Thank you very much sir... Tomorrow I have my structural analysis-ll exam and I had a doubt in taking value of [b]matrix... after seeing your video my doubt is clear now...pls do upload many more videos regarding civil subjects
Good evening sir..i have one doubt in this video in making primary structure(statically determinate). You are introducing a roller support as hinged for making statically determinate. But actually formula is (vertical reaction + end moment- ) so if we make fixed support as hinged the end moment can be reduced i accept it but introducing roller as fixed means if we apply in formula there will be vertical reaction anyways so in finding DSI we are not taking moment over there so it will be as statically determinate only? Can you clear me this please
Hi , At intermediate support there is no support moment. But at intermediate support the moment is due to continuity of the beam. That is why we are not taking it in calculating Static indeterminacy. The moment released at B is Bending moment which is due to continuity of beam not due to support. If support was not there then also their will be moment. I hope I cleared your doubt.
F* are the forces resulting from the given off node forces/external forces. We start with a wrong assumption that all supports are fixed. Hence there will be difference in the Fixed end moments at intermediate supports generally. To make them equal and opposite we apply the moment difference where there is need. Similarly at simply supported end the final moment must be zero. Apply the moment in the required direction to make it as zero. These resulting values are F1* and F2*, the forces resulting from the given external forces. Thank you.
after searching so many video finally got this video..this video helped me a lot..thank you sir
Thank you so much sir never understood in class now iam completely cleared with all doubts
Super and well defined explanation sir
Explain the process of analyzing a bean with sinking by flexibility matrix method

Thank you sir
Sir but here how to take systematic force f* values
In primary structure, What F* denotes sir? How come 150 knm at B, in Anti clock wise direction? Also how come 150 kNm at C anticlock wise direction..

Doing is nice but solve the ies and gate questions usefulness
Thank you. Will try shortly.
