This isn't just a Minecraft soundtrack playlist. It's a Holy Grail Minecraft Nostalgia soundtrack playlist. Most of the older songs remind me of when I first played Minecraft in 2012.
It’s kinda unnatural how good this video game soundtrack is it seems ominous and ambient but you don’t really realize how incredible it sounds until you really listen to it, I guess in my opinion it sounds official and professional but still unkept and natural just like the game itself is. Best soundtrack of all time
I would Say that the Trinity of holy soundtrack are Minecraft Skyrim and halo.(only my opinion) Minecraft for nostalgia and simplicity wich get me back to 2014 when i was in midshcool. Skyrim for it's ambiance, Fuck the ost of the white elve at the end of the vampire dlc made me cry a few Time. And halo because it also really fit the game and sound Amazing.
You missed one, the Outer Wilds soundtrack. The game is a hidden gem, and the music is so good and fits the game perfectly. Best game I have ever played. I highly recommend checking it out.
God, this is nostalgic. I remember loading up my first world and flying (yes, I was in creative) around looking at everything in awe. Switching to survival a few months later gave me the same feeling. Minecraft is just awesome, in SO many different ways.
I remember I was idk cruch(shift) is I thought was game was Brocken and I stopped playing 😁 good old days (and I was playing game called minicraft free )
Same I remember starting out in creative and wondering why is there all this stuff in my inventory? Did someone put it there? Lol man the good old days. Ever since that first day I have always loved and played Minecraft, and I probably always will
I really like lena raines music, but the old soundtrack has something in it, that perfectly describes minecraft, i think its mostly the piano, its so calm too, and very very nostalgic, the new minecraft doesnt fit with the old songs that much, but that doesnt mean the new minecraft is bad, i like minecraft how it is, and how it used to be. This is pure, liquid nostalgia, filled with memories relaxiation. The soundtrack is a big part of minecrafts succes i think. I hope they make more music that sounds like the old soundtrack, because personally, i like the old soundtrack a bit more, just because of the nostaliga and the calming music
if you ask me, the old music fits the calming nature of Minecraft before caves and cliffs, the new music fits the new exploratory, wonderous and curious new world of Minecraft
wait, after listening the whole thing, i realized that the reason why The End sounds like Minecraft is because, it is the end of Minecraft's storyline like after you beaten the dragon. Thats why.
I don't know how C418 got these songs so magical. This video just takes me out of reality for 4 hours straight. It shouldn't be possible to make music this good.
Nostalgia means "old pain." It's knowing what you once had and knowing it's something that no longer exists. I can't go back to I can't go back to 2012, where villagers were utterly useless and everything seemed so new and strange. Can't go back to 2013, first discovering the animations community. Or 2014, when I had a half dozen friends on a small MC server I played with and talked to every day. I don't know what happened to them, we just kinda drifted apart like so many internet friends until I realized I had no way to find them anymore. Wolfebersahd, Luckynodice, Hikarikuragari, Opticswagger, everyone from Gallus. I never forgot you guys. I was part of something bigger than myself back then and I wonder if that was the happiest I was ever gonna be. Playing with you guys every day, in Minecraft. I miss you.
I remember getting my xbox 360 and popping this game open. Most of the memories were just me building while listing to the music. Such wonderful memories I would love to re-live.

Imagine you sit in your living room, this is on the tv as the fire emits light in the darkness. You go back to that old couch you cry, but their not there, then you remember all the fun times you’ve had with them, it cheers you up..
This brings me back to 2014, when I just got introduced and started on PE, then pc and ps4, it just makes me cry, thinking about it Edit:I’m literally sobbing at this point

Almost none of them are on RUclips anymore.I shed a tear every time I listen to this, based solely on nostalgia. This game is the best game humanity has ever created, and will never be usurped.
Damn bro... I first played minecraft on my ps3 and I had a huge creative superflat world that had so much history of my intrests, and how I've grown over the years, until. My Ps3 broke down, and I lost it all. R.I.P Glenville: 2012 - 2020
I remember just logging onto Minecraft in 2013, hopping on Minecraft with my brother playing survival together. Such simpler times.. The nostalgia of when finding diamonds was such an amazing achievement, or hopping on everyday with your friends to play survival was such an amazing time
this fucking video is just as good as the tracks, love the creativity of the blocks and backgrounds changing! also makes for easy finding out sections. thanks for putting in the most (:
I like any kind of music but something about Minecraft music, maybe the nostalgia connected with it but man when you hear that certain song you'd always jam out to you just feel like you're ascending to a new plane of existence of pure bliss.
I don't usually like to dump personal stuff in comment sections, but I just need to say that this specific video is what helped our family dog sleep during his last few nights. He was losing his hearing, sight, he didn't recognize us half of the time, and he had recently had a stroke. It was getting harder for him to go to sleep, and he would have a sort of panic attack if he was alone. We eventually played this music to try and soothe him, which actually ended up working. Our guess is that he associated the vibrations of the music with the fact that we were there with him, because he would always sleep next to the TV while we were all gathered in the living room watching something. Yesterday was probably the best day he'd had in months. He got tons of pets, treats, wet food, and even a Kit Kat bar near the end. I'm not looking for pity points here, I just want to express my gratitude to the composers and the person who posted this video for making our dog's life a little better in the end
Blind Spots, Moog City 2... Im not a minecraft veteran, i remember how i first joined on 1.8 or something and i heard these tracks, then i saw a server with completely new mechanics for me (special minigames)... Memories...
This music is great . The best times in my life were sitting playing Minecraft with my son when he was 6 or so . I really miss those days . I can’t describe the feeling this gives me . So nostalgic. I would do anything to go back to those times in my life
I remeber loading in minecraft alpha just looking around soon after playing with some friends, minecraft becoming what i didnt know at the time some of my best memories every update dragging my sister into the game playing and losing track of time. Listening to this just makes me want to cry wanting to be a kid again to be 10 and loading up Minecraft would make me so happy I could finnaly lose this stupid depression and be happy just playing Minecrafy my only worries being what I'm having for dinner
I'd like to say something inspirational, but I don't know what. Either way, I hope you the best. It's okay to cry, and the Minecraft community is always there for each other.
It definitely is okay to cry, and I hope you're in a better place in your life now. I play compilations like this, and find I'm not alone. I can play Minecraft for a while and forget the world. You're all here, and I'm luckier than I realised.
@@toohiisbread Alpha or Intro would do the job way better. Aria Math seems more like a music around the middle of the movie or as part of the climax instead of a send off.
Minecraft is both the best game to just sit, relax, listen to the soundtrack, and build alone. as well as make a huge survival worls with your friends. i wish i had friends to enjoy this when i first got it for my 360 but sadly i never got to play the older minecraft with friends. amazing job editing. P.S. i listened to this sound track as i was playing the classic minecraft, you know the one where your stuck in survival and have only your hotbar full of building blocks and it shoves you into a world. i built a house with a dock. . . this comment is long, not looking for attention just getting stuff off my chest as no one in my family cares about videogames or any of my other hobbys.
Minecraft has a very unique vibe about it. Even if you know the game inside out, you cannot help but wonder about its mystery. I love the ambiance, and I love how I associate it as somehting I've played with my closest friends and with my brother, and when I'm totally isolated and playing it alone. Kinda like real life sometimes, one minute you're with a lot of people, next minute it's back to being on your own again
I had the phones on, but went to do something in another room, listening and thinking about the comments regarding the older Minecraft music and the more recent (Lena Horne) music. Some specialist composer might be able to point out why it's so, but the pre Lena Horne music is distinctly Minecraft, even while each track has its own theme. The Lena Horne music is definitely very descriptive, very well done, but it isn't generically Minecraft music. It doesn't have that "unique vibe". It has a vibe, just not "that" vibe.
These feelings of something that was lost as we grow older, just know this, that it was never lost, it had been you along. Missing ourselves instead of being lost in ourselves; command your will and be what you are
I love how The End has small bits of the overworld music and sounds mixed in. It kinda reminds you of all the things you've done, all the things you've built, and everything you accomplished to get to that point, but also still has that mystery to it. Even when defeating the dragon, you're still left with so many question, but those questions don't take away from the overall experience. The game is amazing, and the music is definitely a contributing factor to the amazing experience
I remember the time when I would load up the tutorial mode on our Xbox 360 with my brother and I would be too scared of the night time, so I would hand it over to my brother. I'd watch him play for the time limit until it kicked us off. Then we'd go right back and do it again.
Ballad of the cats is just the nostalgia of entering the nether for the first time. Is still gives me the chills when I have sound on and really high. Edit: warmth does s good job too
I remember the one that was a castle with a farm in the left and a lake on the right. And inside it had a potion room where you had to make fire resistance to go through a lava wall to get a disc, and also the hidden nether portal that was behind a painting on the 2nd floor by the bedroom
I remember my first time playing Minecraft 9 years ago on my moms old laptop that was so slow, this brings many memories back from playing pc, Xbox 360 and PE back in the time where the horse update and update that changed the world just released
Man... My dad set up a minecraft realms world together and we played together while he was miles away. This was when I was little and hearing it all again just gives a sort of warmth in my body. It feels weird.
Minecraft music ,has a sort of empty feeling to them, you’re dropped into an endless sandbox game, alone with nothing but your bare hands, everything is blocky, and the world is left with old remains, from the past ,which is never explained,so mysterious.
Just noticed Chirp randomly hits us with the exact same 5 notes from the beginning of Dire Dire Docks from Mario 64 (2:31:32) I guess it's fitting for such a calming OST
I love "Cat". The world is rabbiting along, worried about this and that, busy with one thing and another, then along comes the very cool self assured Cat melody. I would never have believed I'd say this, but I actually miss that game of wits and skill in the jungle, where you really had to prove you had skill and patience, and, often, a couple of hours free, to catch and tame an ocelot. Now they just rock up in the nearest village and beg. sadge.
Can you believe, years ago, we didn’t see this as nostalgic.. we just saw it as something that was there. Took those old memories for granted. Now us boys get to cry in the corner…
man im tearing up right now I just think of how long ive played minecraft Ive played it for years! The game and the songs are just filled with memories.
reminds me of early days man, loading up the og turtorial creative mode not even out yet, stairs dont bend around corners, half slabs are impossible to place, potions have blue bars under them to show strength, no such thing as tnt explodes or fire spreads, people joining building a house burning your shit then leaving never to be seen again, herobrine seeming real, using skin pack 2 and 3 to have skins of mobs with suits jus like jerome and syndicate, no hunger bar... we have come a longggg way my friends
-Just listening to Subwoofer Lullaby when I got to your comment -just beautiful, just beautiful. Old word, but true. Adulthood music for me, but it still has the magic of memories in it.

I like any kind of music but something about Minecraft music, maybe the nostalgia connected with it but man when you hear that certain song you'd always jam out to you just feel like you're ascending to a new plane of existence of pure bliss.
I remember my first time opening minecraft when i get greeted with moog city 2
I'm going to be honest I love stal so much. The jazz bits are so fun but then the flute comes in and honestly works really well, in a strange way
One of the best compilations on youtube- class job! Real nice visuals too.
Perhaps in future add in Kyoto and Flake?
TASSWELLLLLL IT IS THE BEST 1:24:24
I remember waking up at 5am and getting my tablet and playing Minecraft for hours straight. These songs bring back so many memories.
this video deserves more veiws, by far the most up to date vresion of the soundtrack.
nice job
👌
Does anyone else remember the tutorial worlds? Clark kinda slammed that memory beck into my head. Bruh, that was so fun, those worlds.
i used to explore the one on my xbox 360. i miss it! it's so much better than anything i'll ever build lol
こういうMinecraftの全bgm集みたいなのってなんだかんだ全部じゃなくてモヤモヤしてたけど。
真の全bgmに会えてスッキリしました
I’ve gotten so used to these, I almost block them out in game and then find myself humming to it when I’m doing something calm
That is a beautiful memory, thank you for sharing it. ❤
Blind Spots, Moog City 2... Im not a minecraft veteran, i remember how i first joined on 1.8 or something and i heard these tracks, then i saw a server with completely new mechanics for me (special minigames)... Memories...
I had the best childhood I grew up on this and like early days of gta and forza so the memories are just flying in
This reminds me when I would try building my own vrsion of stampy’s lovely worling on a superflat in creative
Brings me back to the days of playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 with my friend❤️
This music is great . The best times in my life were sitting playing Minecraft with my son when he was 6 or so . I really miss those days . I can’t describe the feeling this gives me . So nostalgic. I would do anything to go back to those times in my life
Mice on Venus has always been so spooky, and it’s my favorite. I’m glad that thanks to you I have learned the name of it. You’re the best
Oh my days this is so nostalgic I would just load up my ps3 world hearing this happily playing my creative world. The memories
Hearing some of theese songs brings back so many memories
раньше было настольгически-грустно, теперь вдумчиво-жизнепроводяще (живёшь и вспоминаешь эту музыку при каких-то делах, историях и т.д
Learning the names of all the songs I've been listening to for years and are my childhood is nice.
Thanks :D
It definitely is okay to cry, and I hope you're in a better place in your life now. I play compilations like this, and find I'm not alone. I can play Minecraft for a while and forget the world. You're all here, and I'm luckier than I realised.
When the minecraft movie comes out, I want at least one of these songs to be at the end as a send off
better be aria math
@@toohiisbread or taswell
Y-You should be famous for this BRO THIS IS SOOOO AMAZING IT BRINGS ME OLD MEMORIES OF BE BUILDING UNEXPECTED THINGS IN CREATIVE MODR
minecraft soundtracks are more calm then original sleep music
mutation is personally my favourite out of them all. its so calming (:
same broooooooooooooo
It’s my favorite song that plays in the main menu
Beginning 2 just hit me with a huge nostalgia slap.
The Sweden part of The End is just perfect.
I remember the time when I would load up the tutorial mode on our Xbox 360 with my brother and I would be too scared of the night time, so I would hand it over to my brother. I'd watch him play for the time limit until it kicked us off. Then we'd go right back and do it again.
I used to play on on Xbox tutorial aswell, now that Xbox is in a box somewhere ,with so many memories in it.
Ballad of the cats is just the nostalgia of entering the nether for the first time. Is still gives me the chills when I have sound on and really high.
Edit: warmth does s good job too
I never realized how well One More Day fits into the soundtrac
it perfectly sounds like a track by C418
13:02 is my favorite by far. Awesome job by the way Attack Doge. This is amazing video.
Anybody else remember the old Minecraft tutorials on the Xbox 360? Those where the best
I remember the one that was a castle with a farm in the left and a lake on the right. And inside it had a potion room where you had to make fire resistance to go through a lava wall to get a disc, and also the hidden nether portal that was behind a painting on the 2nd floor by the bedroom
@@farawaygaming_ was that tutorial also the tutorial word with the stampys world building? I remember the castle
Yea that’s how it all began for me
Now I need is all the ambience in Overworld,Ocean and Nether (even the creepiest ones)
This is not the whole Minecraft soundtrack in one video. It's your childhood nostalgia in one video.
was listening to this and havent realised i was 3 hours in already. Amazing music
I remember my first time playing Minecraft 9 years ago on my moms old laptop that was so slow, this brings many memories back from playing pc, Xbox 360 and PE back in the time where the horse update and update that changed the world just released
i rlly like this soundtrack and i can fall sleep with it thanks for making this!
these musics give me kinda stranger feelings. i cannot explain
Left to Bloom is hands down my favorite of the newer songs.
Man... My dad set up a minecraft realms world together and we played together while he was miles away. This was when I was little and hearing it all again just gives a sort of warmth in my body. It feels weird.
Minecraft music ,has a sort of empty feeling to them, you’re dropped into an endless sandbox game, alone with nothing but your bare hands, everything is blocky, and the world is left with old remains, from the past ,which is never explained,so mysterious.
it really brings back the memories
Just noticed Chirp randomly hits us with the exact same 5 notes from the beginning of Dire Dire Docks from Mario 64 (2:31:32)
I guess it's fitting for such a calming OST
I swear I cry to these songs thinking about the old days
such gorgeous music. my fav games are improved by their amazing soundtracks. so thankful that i can enjoy music and sound.
Bro I am legit absolutely it to cry. I remembers the years of old when I played with my brother and father. The newer times with friends. And the now.
man im tearing up right now I just think of how long ive played minecraft Ive played it for years! The game and the songs are just filled with memories.
i remember the first songs from my xbox music while i played the Minecraft tutorial with my brother. good memories.. :(
reminds me of early days man, loading up the og turtorial creative mode not even out yet, stairs dont bend around corners, half slabs are impossible to place, potions have blue bars under them to show strength, no such thing as tnt explodes or fire spreads, people joining building a house burning your shit then leaving never to be seen again, herobrine seeming real, using skin pack 2 and 3 to have skins of mobs with suits jus like jerome and syndicate, no hunger bar... we have come a longggg way my friends
Sweden, subwoofer lullaby, Minecraft.
Childhood music.
-Just listening to Subwoofer Lullaby when I got to your comment -just beautiful, just beautiful. Old word, but true. Adulthood music for me, but it still has the magic of memories in it.
Using this as background noise while I build a LEGO minecraft moc
Yesterday i played minecraft 1.13 and i heard the song oxegene
Man this brings back so many memories. Makes me wanna cry
This video is my favourite music video to be listened whenever i am doing a writing on my pc
It is so relaxing!
my guy actually took 4 hours of his time just to record the whole Minecraft soundtrack, what a legend,
i have to imagine they just downloaded the music files
An ordinary day is about the inevitability memories fading
this man or doge, he needs more views and likes and subs!!!
A few people think taswell is creepy but its the best song here it is
1:22:10
Infinite amethyst is basically the most comforting track in minecraft and its my favorite
