A huge part of Hyderabad’s dining culture is of course, snacking on popular bakes at some of the city’s most popular bakeries. This tradition of savouring biscuits with Irani Chai or even presenting biscuits as gifts when visiting someone’s home was what brought us to Subhan Bakery located at Old City, Hyderabad to taste some of their very special offerings in this episode of Gourmet On The Road.
Food Lovers’ Editor, Kripal Amanna, meets with Mr Syed Imran, the owner of Subhan Bakery to taste a Muharram delicacy, the Dum Ke Roat made especially during the holy month of Muharram. He also tastes the Hyderabadi essential, Osmania Biscuits, and a cardamom flavoured Chand or Moon Biscuit.

This Muharram i tried subhan bakery dum ke roat .They are really very crunchy from outside and soft and delicious from inside .Made up of desi ghee and rich with dry fruits.

I live very close to Subhan bakery. I am a regular eater of their biscuits. taste of any item is awesome and never changes. They are very popular across the city and our relatives demand these biscuits as and when we visit our native place. Kripal sir..... You did right by visiting this place.
