French students occupy Paris university in pro-Palestine protest

- Students at a Paris university resumed their pro-Palestine demonstrations on Friday, just two days after French police broke up a similar protest.
Students at Sciences Po blocked access to a campus building using makeshift barricades, including garbage cans, a bicycle and wooden platforms. Demonstrators also gathered outside Sorbonne University where Emmanuel Macron was set to deliver a speech on Europe.

Because Israel and America bought the Arab countries, but their people are very upset. They promised investments if they recognized Israel, during Trump's term, and distanced themselves from the Palestinian cause.

@@ThomasLindellart There's this thing, called the news, and sometimes they show maps of the area around where something happened.
On top of that, testimony from the festival organizers made it clear that it was moved closer to the Gaza border, and that it was extended another day after the original dates had passed without incident.
Maybe that's meaningless to you, but to me it sounds like the festivalgoers were deliberately used as bait because just attacks on military targets would not be enough to justify an invasion
@@ThomasLindellart years ago I remember people writing similar nonsense about Northern Ireland based on the impressions they’d gotten from coverage of the Troubles on the news. I think you have to go somewhere for a time to really know. I was in Israel in 2014. At the time there was a lot of contention about the wall. Being on the Israeli side of it helped me see their point of view because it felt safer but I also understood it from Gaza’s point of view. I am curious to know how it works though- can people drive through at certain times as with the peace-walls in Belfast?
