Thanks Adrian. She maybe getting on in years now but she is still a lovely ship. Princess do look after their fleet well and from your video Coral Princess is no exception. Everything you want but on a small scale. My wife and I were booked on her at Christmas but had to pull out. Real shame but there you go. Nice to see her through your eyes though. Cheers.
My husband and I had a wonderful Alaskan cruise aboard the Coral Princes in 2018. The only changes I saw in your video tour was the addition of the Medallion hardware and the hand washing stations. Our favorite spot was Coroner’s bar. We would spend most evenings listening to Danial Oliver and singing along. Thank you for the tour. Brings back some great memories
It’s very similar to Encounter, except the the names of the dining areas and drinking areas. I love it. Can’t wait to board on November the 10. Th. Awesome RUclips.
You really do a great job, and the commentary is spot on. Thanks. It won't be until January 2024 before I get a chance to sail on her. Some things may change by then.
Thanks Adrian, took this ship through the Panama Canal from LA to Ft Lauderdale in 2019. Loved the small ship feel and seeing all the venues brought back great memories.
I've actually never seen these older Princess ships - it's so nice to see the similarities between this ship, and ships like Sky or Discovery - they certainly seem to maintain a similar 'feel' throughout their fleet, which I do have a lot of respect for!
That’s so true. Princess definitely have a way of maintaining their ‘feel’ throughout their fleet of ships. Having said that, it looks like we might be about to see some changes with the Sphere Class 👀 it looks very exciting
Yee ha, Sept 26, 12 nights out of Sydney to North Queensland & Conflict Island. Thanks for the video pretty much familiar to the ship now. Not sailed on a Princess Cruise, so comparisons are going to be evitable :)
Awesome! That's going to be a fantastic itinerary. Hope you enjoy the voyage. My favourite things about Princess are the service, the inclusions on the Plus package, plus the complimentary dining offerings. The Medallion app (though it's not without its issues) makes ordering drinks and snacks super convenient.
World Cruise April 2024 Auckland / Auckland. Can't wait. Our 5th cruise with Princess - last 2 on Sun Princess which looks very similar. Bigger ships don't appeal.
We are doing the around Australia next October. We have done it before on the Sea Princess. This likes so much nicer. Can't wait even more now. Thank you.
Thanks Jeffery. The around Australia cruise is definitely one of the most popular on the Princess calendar, and the Coral Princess is a fantastic ship to enjoy that itinerary from.
Great video. Booked on this for November to New Guinea. This will be my 5th Princess cruise and we prefer the smaller ships and your video shows how little difference there was to the previous sailing (both ships now with P & O). So familiar it will be comforting. Thanks.
Pretty thorough for such a short time, did you actually get time to yourself?? LoL Thanks again Adrian! P.S You did so well there's no blooper reel! haha
haha thank you Bobbie! Honestly, not really 😂 it was wayyyy too short, but I can't complain. 1 night on a cruise is better than nothing 😄 haha no bloopers this time 😆
Thank you for the tour. It was excellent. My Wife and I are travelling on Coral Princess (our 16 th. cruise) in October from Singapore to L.A. It is an older ship. We travelled on the Island Princess last year and they had spoilt it by taking out the Vista Longe (deck 7 aft) and put in more rooms which also spoilt the outdoor walk around the entire ship. Bad move. Once again, thank you. Dana & Erika Rushton (Australia)
Glad it was helpful! I actually made a video comparing the Coral and Island Princess a long time ago, discussing some of those unfortunate changes that were made to Island's aft section in particular. Enjoy your upcoming cruise onboard Coral!
Thanks Adrian, excellent tour. I'm sailing on Coral P at Christmas to NZ and again next year for the World Cruise - really looking forward to it all. Having done a number of long cruises on the Sea P and the Dawn P, I know that this is the ship size that I prefer and I'm so keen to get back on the water and experience Medallion Class.
Thanks for watching Julie! I have to agree, Coral is a wonderfully sized ship. There are so many public spaces inside to enjoy. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas cruise, and I’m sure the world cruise will be an epic adventure.
I’ve been on the Sapphire Princess before the pandemic and I’d say from this video that Coral Princess is like a baby brother of the Sapphire Just wonder how different the new Medallion thing that Princess does now effects the cruising experience
They're quite similar, you can definitely tell the Coral was built to be a Princess ship 😄 I will make a video soon about my experience with the Medallion, hopefully that answers some of your questions. Stay tuned.
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy Looking forward to that seeing as its a brand new technological advancement made by Princess to enhance the cruising experience
Thanks for post. I love it. She is nice ship. I hope I will take Alaska or New England/Canada cruise trip with Princess or HAL. Did you go on HAL? I like to take cruise ship with enclosed swimming pool. I went on Maasdam once from Tampa. I never go on Princess before.
Thanks Steve & Kay! I was onboard just for the night, on August 21st. I was supposed to board on the 19th, but had a little adventure instead haha. Which cruise were you on?
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy we boarded on the 22nd August for b2b, disembarking on the 3 September. We managed to get covid on 30 August so we’re in iso for four days. Which was actually a very positive experience. We are now due back on next Tuesday and praying for negative RAT tests. So far I’m negative but Steve is not. We are praying to anyone who will listen 🤣
@@stevekaysadventures5213 ohh! You boarded the day I got off. Sorry to hear about the COVID, but it sounds like it was dealt with positively - so that’s good! Enjoy your next cruise 😄
I’m fairly sure anyone can access the pool, but there’s no where to lounge or set yourself up nearby, because all of the loungers etc belong to the Sanctuary.
Having just come off a Princess cruise with my nephew and nieces, I can say that Princess has wonderful kids clubs. Your kids would hopefully enjoy it and get lots of out their time there - also giving you a little R&R time for yourself along the way. 34 days is very long though, and you’ll find this itinerary probably has lots of sea days. So keep that in mind if that’s a concern. But I would suggest speaking to a travel agent (we can help if you’re in Australia) and they’ll be able to guide you with what’s best for your family and circumstances.

Thanks Ray! Agree completely - she is in fantastic condition. I hope you get to sail on her eventually, she's a compact but lovely ship.
Cruising solo for my 60th next February and looking forward to being on this ship! Looks like an absolute treat.
Fantastic, what a way to celebrate!
That was a good video of Coral Princess and she looks beautiful too
Thanks Wendy 😄
Thanks so much for the very thorough tour. We’re doing a B2B on her starting December 1. So excited!
Awesome! Enjoy your cruise(s)!

Ah, the Wheelhouse. I probably spent too much time there but I'll admit, it's a great lounge area. It had great music, great staff, etc.
Haha I think I would have spent a lot more time there if I was onboard for longer. It's a fantastic spot.

Gorgeous looking ship. Will you be covering the Pacific Adventure when she hits Sydney next month?
Thanks for watching! Yep, I'll be onboard next month, so will be bringing some Adventure content to the channel as soon as possible.
Cruise virgin here but seriously excited to try my first mini-cruise in December. If I become addicted, I blame you! haha

November 27th 2022 im going on this beaut!
🥳 she’s beautiful - have a fantastic time
So the cigar lounge is closed in Australia, that just sucks so I assume no cigar smoking.
Australia outlawed indoor smoking many years ago, and that applies to cruise ships that sail locally. Smoking is allowed outdoors in designated areas.
The buffet area looks to be pretty limited compared to other ships we've been on.
It’s quite compact from memory, but then again the ship is rather small compared to some of the newer ships in the Princess fleet

Hi, Can you tell me if the Sanctuary Pool is available for everyone to use, or do you have to pay? I am booked on wc 2024. Thanks
Hi Kim. From what I've read, the pool is for use of Sanctuary guests only but I don't have any first hand experience.
Is the Sanctuary Pool available to everyone or only these that have paid to use The Sanctuary?
I’m fairly sure anyone can access the pool, but there’s no where to lounge or set yourself up nearby, because all of the loungers etc belong to the Sanctuary.

Hi Pia. Yes, all Princess ships have laundries onboard for self-service use.

do u have halal food on board?
You can usually make requests for any dietary requirements when you book your cruise and reconfirm once onboard. They’re very accommodating.
$40 for the steakhouse last week.
Ahh yep, I think I quoted the US pricing from the website. Thanks for raising that.

Ship tour, not dining review 🤭
The disappointing thing on this ship NO AFT Bar
Agreed. I think the Coral Princess lacks some outdoor space. I missed being able to enjoy a wake-view space.
Looks very dated.
She’s dated compared to the newer class of ships, but offers a more classic cruise experience.
Rip environment
Oh.
