Editor's Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan's streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan's point of view.

His wife left because he forgot to check the mail for bills, stopped reading to his kids before bed & disappeared for days at a time & she didn’t understand he was ill. He retired with millions yet his house was foreclosed just 18 months after he retired. The only thing he never forgot was to call his daughters every night before bed as they were living with their mom. This is coming from a man who had a photographic memory before CTE, he was undersized for his position so he was always hitting & getting hit high, but he embraced the toughness of football even when he shouldn’t have such as playing in a game that he showed up to in crutches with torn knee cartilage. He tried to talk his son out of playing but his son said he would play with or without help so Mike spent his last years coaching his son even running in drills with him despite his back pain, he showed up to every game for his son even when he was shaking too hard to drive there, he had a heart attack & his son begged him to go to the hospital because his lips were purple & he refused because he didn’t have insurance, his ex wife finally convinced him to let her drive him to the hospital but it was too late & he died at 50. Tate is emotionally stunted. In a bad situation such as his, feelings of fear, disgust, sadness, are too nuanced and difficult emotions to experience and express. So Tate and those like him manifest it as anger in order to feel some semblance of control. Anger without direction becomes hate, and it causes so much bitterness when he sees people deviating from his hateful standards yet leading fulfilled lives. Which is something he is incapable of doing.
