jump button the stalker does a super jump, you can also stop reeling in critters and drag them around or pull them in slightly and drag them into an enclosure or to hold for a friend to tame the critters. It can also wall climb and if you drink beer the bloodstalkers names change funny for a bit. It also has a melee attack and its great for getting orvis.

Hello my friends i have tested some dinos to increase efficiency of the bloodstalker and i can say that the moschops is good. But i have better results with other dinos like the scorpion and horse. Haven’t tested with a encreased hp of those but can say is better than moschops, and very easy to tame.
I wonder if you had pre-damaged (tenderized) the moschops if they would have given the same % increase and thusly tamed it a bit faster since you wouldn't be waiting for them to die.
This method just makes it so you don't need as much blood, you still get a 225 with blood only. To avoid the swarm just have your inventory menu open during the taming.
A moschops huh? Finally it's not useless considering how useful the bloodstalker is, I'd say it's the best tame in the whole game... and they were nerfing the gremlin lookalike

@synthia those stats you have are fantastic. Your top health is way better than mine. Unfortunately, no, none are 150 bases, all of the breeder females were 130-145, I literally never saw a 150 yet (I was starting to believe they didnt exist). You wont believe this, but that 700weight I have is on a LOW level female. If I'm not mistaken it was a level 90 pre-tame, I'll check later. Somehow is just rolled nearly all point into weight. I cant imagine a good weight rolled 150, probably like 900 base I imagine.
@@megusta2620 yeah my weight is 47 lvls in so yours has to be around 50 and that's absolutely incredible, especially for the low lvl! Keep in mind, my dinos are max lvl 180 so I have a bit of an advantage, if I get a stat around 50 lvls in that's very high for me. And don't worry about lower than max ones, I tamed 2x 180 bloodstalkers and both were complete trash and waste of my time, that was fun. A 168 ended having 46 lvls in that nice health and 46 in melee at the same time, that was a catch, right there!
The recent patches had to have nerfed the population horrifically and now they are nearly impossible to find. An hour plus covering the entire bog and scanning187 giant trees, only saw one lvl 55. Thanks Ark

Those new taming methods are awsome, also for the other new Creatures, i hope they change some of the old creatures as well, because i think everyone was kind of bored of the old "knock out and feed" methods. Anyways thanks for this great guide and the work you put into testing, wich tames work the best, saves me alot of time :D
After some hundred tames ... well i have to admit i am kind of bored of it n.n' But i fully agree on the passiv tame regarding the megachelon, that was the most annoying passive tame i ever did and i won't ever do that again ..... xD
I found out that the Stalker doesn't eat every tamed critter in Bog. For example it didn't like my prickly Dilos but it zapped my poor Moschops as soon as it came in range. Picky bastard xD
i tried this and after 1 moschops it refused to take any more, when i did some for science, the level did change the % gain for the bloodstalker, low level gave 2-4% max level gave 9%
So it's super close to what you do with a Troodon, only you don't need something ridiculous, like a wyvern, to pull it off. Good job Noobs for suffering the loss of your partners for the sake of taming efficiency.

just so everyone knows you don't need the blood in your hot bar it will just take it from your inventory
it makes it easier to see how much it has eaten and what's left if it is on your hot bar, so it's a great idea

@I I did it multiple times like this now. Just make sure any swarm nearby is killed on ground before going up.

Synthia with 150 dinos i got muts on small tribes now 4.2k hp 2.7k stam 355 melee and 700 weight

On my single player server, I noticed that after changing the egg hatching speed, the taming speed of the stalker decreased.
