My father and I play tarkov together. He rarely pmc's but loves scav running shoreline. He currently is sitting on 55.4 Mill rouble without flea and has so far hit level 10 just by doing transfer daily's. After watching this I suddenly understand the power of a scav run. Great vid
On Saturday I unlocked the flea with exactly this strategy (I've been treating this wipe as an experiment to see if this was possible/how difficult it would be). My stash value is over 80 million with 22.5 million in cash roubles. I also have 3 slicks, two altyns with face shields, 4 ammo cases, a grenade case, 5 scav junk boxes etc It's been a lot of fun tbh. The only map I've run my scav on is Streets
Keep in mind you can see the value of your scav's loadout in the character tab. It can help with deciding whether to speedrun factory or choose another map

Respect you for grinding the 20mill on each map, instead of extrapolating the data from a much smaller data set. You did an awesome job sharing your finding. I give the video a thumbs up and look forward to more of your content. I solely run Streets on my scav and feel like I could easily make more than the rate you are describing but just my opinion no data to compare.
Great video! I scav reserve almost exclusively for many wipes now. And this video showed I was making the right choice :) Now to make my friend watch it cause he swears streets is the way. We spend way too much time running from place to place on streets, almost always die, and have to suffer with 25 fps making combat near impossible. And almost all big loot areas are empty due to the amount of players you are racing to fight for loot
You cant loot it as a pmc lol, thats everyones mistake. I survive like 10-15 raids between each death and come out with 1 mil average and 3 mil for crazy raids
For lighthouse, I think the beach heading to southern road is underrated for scav runs. There is 6 stashes you can hit relatively quickly without going out of your way plus a lot of good tool spawns. If I scav into lighthouse with a big bag I will try to hit resort/chalet if I'm close then head out the southern beach to southern road landslide and it's usually completely uncontested and takes about 15 minutes.
i have a similar route depending on where i spawn and if i have path. If i spawn down south by the cabins i will hit the staches and loot going south and then looping around and up to hit the chalets and the staches on the way to path. If i spawn all the way north, I loot the werehouse and then try and kill the rogues before hitting either path or the grotto
I always do streets. I almost never run into PMCs and sometimes come across like 6 bodies from some PMC fight and whoever won never took any of the loot so I just clean up and bring like 4 meta guns out.
Giving a thumb up here because it's so well deserved! I started playing 5 days ago, and hit level 12 earlier today, and ya boi has been STRUGGLING with what I should be doing on scav runs, even though I prefer it to PMC raids, so this has been fantastic in giving me some direction thank you
Thank you!! Yeah I prefer PMC runs as well, scaving is so terribly boring but I thought it was interesting to get some data on how efficient the scav runs actually are! I'll do another test like this every wipe to see if things change up much
Thanks very much mate! If you can think of any mistakes I made with how I ran the experiment let me know and ill try to fix them for the 3 retests to 50mill :)
Ground Zero is the best map for a number of reasons, but the biggest one is that as the wipe progresses, single slot items gain insane value. You can sell nuts or bolts for $30k. I’ve seen metal parts go for $40k at certain times of the day. GZ has a ton of food everywhere as well. You can easily find chocolates which go for $50k, cereal goes for $30k which is about $15k per slot. You can easily fill your bag and be out in about 7 minutes. If you’re good at pvp I recommend shoreline. Rush the health resort and camp the third floor of west or east wing. 1 well placed shot can easily net you a full loadout.
If there wasn't any cheaters, and you have the needed map knowledge to survive on streets, I'd say streets is the best... found 2 btc in jackets in 5 scavs there, both times I immediately got killed by other player scavs that miraculously knew what I had on me. One came screaming "BITCOIN" from hundreds of meters away... they are just infesting this game and have 0 skill it even took them several shots to kill me... ^^ sadly my gun jammed
they need to increase the penalty for scav killing scav to the point that you can no longer scav for an entire day. Also yea, cheaters are all over the place, lvl 8 new account hitting me and my friend and a third party from over the wall in the dark without termals also running like meta gear. Yea sure buddy.
I found a marked key worthed 2mil I was heading to mall extract which is somewhat dangerous, then some random player scav threw a nade at me across the road then head shot me for no reason. Quite funny.
literally happened to me 2 days ago, found a gpu at the usec building, then 5 minutes later a PMC sprinted up to my building and asked for it. He killed me as I tried to run from him since I had a crappy gun lmao. His stats indicate he's a rage cheater.
Shoreline is pretty sweet. I usually play at 1am during the week. So you can make bank by hitting the smuggler compound as a player scav and extracting thru old bunker. It helps more if you got the 30% flea reduction.
Your data-driven breakdown of the looting results on each map & explanation of the variables that are always at play in-raid was super easy to follow and intriguing to watch imho. This as well as your 28 Looting Tips video have taught me loads.. I think the community could really benefit from more folks making helpful content like yours 🙌
Thank you!! Glad you learnt a lot from the videos! I'm passionate about providing data-driven content but it just takes so long to get the data haha I'll be doing more in future!
If you scav factory there are about 10-15 weapon crates that are usually not looted. I make at least 250-400k roubles a raid by selling the good stuff on the flea market. Easy in and out and you're able to hop right back on your pmc.
amazing info. ive ran most of my pve scav runs on factory and interchange, but ive recently noticed on reserve i was getting super juiced loot with very little pmc interactions. i mainly loot d2 area but will try to go through pretty much any building quickly on my way down there. there are raiders sometimes and they can be a bit iffy but other than that ive been consistantly getting much more loot there than anywhere else so far. that being said streets has seemed good, just too much risk with how much the pmc's roam there, not to mention how much you have to walk usually to get anywhere important.
I love running shoreline, almost no pmcs, I go from either cottages/village to scav island, then pier, then road to customs to finish it off, averaging about 300k profit and maybe some extra goodies
When you were trying to work out what your strategy for reserve was going to be I did tell you I was pretty confident reserve was the way to go. what makes it work is how close you always are to an extract, so you can pull the pin at any time as soon as you fill up whatever you spawn with. and there is reasonable loot close to every spawn.
I used to be a factory rat, and then I went to interchange. Now, I am a giga-brained Reserve scav enjoyer. Reserve has ridiculously good ammo finds, mostly in 5.45, so early wipe it's a dream. It's also not really that bad in terms of PMCs. Sometimes you get campers and snipers, but I have an 80% scav extract rate.
I use to main Reserve for the longest time on scavs, the last couple months I’ve switched to Streets and it’s been loads better comparing them. I’d say about every other scav on reserve I was being killed by pmcs and I haven’t died once on streets besides one rogue scav.
My fave maps to scav on now tend to be streets and GZero. Having karma 6 on both allows you to unleash your full potential. Always enjoy setting up scav ambushes, ect and working with the bosses for big pay days.
Early wipe I'd scav Reserve for flash drives - typically hit both Black & White Knight to check the PCs and the filing cabinets, then up to checkpoint for those filing cabinets and extract. Later wipe I'd scav all of the tanks looking for a tank battery. But my main scav run was caches & stashes on Woods ending with a visit to sunken village & scav bunker if I had bunker or bridge extracts. OTOH my raid buddy would do multiple Factory scav runs each day, just running to extract. This meant by the end of wipe his scav timer was minimal and he often spawned in with valuable loot.
I personally love scav running shoreline for 3 main reasons: 1. I dont have to deal with many pmc's by the scav island and the pier, which is the route i take. 2. Im not competing with many other scavs on my favorite route (pray that I spawn by the blue fence, loot the stash in the barrels, then run along the beach and loot pier and any other stashes.) 3. I can get a decent amount of loot (i once got 600k roubles) for my skill level (im still level 4 after a few weeks because im terrible at this game)
The thing with reserve is although the loot is generally bad, it’s just guaranteed to be safe because everyone is in the underground bunker. If you want to make big bucks and don’t mind the risk, I would argue there are better maps, if you have high rep and get good kits go factory.
On streets, I literally just run straight to filing cabinets and loot for construction/barter items/quest and labs keys as they sell fast and are consistent on price. Most pmc’s won’t touch filing cabinets and are in high risk, high value or quest areas. If I get a small bag or rig, I’ll look for bodies then run for the cabinets and dip. Weapon attachments sell slow and sifting through ammo to flea usually gets you ammo that you can’t post on flea. The faster you clear a stash of nails, bolts, etc, the faster back into raid and faster your flea score climbs, the more you can sell. It’s a great way to make a steady income. Notable cabinets are the bank on primorsky, the tech pass through (primorsky to 4 story mail), the cabinets between “the door” and skybridge bar and cabinet room corner of cinema and industrial. If cabinets are picked clean, hit the pharmacy and med spawns. They sell just as fast for just as much. Try to loot similar items. Play pairs, not flushes. Only x amount of flea slots? List in bulk.
I scav exclusively on Reserve. In my experience the biggest benefit is the number of extracts and the relatively low risk of death. The loot can be really bad if the dynamic loot system rolls badly. Entire rooom with no loot that can otherwise have 2-5 spawns in them. Very hit and miss, especially at night. But, I loot a lot of geared PMCs there, I farm the rogues, and I have a pretty good set of safe runs to do depending on spawn that equate to earning about 20 million every few days for me.
Depends what you wanna do right? Need military loot for container? Go for Lighthouse. Need scav karma? Go for Ground Zero or Factory. I it isnt just about the money.
Night time Interchange has been the most lucrative for me this wipe. Very low pmc/ player scav count = higher chance for rare loot spawns such as the bitcoin locker and GPU's. Fair chance at finding pmc corpses around Killa spawns also for a bit juicier loot and likely a bigger backpack
It would be interesting to see this data focusing exclusively on stash runs. I know that stashes can spawn anything which is why it's a gamble. But on some maps like customs, you can run most if not all of the stashes in a raid virtually uncontested by anyone else.
Reserve is really diverse too, if you have a crappy scav loadout you can just rush communications bunker (d2 power switch area) and either 1. Fight PMC's that took their sweet time getting out 2. Fight raiders that were never taken out or 3. Loot dead PMC/Raider bodies and the rest of the bunker where some of the more juicy loot of Reserve tends to be. If you have a great loadout, extracts are fairly easy to get to as long as you take back routes and stay out of the sight range of any radar station snipers. Plenty of loot on the outside ring of reserve to hit even then. Its by far my favorite map to scav on but one of the ones I rarely do a PMC run on, besides questing.
Yep absolutely, I've lately been PMC running it a lot more trying to get comfortable and it's been pretty good, maybe just the player base falling off like normal making the raids quieter and easier
WOODS,my reason are simple, easy to get alot of money, and also it is really easy to survive because woods scavs work together and I have actually work more times with PMCs in woods,I really prefer it alot
Reserve is just drowning in filing cabinets for example. It makes Reserve feel super safe and consistent. Most PMCs try and get into the bunker area or marked rooms. So they tend to not lurk around various buildings besides the barracks. More likely to see a PMC at bishop buildings at the start of a raid. So when you scav in at middle to late raid, most are dead or underground. It also has a nice bonus of being able to get the loot of already killed raiders if you happen to go to an area they hang around. No other map has raiders besides labs so there kits are a nice snag if available. Lighthouse is super risky as a scav to get Rogue loot, so raiders being on Reserve is a nice bonus. Reserve being the capital city of the rat empire also helps scaving. Scav extracts are FAR more safe than the PMC ones and more varied. I imagine most players go to reserve for tasks and/or marked room runs and to get out asap. Being forced into either Train, bringing no bag, Hermetic and D-2 prolly makes PMCs not engage in as much general looting as they would on other maps. At least until they get a red rebel and even then it is often camped as well.
Well we need to remember that most maps if you know it and where to run to get good loot like woods he didn't take a lot of really good scav spots, witch will ofc take down the rubels/h This will be the same for all maps not specifically woods. Just wana say that the vid is awesome and i really liked it and its well made so don't take me wrong
I used to scav like 25% of my raids last wipe but this wipe that numbers has got to be like 35-40% because I realized at the start of this wipe that max fence rep basically is infinite money with the short cooldown and unique items you can buy.
This is interesting, since I always hear "Let's go to streets, because the loot is so good", but it severely lags behind here. I love ground zero, because it's fun to fight timmies with shitty scav kits. I have the experience, but they have the gear.
I love the Scav'ing aspect of EFT and fail to explain it no newer players to this day. Friends always are flabbergasted when i pull 1-2 mil out of a scav. OFC its a lucky run. Problem now, especially in EU is that in 3 of 4 raids, theres just nothing left. I just ran my scav interchange run twice with the same loot target as yours, and because this is nowadays broadly known as the "standard" run, there was hardly anything left. With a 15+ minute cooldown, which is more realistic for most newer and/or low level players, 1mil per hour is more realistic, but its even less because especially my guys keep dying on scav runs alot unfortunately. Making big bank on scavs needs deep map/game knowledge, a bit of luck, and a feeling of what type of raid you just got spawned in. But sub 1000hr players are gonna have a hard time. Great vid, gonna share it with them, ticks most boxes. thx edit: PS: Reserve is my go-to for making bank, only Lighthouse was better for some time after its release but i feel the loot got a bit nerfed on LH nowadays. I had a 2 year hiatus so I know nothing about Streets, so thats gonna be my next challenge.
@@ChucklesTV The biggest issue is inventory space imho - i stopped telling new players to go hunt raiders if they spawn with a TOZ and no backpack lol. No backpack scavs are rough with INT lvl1 and 20+ minutes timer. I have troubles myself with such a loadout and sometimes struggle to find a body with a bp. Mby im jaded but I throw most of em into the deep end and tell them to go Reserve until they stop dying. Route: White Knight (jackets) - Black Knight (jackets, 7 cabinets, 4 PCs) - W. Bishop (if they need salewa/morphine) - B. Bishop drop down room - and quickly check Queen GPU spawns if they feel lucky (its 90% vacuumed in EU) - I personally scaved dozens of GPUs on Reserve, but the map is and always will be an unforgiving hellhole. Thats for those who are notoriously broke. For absolute beginners Customs/Woods is a good idea but not for money but for learning looting basics, reading web maps on a second monitor/smartphone/tablet, how to find extracts, the maps themselves for early questing ecetera. The best, or easiest, map in my opinion to learn scaving, inventory/time management, is probably Interchange (also everything they need for early hideout, meds in mantis, food in goshan etc) And if people need a kit for a PMC run I tell them to scav nighttime Lighthouse and check the mounted guns on the roofs. If PMCs cleared water treatment not many of them loot the gunners, so its fairly easy to get a kitted gun with decent-ish ammo out of it. But like I mentioned after the handful of raids i did on Streets I feel like its probably a goldmine, BSG did boost loot on the newest maps in the past, and Streets seems to have a bit of "everything" - although its a big map with shit performance, probably not suited for beginners and all im doing is guessing. Have no clue about Streets, but it seems rough.
@@ChucklesTVi had a 5-6 year tarkov hiatus. Woods and customs was the most confusing and annoying to run around on, and actually found streets to be quite easy to learn although big. Lighthouse is good too.
Honestly woods scav can be pretty good if you just hit old sawmill and the ground caches there all the way up to sunken and then to scav bunker and if you have time then check pmc camp. Night scavs are the way to go
ground zero is the map I go to pretty often when I have a big bag mainly due to the insane of amount of dead scav bodies even though there is basically no chance of rare loot on that map the sheer amount of random loot from bodies and the occasional player adds up quick
I don’t like scaving prefer doing pmc if I’m ever broke I just scav factory and run to exfil easy 100k from gear you might get labs card etc or loot the bottom from of office there’s like 3 tool boxes med bag etc just perfect for the small bags you spawn in with then hit safe and exfil usually about 300k also I get an air filter 1-3 runs from looting under medbay it’s profitable for short time raids with no risk almost
In 3 wipes, since streets came out, ive found streets to be the best. Its not even close. If you're lookong for GPUs, Intel, bitcoin, streets is the best. If youre looking for barter items, then there might be other maps better but the amount of cabinets on streets is insane. My best run i got a GPU, intel, Moonshine and 2 labs cards. I rarely die on Streets, dont think i have died this wipe. But i also avoid shots completely, so much so as turning around completely if i hear them. Last wipe, i found a ton of high gear unlooted PMCs and were able to run Trooper bags without having to buy any the last month of wipe. But last wipe was short and weird so maybe that had something to do with it. 2 wipes ago, i ran scav about 90% of the time. I cant remember the last time ive ran a scav this wipe tbh. But this is the first wipe im going for Kappa so id rather complete quests than make rubles, even though i have 30 million and am sitting on 15 bit coin.
Chuckles if you dont mind,I got a small request, could you make a guide for looting interchange?Aiming to fast and valuable looting and another part aimed towards peaceful looting with least chance of entering pvp.I keep checking other content creators and they usually just recommend the usual stores etc,Im sure a brilliant guy like you know a thing or two and have some advices wise for that.
As a new player, this wipe I made more money than my veteran friends simply by spamming reserve on scav. I had multiple runs that got me like 2 mill plus a raid.
1 of the best way is to scav in Reserve then quickly rat at D2 to take out those PMCs who leave late. Then loot the buildings around the heli and get out juiced.
Yeah me too, I'm going to main it as a PMC for a hundred mill or so then once I've learnt all the gold spawns I'll try fitting in a scav test before the economy goes nuts with wipe hype
No offense to you but it’s definitely about routes as well. Streets is easily number one depending how you do it. If you hit post office, the little computer room with a dead scav in the middle going from post office to astronaut building, astronaut building and navigation. Just hit those over and over and it’s easy money. Gpu 1/3 raids normally and bitcoin 1/7 roughly.
Doesn't surprise me that Interchange and Reserve are the top 2. I'd be willing to bet that if you ONLY ran the interchange garages, rather than running around inside the mall, the value would be even higher. Which is also to say that I think that the main variable in these runs is the locations that you're looting. THe Garages in Interchange are rarely traversed by PMCs by the time player scavs start to spawn. There are upwards of 50 weapon/black items/thicc items cases under the mall probably that same amount of duffel bags/med bags. You can go 10 raids there without ever seeing another player. Turn those into night time raids (since it's a mall, the underground is illuminated) and you go probably 2x that amount. I've been using Reserve and the Interchange garages as my main money makers for almost 10 wipes.
reserve became much safer after the D2 addition. it used to be very nice sniping map, with very cool PVP zoning, but with D2 and the new prapor quest to kill raiders in underground, PMCs never show up, leaving all the sweet sweet loot untouched.
Streets and Reserve seem to be the best these days for me. Interchange for weapons/gear by running parking garage bonus if anything is left in the mall. Customs once in a while pays off huge if you can get to a untouched piles of PMC bodies at dorms/fortress. I never Scav woods/shoreline/factory/ground zero. GZ would just seem like an utter waste of time....where is there even good loot? Lighthouse was a go to first few wipes it existed for me. Before they added everything at the lighthouse it was a gold mine for me. Its 50/50 now.
Two requests: Could you please make a video showing what to loot on reserve? I have little to no knowledge on the map... Also, how would be this run on groundzero now that they tweaked the loot spawns on lv 20+ matches?
I drew little boxes around the buildings on the map that I loot, go to those buildings and loot everything in there. Or you can watch the full VOD I linked in the description of my reserve test and actually watch me loot those buildings. For GZ I have no idea, I'll retest next wipe and we'll see
@@spxdel8520 yeah fair - my servers are basically devoid of PMCs, OCE/Asia is essentially the rat region :D and my ping is too high to connect anywhere else
How do you keep making it outta reserve!? I keep going in and doing your route only stay in for like 5-10 mins but I keep fuckin dying to snipers, campers, or just not having an extract thats not across the entire map. Just struggling to get out 1/5 runs and was wondering if you had any tips? Thanks
Full vod of reserve run is posted in description - assuming a 5.5min CD, 2min queue, my average extract time was 4.9minutes. Also I have max karma so i have every extract every raid, maybe work on karma first?
9:25 Correct formula for calculating TotalCD is: (Cooldown*TotalRaids)-1=TotalCD. To run 2 raids you only have to wait for 1 cooldown, to run 5 raids you only have to wait for 4 cooldowns, 10 raids is 9 cooldowns etc. If you run 27 raids, that’s only 26 cooldowns worth of wait, given that you begin the experiement with 0 cooldown. This is commonly known as the ”fence post problem” and one of the greatest (or worst) mistakes caused by this human error is described in this video here (fast forward to 3:30): : m.ruclips.net/video/FAdmpAZTH_M/видео.html. Great vid tho, really slept on reserve. Now imma go get that bag!
i feel like that was a pretty major flaw in this experiment. I get a lot of my high value items looting caches on my scav runs and i sometimes plan my route around them@@ChucklesTV
@@ChucklesTV a few wipes ago I started to run my scav on reserve and I fell in love. I didn't know how to play the map on pmc so I was afraid to run it. Now every wipe I try to get RR asap to make extracting less of a hassle. With the marked room changes, it's a huge money map for pmc money runs
Shoreline is the best, it constantly has the best loot, apart from labs. I don’t think you have enough map knowledge to know where the gold spawns and high tier loot is, because your map rankings are not accurate to which one has the best consistent loot.
Something unmnetioned by chuckles, if you try Reserve in South America you will experience a lot of betrayals and inferior loot rates, a lot of south america players do scav runs on reserve.
These videos are good and usually i dont listen to tarkov creators but u really back it up with stats. Any chance you could do a video on ping abuse? I'm a European player and when I'm farming money (or playing late) I'm playing on servers with 200 ping and my survival rate is significantly higher, this could be because the servers are dead but i get a a lot of kills sprinting through doors like an idiot. When i play on europe i feel as though people holding angles have an advantage.
Thank you! I'd love to but it's far out of my area of expertise, I'd need to study up on networking/servers/routing to start with and my net isn't stable enough for accurate testing :(

Thank you my frens ❤️❤️ Looks like it's the same case as ARMA 3, you can't make the game run buttery smooth, you can just compensate with better hardware and optimize the settings and make it run somewhat less bad😅

Yeah time of day has a massive effect on efficiency i think !
This is insanely comprehensive, thanks for all the effort!
You're very welcome!
During the run I was hitting a lot of weapon crates but so many were already looted, there were heaps of other p scavs
amazing info. ive ran most of my pve scav runs on factory and interchange, but ive recently noticed on reserve i was getting super juiced loot with very little pmc interactions. i mainly loot d2 area but will try to go through pretty much any building quickly on my way down there. there are raiders sometimes and they can be a bit iffy but other than that ive been consistantly getting much more loot there than anywhere else so far. that being said streets has seemed good, just too much risk with how much the pmc's roam there, not to mention how much you have to walk usually to get anywhere important.
I love running shoreline, almost no pmcs, I go from either cottages/village to scav island, then pier, then road to customs to finish it off, averaging about 300k profit and maybe some extra goodies
Nice safe way to make a small bit of money for sure
with current loot tables
for money - streets
for valuable technical loot - lighthouse (and also gears from rogue USECs)
fair - but did you see the data?
When you were trying to work out what your strategy for reserve was going to be I did tell you I was pretty confident reserve was the way to go. what makes it work is how close you always are to an extract, so you can pull the pin at any time as soon as you fill up whatever you spawn with. and there is reasonable loot close to every spawn.
Haha I had 10+ people swear by every map mate, nothing helps without evidence.
I’d say about every other scav on reserve I was being killed by pmcs and I haven’t died once on streets besides one rogue scav.
dude if you loot the ration crates by bunker hermatic, helicopter and black bishop you find so much alyonka and sugar. free money tbh
My fave maps to scav on now tend to be streets and GZero. Having karma 6 on both allows you to unleash your full potential. Always enjoy setting up scav ambushes, ect and working with the bosses for big pay days.
reserve is better but streets and gz are more fun
I personally love scav running shoreline for 3 main reasons:
1. I dont have to deal with many pmc's by the scav island and the pier, which is the route i take.
2. Im not competing with many other scavs on my favorite route (pray that I spawn by the blue fence, loot the stash in the barrels, then run along the beach and loot pier and any other stashes.)
3. I can get a decent amount of loot (i once got 600k roubles) for my skill level (im still level 4 after a few weeks because im terrible at this game)
I think those are valid reasons, hope you keep enjoying the game! There is sooo much to learn
Yeeep a lot of good tips, flea score is so helpful, just hit 6 offers and it's so nice
I it isnt just about the money.
wish my pops was still alive he would of loved to play this with me. he loved borderlands and all the top games on xbox 360
Night inter on my servers (oce/asia) is filled with randoms camping dark corners
It would be interesting to see this data focusing exclusively on stash runs. I know that stashes can spawn anything which is why it's a gamble. But on some maps like customs, you can run most if not all of the stashes in a raid virtually uncontested by anyone else.
Cache runs on every map are minimum 1m/hr topping out at around 2.5m/hr but actual data would be interesting.
As a pmc its the best map to get meta kitted guns, you just go in with mp9n and cheap kit and if you kill a player in bunker it will likey be meta
@@ChucklesTV Good point! IIRC we are in 6-ish month wipe cycles now, only at the tail end of month 3 and folks have fallen off hard...hate to see it
That saddens me. I typically strictly play Reserve as PMC and always scav there as well.
Reserve is my favorite all around raid. As a scav theres lots of loot, lots of pmcs to fight, even fun raiders to fight in bunker and in trainyard.
Shoreline isn’t the greatest raw mil per hour, but I find it so much more survivable as a scav, when that’s taken into account it’s all I scav
This is something I noticed with my PMC runs as well, survivability on shoreline has been a huge factor for me getting lots of rubles
Well we need to remember that most maps if you know it and where to run to get good loot like woods he didn't take a lot of really good scav spots, witch will ofc take down the rubels/h
This will be the same for all maps not specifically woods. Just wana say that the vid is awesome and i really liked it and its well made so don't take me wrong
Yep which is why in my uncontrolled variables section I talked about my map knowledge not being equal across the board.
I used to scav like 25% of my raids last wipe but this wipe that numbers has got to be like 35-40% because I realized at the start of this wipe that max fence rep basically is infinite money with the short cooldown and unique items you can buy.
Damn dude you litterally revealed my go to scav run :D
oof sorry
Good guide, no click bait. Gaved you a sub.
Hey, you're really good at this whole video production thing. Well done, new sub!
Thanks mate! Slowly learning and improving
Great vid, gonna share it with them, ticks most boxes. thx
edit: PS: Reserve is my go-to for making bank, only Lighthouse was better for some time after its release but i feel the loot got a bit nerfed on LH nowadays. I had a 2 year hiatus so I know nothing about Streets, so thats gonna be my next challenge.
Yeah I completely agree 1mill/hr for newer players on scav is probably a safe bet, I wonder what the easiest map to teach a new player to scav on is
@@ChucklesTV The biggest issue is inventory space imho - i stopped telling new players to go hunt raiders if they spawn with a TOZ and no backpack lol.
The best, or easiest, map in my opinion to learn scaving, inventory/time management, is probably Interchange (also everything they need for early hideout, meds in mantis, food in goshan etc)
And if people need a kit for a PMC run I tell them to scav nighttime Lighthouse and check the mounted guns on the roofs.
Great work, subbed!
Your voice soothes me like nothing else. Love your content, keep up the great work!
Haha thanks
I love these In-depth videos, You've definetly earned my sub. Keep it up.
Thanks for the sick map
wow man, hats off to you, this is a very well thought out and dedicated experiment you've shared with us.
Thanks mate
Honestly woods scav can be pretty good if you just hit old sawmill and the ground caches there all the way up to sunken and then to scav bunker and if you have time then check pmc camp. Night scavs are the way to go
Thank you for testing this all for us!
You're very welcome! Hope it helps!
Absolutely smashed it out of the park yet again!
Amazing work Chuckles!
yeeeeeeeeeeeep me tooo mate i hope i dont get boolied too much by pmcs next time
holy shit instant subscribe dude, insane dedication to get this information out to us
Thanks very much mate !
Insane amount of work, respect man.
ground zero is the map I go to pretty often when I have a big bag mainly due to the insane of amount of dead scav bodies even though there is basically no chance of rare loot on that map the sheer amount of random loot from bodies and the occasional player adds up quick
Very interesting video and very well put together, the spreadsheet bit dragged on a little long though :) Liked and Subscribed!
Thanks! Yeah maybe I could have put that explanation in the actual spreadsheet
Yeah! Will do but it'll take a while
As a new player, this wipe I made more money than my veteran friends simply by spamming reserve on scav. I had multiple runs that got me like 2 mill plus a raid.
Yep reserve scav is crazy
I’m a big fan of reserve depending on the spawn i can make anywhere from 350-1 mil per run depending on how much space i have
1 of the best way is to scav in Reserve then quickly rat at D2 to take out those PMCs who leave late. Then loot the buildings around the heli and get out juiced.
I'd be very interested to see the difference now with the new ground zero loot tables... now you can actually get rare spawns
I've been using Reserve and the Interchange garages as my main money makers for almost 10 wipes.
you're vids are dope. thanks man
Thanks for watching it mate !
reserve became much safer after the D2 addition. it used to be very nice sniping map, with very cool PVP zoning, but with D2 and the new prapor quest to kill raiders in underground, PMCs never show up, leaving all the sweet sweet loot untouched.
Great content, subbed ❤
Thanks
Lighthouse for me - valuables run is so fluid and if you don't find much its easy to farm rogue gear
Thats true but the main problem is everyone else is gradually realising this as well about LH and Streets so its getting more and more contested :D
Where do you find these maps that show you all the extracts, loots, n stuff?
I have 11k+ hours so I just brute force learnt most loot but you can try: tarkov.help/en/
Cool. Glad you did this!
Thanks !
Reserve is amazing if you know it well. Very easy to get gear and items.
For GZ I have no idea, I'll retest next wipe and we'll see
Insane level of work and attention to detail went into this video. Thank you for that! Wonderful production
Thanks ben !
Factory for quick scav rep streets for loot (including getting t5 and 6 plates and good ammo) imo
I kept getting TKed by other scavs while looting kaban so the t5/6 plates were non-existent
@@ChucklesTV i just go hunting for dead pmcs in the hot areas
@@spxdel8520 yeah fair - my servers are basically devoid of PMCs, OCE/Asia is essentially the rat region :D and my ping is too high to connect anywhere else

Excellent video, thanks.
Thanks for watching!
fine work
Thank you
does it mean we should reverse results cause you were playing on australia?
How do you keep making it outta reserve!? I keep going in and doing your route only stay in for like 5-10 mins but I keep fuckin dying to snipers, campers, or just not having an extract thats not across the entire map. Just struggling to get out 1/5 runs and was wondering if you had any tips? Thanks
thats my experience as a pmc for reserve. usually scav runs on reserve are risk free, i never run into pmcs maybe 1/10 raids i died to pmcs
Full vod of reserve run is posted in description - assuming a 5.5min CD, 2min queue, my average extract time was 4.9minutes. Also I have max karma so i have every extract every raid, maybe work on karma first?
@@ChucklesTV @agamer4891 Thank you guys both out!! Ill try again tonight and thank you ill checkout the VOD.
This is commonly known as the ”fence post problem” and one of the greatest (or worst) mistakes caused by this human error is described in this video here (fast forward to 3:30):
: m.ruclips.net/video/FAdmpAZTH_M/видео.html. Great vid tho, really slept on reserve. Now imma go get that bag!
Yeah! Make sense, thanks for the correction
How come you never loot any buried caches? Especially on the new shoreline?
I did loot a few but caches have a much larger variety of loot, I'd prefer more guaranteed value/slot of toolboxes/duffles etc
i feel like that was a pretty major flaw in this experiment. I get a lot of my high value items looting caches on my scav runs and i sometimes plan my route around them@@ChucklesTV
Light house results are definitely biased if you’re dying at water treatment plant half the time lmao
I have always fucking loved reserve, I love this
I've always hated it but this test somewhat made me enjoy it a little more
@@ChucklesTV a few wipes ago I started to run my scav on reserve and I fell in love. I didn't know how to play the map on pmc so I was afraid to run it.
Now every wipe I try to get RR asap to make extracting less of a hassle. With the marked room changes, it's a huge money map for pmc money runs

haha thanks, woods fo sho!
I admire your videos and ideas
Thanks cloud
Can you make a guide for pmc runs? (With keys)
Already have for streets and labs
I like lighthouse I have 4 different routes I take depending upon where I spawn
Shoreline is the best, it constantly has the best loot, apart from labs. I don’t think you have enough map knowledge to know where the gold spawns and high tier loot is, because your map rankings are not accurate to which one has the best consistent loot.
at the converter you meant to say "how much time it would take you (the creator) with our cool down time to make just as much"
Wait, I’m so lost, didn’t he say reserve had no valuable loot that he could find? Or was that a different map?
Ground zero had no valuables, I also list the valuables found in the spreadsheet
Reflect on the fact that factory was..... so fucking good.
cool vid, good stats
Something unmnetioned by chuckles, if you try Reserve in South America you will experience a lot of betrayals and inferior loot rates, a lot of south america players do scav runs on reserve.
Good to know!
Love to Scav ground zero, hate to PMC it
yeah scav runs there are pretty great, so uncontested
These videos are good and usually i dont listen to tarkov creators but u really back it up with stats.
Any chance you could do a video on ping abuse? I'm a European player and when I'm farming money (or playing late) I'm playing on servers with 200 ping and my survival rate is significantly higher, this could be because the servers are dead but i get a a lot of kills sprinting through doors like an idiot.
When i play on europe i feel as though people holding angles have an advantage.
Thank you! I'd love to but it's far out of my area of expertise, I'd need to study up on networking/servers/routing to start with and my net isn't stable enough for accurate testing :(
"I have lived on Streets for 2 wipes"
😮 I'd love to know his specs. I'm considering upgrading my battlestation. I can run all games I play in 1440p 140-180+ FPS, but my metal struggles running EfT 😭
I have a 4090 i13900k 64gbs ram and i play at 1440p, with max settings im getting 90fps to 120fps. Streets just runs poorly for every system
Averaging 80fps with CPU: 5800X3D | GPU: 3070 | RAM: 64gb 3200mhz | MB: B550 | Storage: M.2 3TB
Thank you my frens ❤️❤️ Looks like it's the same case as ARMA 3, you can't make the game run buttery smooth, you can just compensate with better hardware and optimize the settings and make it run somewhat less bad😅
@ChucklesTV I have the same GPU, maybe EfT likes AMD CPUs better? 🤔 other specs are pretty much the same (only 32gb RAM but idk if upgrading to 64gb would make a noticeable difference)
@@RaineErasmusWalker i have max settings so my ram useage may be higher then normal but im not kidding when i say streets can use 40gbs of ram
i usually have the most success in lighthouse, huh, interesting
Could be differences between regions / map knowledge, if you mainly play LH I bet you can farm it more efficiently than me.
@@ChucklesTV Probably, scav runs there almost never result in death and it has some pretty good lootspawns the pmcs dont check
I love interchange always loot hanging around everywhere lol
Pls do a longer lighthouse test
I'll probably do 20mill on each map next wipe then retest the top 3 maps again, if LH is voted in for the retest I'll do it
Don’t know if they’ve changed the loot in ground zero recently but I’ve found 2 GPUs in 3 days of occasional scav runs in capital insight PC Blocks
