People who defend pricey wedding rings are gaslighting themselves so bad.
Ya fr. My gf said I could propose to her with a ring pop if its pretty, its not about the price better how it looks 😅
actual bootlickers

To that one chatter- Lab diamonds are NOT a scam. They’re literally saving lives- the majority of diamond mines are powered by enslaved and extremely mistreated workers including children (these diamonds are called conflict diamonds). Promoting lab diamonds will take money away from these mines AND they make diamonds more affordable. Lab diamonds are a w imo
Same thing as blood diamonds, right?
the entire wedding industry is one huge scam. diamonds are pretty worthless, agreed. but the entire practice in general should just straight up be skipped -- all that money and stress can just be used on a HOUSE. my GOD.
Gold is a finite element. Diamonds are just well-arranged carbon, which we can create as we want.
We could make gold; but it'd be not worth it
felt this so hard, my engagenent ring was a super expensive family heirloom and every time i misplaced it i had a heart attack. For the wedding rings i insisted we just do silicone rings cause i don't give a fuck. My mom had a similar experience too, she originally got a super expensive ring from my dad, but it gave her so much anxiety to try to keep track of it that she insisted he take it back
I recently got engaged and bought a very pricey ring. I personally do not see the need for rings at all, my partner, however has always dreamed about a beautiful ring.
Although the wedding ring was expensive, it was a gesture expressing that I will always do my best in our future as partners to make all her dreams come true.
My only advise is to not overthink things when it comes to weddings. At the end of the day it should be a celebration of two individuals coming together as a team to journey through life. Anything else is just additional.
Lab grown dimonds are also not mined by exploited children forced into the mines
This might be a conspiracy theory but Blizzard payed RUclips for this to not be on recommended videos
I thought this was going to be about the Diamond rank when I saw the title haha
The second pair of rings are for everyday-use, usually made of more comfortable materials. I wouldn't want to do any kind of manual labor or even just wash the dishes with a-3-months-salary-worth wedding ring, let alone risk losing it or getting it stolen. As for the custom of wearing wedding rings in public daily, that's a matter personal taste.
Personally I'd take all the money for rings, wedding and shit and just go on a bomb world travel tour instead 😂
ouu im a photographer and a videographer...which camera do you have? not gonna lie, if you keep the camera from dings and drops...they are pretty durable. take it out. take some pictures. youtube is always there to teach you how to edit

The account bans are here!! A lot of people (including me) were banned for the whole season 10 for no reason at all. It's been almost a day since this bug happened and nobody reports on it.
I like dislike diamond rings but i find unique emerald or ruby rings that are just amazing pieces of art.
If the ring looks nice, it's good enough for most women as long as they're not only with you for the money.
Besides being a RARE EARTH MINERAL, Gold has actual uses too. Diamond has a lot of use industrially, but the price points of a "high grade diamond" are insane for how common diamonds really are. Diamonds are indeed a scam.
yeah me and my wife skipped the engagement ring and both our rings are just silver bands made my a local jewellery artist, they mean more than what they're worth at the end of the day. i couldn't imagine being expected to spend my life savings on a diamond ring. sorry to the guys and girls who do.
Thank God I live in Thailand. Propose with a silver ring, wedding gift was 10k usd, 2kg gold, and lab diamond ring that cost like 3k a pair for wearing to big event, and use that 10k for honeymoon and start marriage life.
Gold has more uses then diamonds currently given that gold cannot be reproduced and that it is needed for some uses in technology and electronics
I run a pawnshop, we sell a 50carat diamond ring for around 1,500 usd while the person spent probably 8,000usd on it. Diamonds are the biggest scam out there as they aren't worth what diamond companies sell them for.
A pawn shop and a porn shop?
1:16 roll auts 😂👍
Diamonds are expensive because only a few companies own all of them so they have a monopoly which allows these companies to not sell the diamonds therefore preventing them from losing value
The diamonds are still mined. BUT they just dont release it into the market so they can inflate diamond prices.
diamonds are a scam cause only 2 companies in the world own all of them, they are not rare at all, and the only thing that makes them expensive is this companies just slowly putting diamonds on the market
Diamonds rarely re-sell for a decent price too. Whenever I see someone brag about some diamond whatever object I roll my eyes because they're lying about the actual value. Sure you PAID that much but re-selling it will never be even close to what you bought it for. It instantly lost value the second you bought it. They just have a high markup.
Hanzo gameplay became so plain that arrge's videos turn into podcasts
Also, yeah, diamond industry sucks
Diamonds are very easy to be made. In the industry i mean. they are very good to cut stuff. The diamonds created in the industry are marked to not affect the value market of those diamons in circulation
I got a 20 dollar engagement ring with pastel pink "diamonds" (it was glass obviously) and it was shaped like a paw.
Never loved a ring more in my life, and it didn't break anyone's bank either.
Showing you love your bride doesn't have to ruin your finances. Find a pretty ring that fits her aesthetic and you've already shown her you listen and take notes of what she likes.
If a woman whines about your choice of ring because it didn't cost more than her narcissistic ass expected, is she really worth keeping? You don't see women buying men engagement rings, so...
Conclusion. Dont marry
well we dont have weeding ring stuff but we need yo give the girl at least( AT LEAST) 15k we call it ( mhr) that she dose whatever she want with it in saudi and around 5k to the mother and if the grandmother is still alive maybe another 5k to her then the weeding cost at least 23k and up and many more but we have something kinda helpful is everyone comes to the weeding brings money with him to give to the guy as a helping hand so sometimes you come up net positive or at least even depending on the guy and his family and tribe like my cousin weeding cost more then 1million( ik because i helped planning it )but by the end of the weeding he had like around 2m in cash and some cars and some sowrds of pure gold so yeah it depends on the tribe if they give back
Thank god in my country people dont give a shit about diamond rings, people only expect a silver ring dating and a golden one when married
I mean.. The ring depends on the person who is buying it.. It makes sense to me to buy a ring that is 1-2 month salary.. If someone makes 15K per month, then 30K ring is not that crazy, even though for most people it is :D
more than 90 percent of gold is located around the earth's core. if I'm not mistaken =)
Yeah, we see all of those stories each and every week from wives who just lose their ring. This is some weird copium to justify not getting the woman you love a token of that love.
Thanks man. I drained my bank account for a ring for my EX fiance. Now i have a ring that is very hard to sell because the resale market of wedding rings is pretty trash. Meanwhile, she was gonna get me a $100 ring but insisted she needed one worth thousands. Bullshit man. Find a woman that loves you and not the material things you can buy them
Bro thinks hes exposing something that everyone already knows
Tbh I don’t really find it to be that worth it especially with divorce rates it’s crazy
Arrge ur cute af when u saying fucking fuck at 7:41
Why even buy any rings at all, such a waste of money and resources
I used my tax return to get my wife her engagement ring, i was lucky to find a beautiful ring for a good price and it felt like it didnt cost me anything out of pocket
Keep on simpin.
@@zoomingby yeah I simp for my wife, sorry you're lonely
@@DavidReyes0224 I'm sure you do. I'm sure you do. I on the other hand told my wife that I wouldn't put a useless rock on her finger for thousands of dollars, and if she didn't like it, I'd find a woman to marry that was ok with it. Guess what, we got married. So no, there's another option between being a good little simp and being lonely.
Was this for us or your s.o.?
Let's put this blame where it belongs, on the women demanding this nonsense, and who basically say, if you don't such and such, we're not getting married. Or if not that direct, they'll guilt you into the purchase by way saying that you don't love them or care for them enough to spend more. None of it's based on logic, but on shitty rules handed down to them from women who did the same thing to their husbands. The whole mess is the difference between being guided by reason vs being blindly dragged around by emotion.
????? fucking What. no??? how is it every single woman's fault that the diamond industry is bad. do you hear yourself?
@@magyxsghost Idiot, who do you think are the ones literally forcing hugely expensive engagement rings on their fiancees: women or the diamond industry? Because as I remember it the diamond industry didn't tell me shit about the cost of the ring: it was my fiancee. Funny how that works, I can't blame the auto industry for running out and buying a BMW and tell my wife "the auto industry made me do it." Do you hear YOURSELF?
It's a propaganda and a scam. Trying to make men believe they don't love their wife if they don't get one and the women the same thinking they aren't actually loved if they don't receive one.

you buy it because women demand it
The irony...they supposedly love you enough to marry you (love is supposed to be unconditional), but they won't marry you unless you give them an expensive gift.
