Honestly I had a similar feeling when I first started hearing heylog. My wife was obsessed before I was, so she would play his music, and my complaints were usually the same when she asked my opinion; it came off as amateur-ish, it felt like there were so many places where he would shove lyrics into rhythms that didn't really feel cohesive. It used to give me a "early teenager writes his first song" vibe. I think the more he's grown on me, though, and the more obsessed I get with the creativity, the more I've grown to appreciate the uniqueness in the approach.
I requested this one and yeah my name is Muhammad Azhad. My absolute favourite although I'm just a student thanks a lot papa squat for still reacting to this! Love from Malaysia Edit : I do understand where you are coming from for the song, it's subjective after all and some ppl don't really like it and some really love the song. For me the background, the 2nd and 3rd voices are so well put tgt and compliment each other in this song. Interesting to hear your take on one of my favorite Heylog songs. I can see where your coming from but I think the disjointedness of the song helps play into the feelings and message of the song. Idk just my take at least.
@@papasquat08 id much rather have my favourite youtuber give honest thoughts than fake emotions, so i think we all completely understand :) me personally i think i enjoy the song so much just due to how relatable the lyrics are, even if they are pretty desperate i just relate to them 😭 also keep in mind this songs fairly old compared to his newer songs and his production has improved so much since 2020, so i definitely agree that this song might not stand out or seem too special compared to his newer ones :)

A part of the draw to me for heylog is that the music is primarily a story *and* feeling first
