Please guys don't get me wrong, I LOVE MADDIE, SHE IS EXCEPTIONAL.... but I was kind of bummed when Talia DID NOT EVEN PLACE, let alone her coming first, because she was just as amazing as Maddie. However, GOOD JOB TO BOTH DANCERS!
I got your point, but Talia's technique was not so good, her feet was not perfect pointed during the turns and her leg was a little low.

Maddie was definitely one of the main stars in the show, it was also noted that she was considered to be the prettiest in some early polls taken of Dance Moms fans. This is one of the things that the P.T.F. flags when conducting investigations into possible child exploitation. The good news is that Abby Lee was early on regarded as a strong advocate for child safety and it was concluded that the frequent use of Maddie on center stage was do less to the choreographing and more to public demand for her appearances. No evidence of ill intent ever surfaced, but if the P.T.F. existed at the time some bad intentions may have come to light.

I'm sick and tired of Maddie getting everything when the rest of her bestfriends act like they aren't jealous ...i really want abby to be better than who she is right now and step up and push the ones that aren't doing great because Maddie is doing better than great but there she is getting all the opportunities being beyond the mountain when her friends are sitting on the streets waiting for theirs!

She does push them. And then they or their mothers complain about the pressure or the kids don't work hard enough and mess it up- and so she leaves them alone and goes back to Maddie. Then they complain about not getting enough attention, so she pushes them some more and the complaints start again. It's a continuous cycle.
paris mahone I’ve seen you up and down this comment section lol. Maddie just doesn’t have time to do tv or RUclips because she, unlike some of the other girls stayed in the industry. She did stuff with the rockets, been on late shows, is working for broadway and is currently still working with Sia. Honestly everyone from the show has come far and you shouldn’t discredit her success because you don’t see her on tv haha

The thing is, she keeps saying Talia is a better dancer than Maddie when it was very clear that she was not. She clearly was a beautiful dancer but it was also very clear that she had a lot of potential to dance a lot better, I feel like if she worked with Abby she definitely could've actually been as good as Kalani.

These shows are very good at spinning things. As much as I think Abby has good dancers, one quick peek bazillions of kids on RUclips would show that not only is there plenty of competition for Maddie, which she needed, but plenty are far better. Either Abby or the producers were smart enough not to enter competitions with the best dancers, and Maddie didn't even have those repeat head-to-head solos against Sophia Lucia like she did with Chloe.
I live in one of the small cities they competed in. Even our good and best dancers were out of town absent from that competition because it was too easy.
Abby's kids are good dancers, but the producers are better at convincing people they are the GOAT. Talia was robbed for the sake of the show.

If talia only practices 25 hours a week that’s about 3 hours a day wtf??Im a dancer and I have dance for 5-8 hours a day so about 40-50 hours a week.Anyone else confused why she barely practices or only me
Talia trains 22 to 25 hours and she looks like she’s older than 8. When Maddie was 8 she was trying 40 to 45 hours a week. Maddie is a lot more committed and that is why she gets more opportunities. She puts herself out there and talia never has
