    What a beautiful ship! We love the smaller ships and I agree the atrium is probably the most elegant of any Princess ship. Thank you for a great tour of this little gem.

    My personal favourite ship. The bigger ones have their advantages, but they feel too much Ike just cramming more and more people on to me. Coral has all we need, and is incredibly charming.

    Love the older and smaller Princess ships like Coral Princess which have a lovely elegant old world feel. We like dancing and music. On Coral Princess you have the Wheelhouse Bar, Explorers Lounge and Universe Lounge for dancing and entertainment. The Universe Lounge is a great venue.

    We love both the larger and smaller Princess ships. I have to agree though, the smaller ships are more elegant with better entertainment venues than the it’s larger sisters, love the wraparound promenade deck too. I do prefer the cabins on the newer ships, so both have pros and cons.

    I used to see the Island Princess at the Port of LA all the time and admired her unique structure and blissfully azul brilliance. So if not ever so slightly different look than many other mass produced ship designs. I’m happy Coral Princess still retains her wrap-around promenade. The Sanctuary reminds me of the pool aboard SS Canberra…just..aft! And the forward buffet like RCCL’s Sovereign Class ships. Truly, an “older” design layout. For better and for worse. Otherwise, streamlined gem of a ship we need to see return(?) indeed.

    We are loyal to Princess but prefer the smaller ship. Back on the Coral in October for around Australia. We did the same cruise 2 months ago on the Majestic and while we enjoyed it we hardly saw all the ship. We mainly stuck to the lotus spa with enclave, the international Cafe and dining room, all found near each other. Trivia was so far away as was the Market Place buffet, opposite end of ship. We did get our steps in though with just these places, when every step hurt.
    Definitely looking forward to the Coral.

    Did you hear anything about a significant noise problem affecting the aft cabins?
    There a number of posts on a Coral Princess forum recently saying the following:
    “Yes it was terrible and we mentioned this to staff! Got fobbed off, and told to wear earplugs! We were Dolphin, deck 9, mid aft (D617), starboard side.The noise near mid aft elevators was awful, sounded like gunshots, and I would not go into the 2 on the port side, did not feel safe! And it didn’t have to be rough weather either. All this on top of both of us catching COVID and confined to cabin last week of cruise!”

    • @visitwithus
      @visitwithus  Год назад +1

      We didn’t notice anything in particular but we tend to avoid aft cabins on all ships because they tend to get quite a bit of engine noise and vibrations and as a light sleeper it’s not great for Helen.

    We too love the full wraparound promenade decks. Our most recent cruise earlier this year was on the Carnival Magic. One of the main reasons we chose this ship was it full promenade deck. Once on board I was disappointed to realize that a significant portion of the aft promenade was closed off for crew use only. I certainly don't begrudge having a nice outdoor space for the crew to relax but honestly had I known I probably would have booked something different. Love your videos...beautiful to look at and fun to listen to! :)
