We only went there because we didn’t have the tickets and we really wanted to see the fireworks. The fireworks lasted for 8-10 mins maybe. We reached this bridge around 4pm to get the best spot. If you want a good spot the latest I would say is 5pm. We went with a few friends, got some pizza and some games and made a picnic out of it. It was once in a lifetime experience, being part of London’s new year celebrations. Let me know if you go!
Nice video; thank you for sharing; I am not from Uk; do you have any recommendation (social mideas) to acompain and have the information when they will start to sell the tickets? Thank you
I am thinking of coming to London this year for new years,I was wondering how can I dodge the congestion charges and were to park for the full day I am there and not get ripped off.
based on where you are coming from, you can park outside the congestion zone and take a tube to the centre. If you are planning to get a ticket fro the London eye show, get it soon, as tickets get finished quickly. I you are planning to watch the free show (like I did) you can head to the Vauxhall bridge. People start crowding there from 4 pm. Let me know if you want details!
@@thewalkinglondon yah so I am coming from Wakefield West Yorkshire. I plan on watching the free show. Main thing is to park my car somewhere for free or as little as possible and then just get a train or walk to were I need to go.

why didn't you stay near Westminster ?
you need a ticket to stay there. They clear out the area around 2PM so no one's allowed without a ticket.
