BOSS GT-1000 HM2 pedal test. Patch download in description.

Is BOSS's new GT-1000 HM2 pedal as good as the vintage pedal made famous by the likes of Entombed, Entrails, Dismember, LIK and Bloodbath??? It was a very unique metallic buzzsaw sound and definitely does not appeal to everyone, but fans of the early 90s Swedish Stockholm deathmetal will love it!!
After a bit of playing around with it, changing amps and IR's, I think its pretty damn close to the pedal, plus its great having the whole tone in one effects unit, which means you can get rid of the noise that vintage pedal made.
If you've been considering the GT-1000 unit, with the knowledge that this pedal is included in it, i definitely recommend purchasing one. Great effects, great amps and you can upload 4 of your favorite Impulse Responses at any one time to improve it again.
