The only 'alert' I know of was when his daughter got online to refute claims that Jamie was on his deathbed, in a coma and a funeral was being planned. The two have a new show coming out so it would be ill advised to let false rumors continue to swirl because then the producers start to get nervous and deals get cancelled. The news of him being in rehab in Chicago came from TMZ not his family.
And here is the 12th narrative about Jamie Foxx 's health. I'm glad he's okay, but he was NOT out of the hospital "weeks ago", and he damn sure wasn't out nowhere playing pickleball! I understand the family keeping things private, but if you're gonna give an update, don't play on people's intelligence. Not when we all have access to Google & common sense!

@@TopBillinSports When we say Google, we are talking about the c.theories about Jamie's situation. Sometimes what goes around is true. If they can't tell us, there is a way for all of us to find out. Glad he is alive, but the media is not really giving us anything "new" it's the same recycled information.
As a former nurse; a stroke , depending on the severity will leave it’s victim in various states of immobility, ie can be paralyzed, can have inability to speak. That may be why they are covering up, and why he’s at a rehab center. The other famous person who came back after a stroke, was Patricia Neal. However, many are seriously impaired for life.
He’s still trying to reclaim territory.

Agreed. My mother had one and never fully recovered. However, there are many people who can completely regain full range of mobility of their limbs, as well as no speech impediment nor facial paralysis.
With his musical skills and ability to imitate so many famous people and singers, a stroke (if that's what it has been) could be devastating to his career. Fortunately, he's got enough going for him in the areas of producing that he can still continue down that road

Just because he’s in a rehab doesn’t mean he’s in good shape. I’m a nurse and patients that are hospitalized as long as he was are very sick, period. Acute rehab is from acute illness.

The fact that his daughter is erratically posting messages that are blatant misrepresentations lets you know how bad it is. Comparatively, Jamie Renner ran himself over with a snowblower and Jay Leno burned his face off. Yet they were releasing pictures, video, and being upfront about it. They are now fine. The Jamie Foxx thing is way peculiar at this point. Now we are being told he has been in rehab since end of April, but Corrine Foxx said he was home at end of April, playing pickleball. Too many contradictions for anything to be believed before video proof imo.
She didn’t say he was home, just that he was playing pickleball. That could have been at the rehab facility.

Unfortunately, every year 795, 000 people in the US have a stroke. Black people are 50% more likely to have a stroke than whites. It is not a rare "medical event" but they(family) chose to hide that Jamie had a stroke.

As a nurse I can assure you anyone admitted to a rehab facility has a debilitating condition. Not sure why the secrecy. Whatever Jaimie has experienced I wish him a full recover back to health.

They probably aren’t saying because the next question people will ask is why did he have a stroke? Did he have high cholesterol? Did he have high blood pressure? Is he diabetic? Was he doing drugs? Did he take a Covid shot that caused him to throw a clot? Nobody really wants the answers to the questions so they are not being asked.

If the family wanted to keep it quiet and 'private', then the daughter should NOT have come out on social media announcing something was wrong with his health and ask for prayers. How remarkable that someone who have tended to him while hospitalized hasn’t spilled the beans- - yet! Incredible. And YET, my spouse didn’t reveal what health issues he was dealing with even though his family saw a decline and tried an intervention trying to get him to see a doctor. He passed out one day, was hospitalized, finally a cardiologist explained his condition. He was released to home hospice and died within 10 days. I guess SOME secrets CAN be protected.
