  • Final Manning vs Brady game. I'll have much more from this rivalry some day but this is a perfect video to end the youtube portion of this marathon.
    There's a lot more Manning games I left off. For example I left out New England/Colts games intentionally because I'm considering doing a marathon of those some day. Also there's a ton of Manning games I easily could've put in this marathon.

    Watching this again and at the end, I started to tear up, seeing Manning and Brady at the end shaking hands. Now knowing both of them are retired...thank you both for all the memories.

      1st Watch but like everything you named are not even established rivalries , back in the day you were always expecting Brady vs Manning to battle off in the playoffs. None you named are even steady playoff winners except mahomes. Maybe in a couple years we will get somethin like Brady vs Manning but not yet

    Even as a Patriots fan I always tip my hat off to Denver for their defense this game. Was glad they spanked Newton and the panthers in the Super Bowl

      Denver's 2 starting safeties were out for much of the 4th quarter, but a clutch throw

      @@monsterfreak2000 Also throw in the fact that both 2nd string safeties were out before the game (Bolden and Bruton) so Brady was throwing against two 3rd string safeties at that point.
      That’s the only way he became productive in this game

    I was deployed during this season. We were working in Guam, I left work for lunch and watched the 2nd half of this game at the Navy Exchange in Guam . They had it playing on all their big screens and even turned on the sound. Denvers last winning season.

      On that last play of the game for the Pats (the 2-point conversion), you see Von break through the line, and Brady just bails out of the pocket. Von gets blocked, but the intimidation from the snap was enough to get a stop.

      Denver called a timeout before the 2pt conversion to give Ware a breather. He got through Brady's blindside forcing him to abandon the pocket.

    I'm a lifelong Pats fan, but Manning was frustratingly good in this game. Tip of the cap to him and that GREAT defense. I'm grateful to have seen Manning vs. Brady over a dozen times in my life. Those games were almost always great.

      nah it was more a defensive battle. Pats offensively couldn't capitalize and also some questionable decisions to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking the FG

      Mahomes had .2 seconds to throw in SB54, against 9er defense that gave up fewer points than the 2015 Broncos did. Mahomes can actually operate without an OLine tho, unlike SysTom.

Steve Young and Brees have all had to change their game to adapt to age and injury. Everyone just enjoy Mahomes while hes still superman. It is going to be a wild ride for KC.

      I've been to both stadiums as a Steeler fan living in Montana. The crowd is something to behold. Great atmosphere. The old one is much better in that category as it even used to shake on defence because of its structure. New ones much nicer and its bigger too.

      Because he was guarding 3rd and 4th option scrubs all year, both Chris Harris and Aquib Talib almost made 1st team all pro. Look at how roby has performed since he has had to guard starters

      NiceguyBananne Well when you go from the best secondary in the league, that also was the best defense in the league, chances are you are gonna start when the defensive coordinator you just won the super bowl with goes to the same team as well. You also start when Trumaine Johnson is the best corner on the team. They both suck as starters, period. I’ll give Kayvon more slack because he wasn’t ever supposed to be a starter, Roby was a first round pick and has been as average as it gets as a starter. But that’s just how the league goes. I’m not saying he’s a bust either, just a disappointment

      @@PatrickGeorge97 I'd take Roby back on the squad with open arms his first year as a full time starter wasn't the best I'll agree but it wasnt God awful Roby consistently made impact plays that super bowl year week 1 forced a fumble on Jamal Charles to win the game in the 4th quarter they were trying to drain the clock they had the lead he was playing so well they had him out at safety some plays just so he could be on the field because he simply just kept making plays I think just those guys in the locker room and Wade Scheme kept each other accountable and he prob need that structure but if you go to the super bowl year which is what I'm talking about only he played lights out week to week and I think he played like 70% of the snaps so basically he was a starter that year

      NiceguyBananne I feel you. He was great with us, but his confidence had to be thru the roof knowing who was around him even with the safety’s we’ve had. It was always said, “if he was on any other team he’s a starter” but at this point I’d rather just develop a younger more hungry player, but it’s all the same at the end of the day, I’m just thrilled about how well this offseason went and can’t wait to see this really young team in action

    Brady has Gronk in single coverage in the back end zone with the defender stumbling...

      Dilhaber, If they stick with the forward pass call on the field instead of a backward pass it's a one sided game. Just like the Edelman muff call on the field against K .C. in 2018 there wasn't clear evidence to overturn the call. The close calls almost always go the Patriots way.

    as a Pats game this game pissed me off so much. our O line was complete garbage. and still had a chance to win somehow

      So so so frustrating. Second after we lost I told everyone in the room we’re winning it all in 2016-2017. Felt like the core of the team was really strong, just derailed by injuries and unlucky that this game was AT Denver. And sure enough ;)

      The '07 Colts had a good defense but they surrendered a game winning drive to Billy Volek. The 2012 Broncos were the best defense he'd ever had in his career and they got picked apart by Joe Flacco.

    Still can’t believe Gostowski missed that EXP. And why did Belichick keep going for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter when the Patriots were already in FG range. The Patriots should’ve won this game. The Broncos offense and Fivehead did nothing all game especially in the 2nd half, the Pats just gifted them short fields on all of their scoring possessions. That’s not even mentioning the fact that the Patriots were starting the corpse of Steven Jackson at running back this game because the Patriots starting running backs (Lewis/Blount) were all on IR. God 2015 still pisses me off to this day
