So I have been watching your videos for about 1-1/2 years now and just subscribed to your channel. Since this episode, I decided to go back to the beginning, and I have been binging for the past week. Since covid I lost my desire to knit but since watching you I have decided to get my needles back out. I just purchased your butterfly blanket and have been working on that while watching your episodes. Thank you for inspiring me to get back at it. I love all your sweaters and I love that you share them with us. Thank you again for putting that knitting spark back in me. ❤
Hi Carol! I’m not sure how I missed your sweet comment… you made me feel so good! I’m so glad that you have your desire back to knit! It brings me so much joy, each and every day! And thanks for purchasing the butterfly blanket if it’s for you to keep your legs warm… I hope it does the job and if it’s for a new life or a toddler, I hope they enjoy it for many years!🩷🩷🩷
After finishing a butterly baby blanket which I so enjoyed knintting, I have a bright side shawl on my needles with a gorgeous yarn called out of the ashes! You can find pattern on ravelry.
Loving that Ranunculus! Yarn? Wondering fast forward how it is wearing? Curious as you mention the “growing” factor. Just another beauty you are wearing. ( hint hint would love the style videos of more of your handknits)…. So good! We went to Ireland and loved Jim got to golf the old course at st. Andrew’s. We then traveled into Scotland and were able to stay with our dear friends at Skibo ( the Carnegie Club)…and Jim golfed several of the courses nearby. That country is so beautiful. Have fun on your travels…. So lucky! Thank you for today.
Ripping out the back of my tessellated vest (Andrea Mowery). Somehow I managed not to do any of the arm hole shaping 😮 That’s ok, I can re do it (after leaving it in time out for this summer). I am super bummed that summer is over. I have 5 kids I’m homeschooling this year and I just don’t want to start school, we have had too much fun. I loved seeing your pictures from Ireland! That is a crazy story about the pony cart!!! I would love to test knit your vest, and I will certainly be purchasing it as soon as it comes out!
Love your Ranunculus, I prefer a heavier weight too. Just getting back into knitting. Hoping I can get proficient enough to make that as it is beautiful.
Love the clips from Ireland! I went once and also didn’t buy any yarn which was pretty amusing to me at the time 😂 Your ranunculus is gorgeous ❤ I’m working on the Framed sweater for Rhinebeck currently.
I leave on September 29th to visit Ireland for a couple weeks, so excited. You should have searched out Heghog Yarn shop! I think I might just start a Ranunculus to take on my trip, thanks for the suggestion. Enjoyed seeing part of Ireland, Thank You!
Thank you for making these podcasts, I love all the stuff you share and look forward to the new episodes. Your Ranunculus Is fabulous, and you have motivated me to pull out my stash and finally make one!
Thanks so much love your videos and thanks for sharing about the surname cable patterns I am of Irish heritage and did not know that. Will be working to make something in the pattern of my heritage thanks to you 😊
Hi Leslie! Love your knits! I’m starting with SisterMountain as well, and have the same challenges. 🤣😂 I hope you’re enjoying the class. All new things take time to perfect. Hope you’re off to a great trip! 🧶💕Heidi
Caught up with your last several episodes - wonderful! Finishing off the Pothos Tee by Beth MacDonald Stone... a great knit. Love Ireland and - yup - hard to find yarn... not what I expected either - LOL. Loving all your neutrals...think I may have to cast on a few things🥰🥰🥰
Hi Leslie! I have been working on socks for Christmas. I wanted a break so I started the Bean and Olive sweater for my youngest great granddaughter. I am hoping to make all 3 girls this pattern in their favorite colors also for Christmas. I love your Ranunculus and definitely need to make another. You have inspired me as I love Berocco Vintage yarn. ❤
I so look forward to your videos; thank you! May the moment, I am half way through knitting my first Aran. I’m from Yorkshire (England) and they’re called Ganseys. Each pattern denotes different things: ropes, steps, shingle etc and were knitted in village patterns so fishermen could be identified if they sadly had been found after an accident. Initials were knitted on the Ganseys also. I’m knitting it as a remembrance of past family seamen/fishermen and the villages they’ve sailed from. Aren’t knitting traditions precious? Happy knitting 🧶
Lovely podcast, as usual. As an American living in Ireland (Co Kerry), I can tell you that knitting shops are few and far between. There is a lovely shop in Dublin (This is Knit) and one in Bantry (Co Cork) but I usually order online from Onling, Knitting for Olive, etc. Knitting my 3rd Ranunculus whilst listening to you. Also, I love needlework, too!
Can’t wait for your vest! I have been looking for a good one to get lots of wear!! Omg the fish is amazing!!! I just cross stitch! My boss years ago went to Ireland and found me a skein of wool that I made a bucket bag with and still use every winter! I treasure that! Thanks!!
Awe! Thank you friend for stopping by! I hope to have the vest pattern soon! Thanks for like it! :) Your bucket bag DOES sound special! Happy knitting friend! xx
Its been so great to spend my lunch break with you Leslie! My fave current project is the Arbour by Mollie Conrad, it’s a beautiful lace raglan sweater in worsted weight and. Am having so much fun knitting it! I look forward to seeing you again soon!
Leslie, that is so cool, I immediately googled my last name and found my family cable pattern! My great great grand parents are from Ireland. The website is called Glenaran and they sell kits with yarn included but hopefully just the pattern is available elsewhere. Thank you so much! 💚
Loved hearing about your trip to Ireland and so glad you came home alive!😅 What a memory. Cannot believe you couldn’t find a yarn store! My husbands family is from Cork so when we go I fully intend to storm Hedgehog Fibres among other stores. I’m currently knitting on a Stripe Hype sweater for my son, he’s 10 and fits in women’s x smalls now 😢 my husband and I are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast next spring! 🤩
Be sure you initial & day your NP fish pillows. So so beautiful. I love doing NP. I am 84 & love all fabric crafts & many others. It really makes me happy. Enjoy your trip. Your videos are wonderful. 😮Thanks
I've also just started my third Ranunculus. I love how the pattern is so easy to follow. I'm knitting mine with Holst Haya, a divine alpaca/silk/yak blend fingering. Love the Barbie Lou (and already in my library) and await the updated version.
Fun vlog, what a great trip! I never thought of trying falconry but that seems very interesting. I'm knitting a very modified R&R Hoodie by Tanis Lavellee; I hope it survives all my choices!
My in-laws are from Ireland, Kerry & Galway. I was in Killarney years ago. Such a cute village. I just started crocheting the Eze Basket Bag and am obsessed 💚☘️
So fun to have some Irish in the fam! We adored Killarney! I wish I come come sit with you and you could show me how to crochet that bag. It’s sooooo cute! Happy making Amber! 🩷🩷🩷
We did a tour of Ireland in May - magical, stunning and the nicest people! I learned that the wool from the Irish sheep is quite coarse so most of those sheep you see are raised for meat - grass fed! I bought yarn at a store in Dublin ( Danish!) and Studio Donegal at a shop in Galway. But the hand knit sweaters in stores were gorgeous. I’m also a needlepointer and just finished my 5 th Christmas stocking - for grandchild #5! I am fortunate to have a stitching group that meets once a week to keep me on track as I’d rather be knitting too!
Hi Nancy! How wonderful! And you are so right... the people were SO nice! We didn't get to Dublin but I did hear they have great yarn shops there! And WOW! The stocking game is BIG LOVE! My sister needlepointed my 3 kids their stockings and they are a true labor of love. Such Treasures! Happy Stitching and Knitting friend! x x
Good morning Leslie, thank you for another fun episode. I have vest knitting on my mind. I just finished the Ingrid by Petite Knit and absolutely loved the knit. Enjoy the rest of the summer. 😢
Hello lovely, love that ranunculus 🥰 colour is superb! Ha ha the jaunting carriage ride 🤭 don’t worry even many Irish people don’t understand those drivers, some areas (like in Kerry) the accent is sooooo thick. Dad is from Limerick and my son, his fiancé and mum and dad were doing the falconry thing last month too! It’s a fun country ☘️ Thanks for sharing, enjoy your next adventure 💕
Imagine no wool shops in ireland thought would be loads but saying that am in edinburgh and I don’t have a shop near where I stay although some other end of town if I wan5 to visit them but rarely do as parking is a problem but online shopping has to do lovely to see you
Love your new Ranunculus sweater! Also, I can relate to your needlepoint dilemma…I also enjoy cross stitching and I purchased 2 Christmas Stocking kits for my grandkids at least 3 years ago, but i rather knit so they were never starter. This year, I decided to bring them to Greece (i spend the summers here) with me and force myself to work on them, I;m so glad I did because I had forgotten how much I enjoy cross stitching. Anyway, looking forward to your next episode!
So exciting to see you again. So inspiring and I have now decided after watching you to make the Ranunculus sweater and I have the Vintage yarn already in my stash. Also very excited about your simple vest pattern to come, this will definitely be a must have pattern! Safe travels ❤❤
YAY! I"m so glad you have some Vintage in your stash! It really worked out wonderfully! And thank you so much for the interest in the vest. Should be out soon! Happy knitting friend! xx
Beautiful knits, beautiful Ireland that’s for sharing the lovely pictures. I’m working on mini mock tee ( a longer version) to wear under blazers this winter which is about all you need in TX winters
Hello Leslie, I am knitting Diamantine by Paula Pereira and absolutely love it. We went to Texas to South Padre Island on holiday. Sending regards from the Czech Republic.
Great episode Leslie, always nice to see what you are making and where you are traveling. I am a home body so do not travel much. Thanks for the episode! 🥰🇨🇦Sharon.
Great to see that an episode was up! I’m always inspired by your projects. Even though I can knit continental, I usually knit by throwing (flicking). I also have to look more at my knitting when i continental. Looking forward to going to Rhinebeck again this year.
Loved hearing about the history of the Aran sweaters, so interesting. Currently working on the Ellie Shirt by Rust Knitwear. Very interesting and fun knit. it is knit in a broken rib. I also knit both continental and english style however I switch back and forth in the same project, don't want to be a slave to my project since continental is so much faster for me. Hoping if any challenges will all get washed out in the blocking, so far it all looks good.
Ooooooh! I should just go for it and stick to continental in one project and see how it goes! Thanks for the push!🥰 love the Ellie shirt! happy knitting friend! 💛
Leslie, my friend .. always so love your inspiring chats. so enjoyed the clips from Ireland. I have longed to visit that beautiful country. I'm not much of a sweater knitter, I knit one years ago for myself and the rest have been small ones for granddaughters . However I believe you are really breaking me down and am now thinking about a Ranunculus as the Vintage one is just so lovely! thank you
Hi Diana! YES!!! Try it! I think you would love it! And if you want to start with something even easier the vest pattern will be available soon! :) Happy knitting friend! xx
Finishing up Morning Sky. The pattern instructs you to recheck row gauge (knitting bottom up) as you start the yoke & add/subtract rows so the yoke is the correct size. First time seeing that, and appreciated! The Irish trip looks wonderful! There are knitting tours of Ireland, and yes, they do have yarn shops.
Ohhhhh! Interesting and wise to have you check the row gauge! Love the Morning Sky top. Very cute. I guess we were just in an area without yarn shops! We had tour guides and they wouldn't be able to find any. If only we had gone to Dublin....:) Happy knitting friend! xx
I love all your projects. I do cross stitch, quilting and slow stitching and design cross stitch patterns. I’d love to try needlepoint one day. Your buggy ride in Ireland sounds wild 😮. I’m just about finished a Hipster Hat by petite knit for my hubby, we are in Queensland Australia and he is taking it on a trip to New Zealand next week.
Thanks for sharing your knits and your Irish adventures. Your projects are so beautiful and they always look fantastic on you. I am heading to the UK soon and so am preparing my knitting by completing two sweater yokes (Sea Haven and Yule Do). My plan is to get to the easy stockinette parts by the time we leave and have completed sweaters to wear while travelling…..we’ll see if that happens!
Love your vlog as usual great to see fun trip to Ireland. I’m knitting the garden cardigan in fingering and kid silk in a beautiful camel color. It will be a great staple wardrobe piece. Fun easy knit with an ingenious neck design. I think you’d love it.
I finished my 3rd Ranunculus on Tuesday! I ripped out a vest to make the second one, and I ripped out a linen T for the 3rd one. I have decided to reuse yarn when I don't wear a garment enough to keep it as is. They are not oversized like the pattern, I haven't made one with large needles yet.
The memory of the runaway horse is fantastic. I'm making a baby blanket right now and trying to finish before the baby shower on Sept 7 so I'm diligently doing that every night. It's the colorful corner blanket by purl soho. Second one I've made. Nice pattern and mindless. I also knit English and can just fly without watching what I'm doing so it's been great tv knitting. I'm looking forward to the vest release!
Oh my gosh that colorful corner blanket is off the charts cute! LOVE it! And you are so right.... When you don't have to be staring at your project makes tv watching soooo much more enjoyable! Happy knitting sweet friend! xx
Hi Leslie, Love your Mom's design for the little sweater, Beautiful! The fish your working on is spectacular, what a lovely gift for your sons. Thank you for sharing all the goodness. The clip at the end of Ireland is gorgeous, the scenery is breathtaking. Will look forward to your vest pattern. Wish I could test it for you, but I'm having lung surgery next thursday, and will have a few weeks of recovery, so not sure how much knitting I will be doing. But you can bet if I can knit I surely will. Happy knitting. 🤗
Hi Sue! Oh sweet friend you will be in my thoughts and prayers! I hope your healing will be speedy. Take such care of yourself. All the self love! Healthy food, good thoughts and lots of love! xx
Always love seeing you. You had me laughing so hard when the horse took off. Could envision it just by your description. So glad you had a great trip. Sorry about your allegies.
Your trip to Ireland sounds magical! Especially the falconry class. I’m so looking forward to knitting your vest. Thank you for such an inspirational podcast!
Yes to another Ranunculus! It's lovely. I'm ready to do one in wool, after three in cotton/linen. Just back from Flock, and the amazingly beautiful Bainbridge Island. A visit to the Lamb and Kid, and La Mercerie, plus forest walks, knitting and lots of seafood. Perfect! My latest knit was my third (!!) Deschaines. This one sleeveless in Line. It's a wonderful sweater, and I get scads of compliments, whichever one I'm wearing. Finished a shawl in Birdie (Lamb and Kid) in my own design. I may write it up, but you are SO right, it's not a quick process.
Love seeing your finished projects. I'm currently working on a Be Thankful Cardigan for my daughter and a baby blanket. We are planning a trip on the Queen Mary 2 in May to celebrate our wedding anniversary and will end up in England and then Ireland. Also planning to attend the MDK Nashville "Nash Yarn Fest" in March.
YAY! I love your travel plans! How fun! I should look into that Nash Yarn Fest! Never heard of it! Thank you! I made my daughter Libby the Be Thankful Cardi. Such a great knit. She still wears it 4 years later! Happy knitting friend! xx
Loved hearing about your Ireland trip, what a treat!! Looking forward to your vest pattern. I think (like your Friend to Friend ) it is a perfect canvas to stripe or embroider on. Great holiday gift knit !!
I love your knitted garments and would like to make the vest. I am also a needlepointer and have an Elizabeth Bradley project on the go. The completed piece from your sister was beautifully stitched and your stitching is beautiful as well. I look forward to your next video.
Talk about serendipity!!! A very good friend has a birthday coming up, and he asked me to needlepoint smth for him. I've knit and crocheted gifts for him, so this was an interesting request -- especially as I used to needlepoint when I was younger and haven't thought about it since. ANYWAY I was delighted to see your and your sister's needlepoint projects, so thank you for showing them and for adding the kit information.
Love hearing about your trip to Ireland! I just cast on the Adah Shawl. Your Ranunculus is beautiful ❤ I’ve made 2 and it is such a fun knit. Have a wonderful weekend ❤❤❤
Lovely Ranunculus and great colour on you! Loving knitting Nile cardi by Isabell Kraemer. Put this aside for a while in the spring to do another 2 projects and forgot how much fun the texture knitting was! Going to Ireland in October for a knitting tour/retreat with Trips for Knitters and think I’m going to some of the same areas that you visited. Trying to decide what knitting to take as I’m just taking carry-on luggage. Being a sweater knitter, I’d like to take a sweater to knit but time will tell. I have yarn for Nancy’s Vest by Carol Sunday but it may be a little much to knit for travel?! It’s knit all in one piece but while travelling, trying to ensure a good fit / length etc as I usually do modifications may be a challenge? Thanks for another super podcast!
Awe. Thank you Karen! So sweet! Love the Nile cardi. I’ve seen a lot of cute fos! Ooooh! A knitting trip to Ireland sounds wonderful! I always take a carryon also! Maybe a small project and the vest in case the one takes too much attention! I like having simple projects so I can devote my brain to my surroundings. 🥰😍 happy knitting sweet friend!💚💚💚
I am knitting the Nila by Natasja Hornby, enjoying it very much but it is for sure not “blind” knitting but it keeps my brain working and that is a good thing.looking forward to your next podcast.greetings from Canada and happy knitting 🧶🌷🇨🇦
I was so excited to see your new podcast!!! I have knit several short sleeve versions of the ranunculus and now I’m so excited to cast on for a long sleeve version for the winter!! Im also super excited for your vest pattern. That would be such a practical and stylish addition to my wardrobe . Thanks again for such an inspiring podcast. ❤
Awe. Thank you Joy! Maybe I will need to try a short sleeve version! :) The vest should be out soon! Thank you for the interest! Happy knitting friend! xx
I was so happy to see you popped on yt! I always look forward to your podcast. I love the ranunculous as well. Wonderful to hear about your trip to Ireland…it’s on my list to visit. I went to Scotland 2 years ago and highly recommend going. I did bring back some special yarn 😊. I’m currently knitting the Natsumi sweater and it’s so fun since it is knit sideways, hopefully I won’t be playing yarn chicken tho. Have a fabulous time in Tahoe. I’m heading to Santa rose, CA in October.
Leslie, I so enjoyed watching this today, as I am recovering from the “flu”, and you made me smile so big with your story about the driverless carriage!!! I know it must have been frightening but the way you told it was delightful. The music at the end is just wonderful. You are such a joy to listen to and watch. Question, maybe I missed it, but what was that lavender/thistle colored yarn for? And what brand of yarn. I love that color lately. Enjoy your trip to Tahoe!
Hi friend! Hope you are feeling better by now! And thank you for your kind words! So sweet! 🩷 I’m knitting another hello friend vest in that lovely thistle colored yarn. It’s onling no 1 and it is one of my favorite yarns. 🩷 pattern coming soon!!! 😍
Well done figuring out how to make the sweater in several sizes!! I'm proud of you for taking a class to learn how to do so. It's no joke trying to learn new things at our age. 😂 I'm going back to school and the kids these days, they pick stuff up so fast!! I tell them they are like high speed Internet. I'm dial up. I'll get there eventually, but in the meantime, there's a whole lot of noise and a circle going round and round and round... So, again, way to tackle the hard things! 👏
Thank you for putting out these videos they’re such a joy and perfect for me in an evening knitting, somehow feel I’m truly sitting with a friend! (Love your hair! )
I actually snorted when you said the horse took off without the driver! What a great story. And a great memory! I’m working on The Norma Sweater with yarn from The Lamb & Kid. I was so blessed to visit Bainbridge Island in June with my childhood friend. Love your podcast! ❤
Laughing to tears about the runaway horse! Love hearing from you. Looking forward to vest pattern. In the meantime I plan to cast on ranunculus. Currently making v neck Lauder cardigan by Rebecca Clow. Funny, I can only knit English style looking at my work but can continental without watching. Started out English but added continental to give my wrists some relief. Like you I must stick to one style for a project so keep one continental and one English going to be able to switch off.
Haha! Happy you liked the runaway horse story! I still can't believe it! HA! I adore the Lauder! That is going to be wonderful! And OOOOOH! Lucky you to be able to knit continental without watching! I bet you are a wiz! Happy knitting friend! xx
Wonderful podcast. I’m glad you got to visit Ireland. That runaway buggy! I liked your ranunculus a lot, and maybe I’ll have to knit one. I’ve just not been a huge fan of the bagginess, but yours looks superb. I can’t wait, by the way, for your vest pattern! Your elegantly simple style is very fetching.
Your trip to Ireland sounds fabulous my sweet friend. I cannot wait for your vest pattern to come out. I know it will be fabulous. If only people would know how much work goes behind the scenes before a pattern can be released… thank you again for the shoutout… you are always so sweet and supportive to me, but what makes me the most happy is to see you using the needle stoppers and that you really like them. I saw that your podcast was out but I was out of town and wanted to wait till I could watch and really enjoy it, and I just did it. I’m home and just watched it with a nice cup of tea. Hope to see you soon again 💖🥰😘
You must be referring to Irish harness racing. The cart is called a sulky, and the sport is also known as sulky racing. You had a scary moment there, thank goodness it got under control. Your latest Ranunculus is my favorite of the ones you've knitted so far. The color is beautiful. Thanks for sharing photos from your trip to Ireland. That shop with all the beautiful sweaters, Wow!
We went on a Viking cruise from Prague to Berlin with 5 other couples from our church and had a blast . I did buy yarn when we also went to Vienna at the beginning of our trip and the women who owned the yarn shop was delightful!! I am knitting the Mudo sweater by the Petite Knitter and also the Felix pullover. Im so addicted to knitting in this season of my life and your have been a huge inspiration for me! Im also getting ready to knit a cardigan for my 10 mos old granddaughter who lives in Pittsburgh. Thanks so much Leslie for your wonderful presence here!!❤
Awe! You just made my heart big! THANK YOU! Wonderful travels! I have yet to be to Vienna but certainly look forward to going one day! Happy knitting sweet friend! xx
Greetings from Wyoming. Leslie, I cannot wait to purchase your vest pattern. I know I'll knit up many of them. Headed to Norway in September and wish I had the pattern to knit on the plane. Happy trails!!!! BTW, I am currently working on The O Knot Cardigan by Taylor Owen. It's quite a project.
Yay!!! Your travel sounds lovely! The o knot cardigan looks lovely! The pockets!😍 thanks for the hello friend love. Hope to have the pattern out soon! Need some test knitters!😍
I am so looking forward to your vest pattern! I am still learning and sounds like a perfect fit for my next steps in learning. Thank you for all that you do!
Leslie, I love your Ranunculus!!!! You have convinced me to make one. I always avoided changing some things the designer has in the pattern. You have given me courage. I always liked the Ranunculus but didn’t consider knitting it because of the gauge and the sleeves. I too am making a Best Friend Baby Blanket. My daughter is having a baby in November. I made one last year for her sister-in-law and it was fun, so I decided to make another one. About the Sandes Garn Line. I used some to make an Anker Summer Shirt by Petite Knit. I made several changes to the pattern. I added short rows to the back, for the ribbed sections in the yoke and neck I knit it on the reverse side, In other words I used the “wrong” side as the right side. Most important thing is I shortened it a LOT. It would have been way too long if I had knit it to the length in the pattern. Yea for top down knitting. One last thing. A Barbie Lou is in my future. It is so cute! And I already have some Sandes Garn Line left from my Anker Summer Shirt. I purchased several skeins too many. Loved this episode. Safe travels!😊 Michael Reed
Hi sweet friend!!! Congratulations on your grand baby coming in November! I’m So honored that you are making a BFBB for the new life! Makes my heart big! So glad you like the sadnes garn line. I bet the anker shirt is great in that yarn. And good going making the changes necessary for your liking! Happy knitting friend! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Every year I make about 20 pairs of children’s mittens to take to a school here. Teachers say kids come without mittens on cold winter days, for whatever reason, and they can then give the child a pair to wear and keep. It’s good for them and keeps my arthritic hands busy and less painful. I am also working on an afghan. This is the third time making this pattern. I’ve given the other two away but will keep this one, I think. Love your sweaters. May have to make a Ranunculus some time. Haven’t made a sweater in awhile. I enjoy smaller projects like fingerless mitts for friends or myself and the mittens. I’ve been to Ireland and have ridden in the jaunting carts. Can’t imagine having the horse take off without a driver! Yikes!! Glad you survived that experience.
So I have been watching your videos for about 1-1/2 years now and just subscribed to your channel. Since this episode, I decided to go back to the beginning, and I have been binging for the past week. Since covid I lost my desire to knit but since watching you I have decided to get my needles back out.

Thanks so much love your videos and thanks for sharing about the surname cable patterns I am of Irish heritage and did not know that. Will be working to make something in the pattern of my heritage thanks to you 😊
Ohhh!! I thought that was so very cool as well! thanks so much for visiting! Happy knitting friend! x x
We went to Ireland in July and loved it. Never found a yarn store, but I bought 2 balls of dark green for a hat in one of the tourist stores.
Yay!! I need to catch up with your life too!!!
Anything by Beth is a winner. She is an amazing designer! 💛

OMG! That needlepoint fish is striking!
They also just sell just the patterns!
Always a lovely podcast! Working on my Ravenforest Shawl which is beautiful butterfly lace 🌸
😮Thanks
Awe. Thank you so much for visiting Donna! And great idea to date the needlepoint! THANK YOU! Needlepoint and knitting makes me so happy too! xx
It’s a fun country ☘️
Thanks for sharing, enjoy your next adventure 💕
Stunning fish needlepoint!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!! :) xx
Imagine no wool shops in ireland thought would be loads but saying that am in edinburgh and I don’t have a shop near where I stay although some other end of town if I wan5 to visit them but rarely do as parking is a problem but online shopping has to do lovely to see you
I have couple mosaic knitting projects in my queue and This might be just the push I need to start one! Great KAL 😊
So excited for the release of your vest! Love it and will greatly appreciate the RUclips video support💖
Great episode Leslie, always nice to see what you are making and where you are traveling. I am a home body so do not travel much.
Thanks for the episode! 🥰🇨🇦Sharon.
I have made 4 ranunculus tops. I’ve used everything from lace weight to worsted 😊
Yay! I know what you mean... I see another one in my future at some point as well! Happy knitting friend! xx
Leslie, your knits always look so dreamy, beautiful and professional! Thank you for another great podcast.
Awe. Thank you Lilian! And thanks so much for visiting! Happy knitting friend! xx
Loved this episode and loved the footage of your trip!!! Always enjoy your episodes!!!
I am so happy that I found your podcast. I love your style and sweaters.
I just finished a 15 yr WIP. It is a Debbie Bliss Simple Jacket with pockets. Done in her cotton denim Aran weight yarn.
Bravo!!!
AMAZING! Congratulations! That must feel amazing to have it off the needles! xx
Loved your chat. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Thank you Ursala!! Happy knitting friend!
You have been busy! It's always great to "visit" with you. Have a safe trip this weekend.
Thank you friend! And thanks for visiting!🩷
Great to see that an episode was up! I’m always inspired by your projects. Even though I can knit continental, I usually knit by throwing (flicking). I also have to look more at my knitting when i continental. Looking forward to going to Rhinebeck again this year.
Awe! Thanks for visiting Gail! I wish I was going to Rhinebeck this year. I’ll have to live through you!
I love the ranunculus, makes a great gift, and so im on my 6 or 7th lost track🥰
Really looking forward to the vest pattern!
Yay!!! Good for you for putting that yarn to awesome use! I need to do that more often! Happy knitting friend!💛
Ha! Thank you Lucy! I wish I had it on video! 😂 hsppy knitting friend!💛
hi i always enjoy watching you
That is just the sweetest! Thank you friend! xx
Your trip to Ireland sounds magical! Especially the falconry class.
I’m so looking forward to knitting your vest. Thank you for such an inspirational podcast!
Oh, Yay~ Thank you Karyn! Hope the pattern will be finished soon! :) Happy knitting friend! xx
What color and name of yarn did you use for the butterfly blanket?
Oh Laurie! THANK YOU! Yes... you are so right. A canvas to all things embellished! SO glad you like it! Happy knitting friend! xx
I love your knitted garments and would like to make the vest. I am also a needlepointer and have an Elizabeth Bradley project on the go. The completed piece from your sister was beautifully stitched and your stitching is beautiful as well. I look forward to your next video.
Hi Darlene! I love that you have an EB needlepoint going as well!!! I think it’s addictive! Thanks for the interest in the vest. I think soon!✨💫✨
Ooooooh! I’ll have to look up the Adah! Happy knitting friend!🩷
So enjoy your channel and your knitting projects
Thank you so much Sheila!!! 💛💛💛
Off to Norway in early September Nd looking forward to yarn shopping!
YAY! Sending the Yarn Shop Gods your way! Happy Traveling friend! xx
I am knitting the Nila by Natasja Hornby, enjoying it very much but it is for sure not “blind” knitting but it keeps my brain working and that is a good thing.looking forward to your next podcast.greetings from Canada and happy knitting 🧶🌷🇨🇦
Hi Bernadette! I love Nila! It's going to be fabulous! Thanks so much for stopping by and for visiting! Happy knitting friend! xx
Your ranunculus is so stunning on you!
Can't wait for the vest pattern gorgeous
I'm looking forward to your mother's Barbie Lou pattern for the next generation of nieces and nephs. Lovely to have a wee visit with you today. XXX
Awe! Thank you so much Marsha for the visit! And thank you for liking my moms sweet baby pattern. xx
Thank you, Leslie, for another visit! 🥰
Awe! Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy knitting, friend! xx
Wow! It looks like a wonderful trip Leslie. I’m so glad that you and your husband are enjoying traveling together.
Thanks friend! Happy knitting! 🩷🩷🩷
Oh my gosh! That falcon at the end is gorgeous!! Were you a little apprehensive about it landing on your arm? Such an amazing trip!
TU for sharing ur trip. The horse & the cart was so funny. But glad no one was hurt. The land is so breathtaking ❤❤❤ Till next time
Awe! Thank you so much for visiting sweet Hollie! Happy knitting! xx
Love that cute Barbie Lou! Perfect.; I needlepoint a lot, The canvas of the fish, fantastic!
Nice! I love to hear of fellow needlepointers! Happy stitching and knitting friend! xx
Hi Rachel! You are so right! My brain sometimes hurts with all those numbers! HA! It's a focus issue, too! HAHAH! Happy knitting friend! xx
Thank you for putting out these videos they’re such a joy and perfect for me in an evening knitting, somehow feel I’m truly sitting with a friend! (Love your hair! )
Well, thank YOU for watching and for such kind words! Happy Knitting sweet friend! xx
Love your vest pattern. Can’t wait to buy it.
Looks and sounds like you had a great time on Ireland! I’ll have to check out your new pattern when it’s ready! 🌸🌼🌻
Thank you Leslie ❤
Oh, thank you for the horse info! Yes! It was pretty scary! Thanks for the visit friend and happy knitting! xx
@@LeslieFriend, sign me up😊
I am so looking forward to your vest pattern! I am still learning and sounds like a perfect fit for my next steps in learning. Thank you for all that you do!
I have been waiting for the best pattern ever since you showed it 2 years ago. Love everything you make!!
Ditto!!!
Awe! Makes my heart happy! THANK YOU! xx
Awe! Thanks friend! xx
Noticed my typo, still waiting for the VEST pattern, which I am sure is the best pattern! When will you publish it?
Safe travels!😊
Michael Reed
Hi sweet friend!!! Congratulations on your grand baby coming in November! I’m
So honored that you are making a BFBB for the new life! Makes my heart big!
So glad you like the sadnes garn line. I bet the anker shirt is great in that yarn. And good going making the changes necessary for your liking! Happy knitting friend! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Hello Leslie, I’m so happy to see you. Always inspiring 🤗🧶💕
Great video ❤
Thank you friend! xx
Your mitten story warmed my heart! How lovely!🩷
