Pre big bang's only redeeming quality was that it was more social, other than that it sucked in so many ways. Reboot provides a close to pre big bang social experience so you should just try it.

Honestly i'd probably dump sellas even if it looks nice if maplestory tried to be more innovative than they can actually support by adding changed movements. Besides its arcane river and the reason for normal movement is because this isn't really water, but just concentrated erda. If i recall correctly from morass. Edit: the only good underwater movement change I can think of is a low gravity/moon affect, but this is dense ass erda we're talking about.

@@MapleKemon the guitar chords/sounds are most likely owned by another person and that person sued nexon for using it so thats why they changed. i might be wrong but thats most likely the case for why it sound so different (removed guitar sounds entirely)

The story of Sellas is very out of place in the context of the battle against the black mage, but the area itself and the BGMs are awesome.
tbh i found all arcane river music so good that i'm putting it as a backgroud music for my D&D game. and this one is so good!
솔직히 말해서 메이플이 던파보다 해외에 인기있는 이유는 바로 아기자기한 브금과 애니 스토리덕에 지금도 해외유저들이 아직도 있지않나싶음
반면 던파는 그거 현질유도 안하면 진행할수 없기에 결국 해외에서는 별로 관심이 없는것 같음

there's this map mechanic for Sellas where there's these "portals" that transports you in a diagonal across the map
you can attack while being moved
So this is the most dangerous ocean in maplestory.... kinda relaxing huh?
