Yeah, I was expecting more brown in it too. That's why I was surprised I saw even a small difference while mine was spinning. The brown marble though. That's the go-to when I want to listen to this lol and we might be getting another volume! Very exciting.
I love this anime's OST. My favorite song from it has to be Merciless Truth - Love Theme. Obviously 3x3 Eyes came first, but it reminds me of the Braveheart Theme; which I love very much.
Yes! That track is great and when I was looking into 3x3 Eyes I came across articles that mentioned the Braveheart Theme too. I can't unhear the similarities lol
As someone who bought the sub almost exclusively for Hunter Hunter, 3x3 eyes was quite a pleasant surprise! The artwork looks really great. I did hear there were quality control issues with some people's copies (same for devilman), glad yours arrived in seemingly nice condition. Haven't had the time to check mine just yet. As for a recent song of the week, i'd recommend the Shadows House ending by ReoNa. First time i'd heard of her was when she did the Arknights anniversary song, just recently she did the opening to the new Tsukihime adaptation, and now this ending. She's got a bit of an Aimer vibe, i think she will become very popular very quickly.
Both of my copies came in just fine. I don't want to say 'lucky for me' because, I shouldn't be lucky that my records come in fine, they should come in fine lol I did see that though. It looked like TLV jumped on it right away in both fixing the issue and helping those with bad copies. I was already editing while that was happening and it seems to have blew over quickly. Haven't heard any mentions of messed up copies since then. You should definitely check yours though. A lot of what I saw were from the subs. And I really like Aimer! Will definitely be checking out ReoNa.
Yes it's great and Inuyasha ost needs to happen. I thought one for Yashahime was up but it was a 2 CD set in a vinyl jacket packaging. What a tease! lol
it's hard to find ppl that know this manga movie ...cyber city oedo 808 is another one can't find no one that seen this, the soundtracks are fire, love song from 3x3 eyes, and Ninja Scroll had some nice work ...
I've had my eyes on cc oedo 808 for a while now! Been meaning to pick up the Blu-ray. Still have yet to watch it, gotta change that lol and yes, the Ninja Scroll movie soundtrack is good. I know the series had a different composer. I should probably give that a listen and see how they compare 🤔
This is awesome because Inuyasha and 3 by 3 eyes was two of my favorite animes besides Hellsing but the rest of those mangas that was named out I never even heard I want to try to watch them all if there's anything like Inuyasha or 3 x 3 eyes I guarantee they kick ass
Happy to have introduced you to more series Kaoru Wada composed music for! However, they are very different from both Inuyasha & 3x3 Eyes. One that I would recommend checking out, though, is D.Gray Man if you've never seen that one. Also, Hellsing has an awesome soundtrack!

Okay, okay... Fair! OP 2 does deliver on the future funk, jazz, and hip hop sound which is something I wish we heard more of from other OPs 😅
