YO!! hope you guys enjoy this!! this content is not monetized as Penn and teller clips are copy righted like all the time hahahaha but i wanted to share these with you any way!!!!
Thank you
that great work mr maher❤
SENSEI.Maher ❤ FROM NEPAL
Thank you Jason for sharing your love of magic!
Stoked to see the daily travel vlog/magic content coming back. Don’t burn yourself out but the regular stuff, I’m all about it bro! Have fun out there!
For the large ball at 9:00 I had to set the VIDEO SPEED at 0.25X and watched that the ball was palmed from his lap, but then watching at 1X, even now knowing the trick, his dexterity was sooooooo good that it was MAGIC again! He's GOOD! Well done!!!!!
I’m always less amazed at how slick they are when they do this trick, and more amazed at how fast they are. Watching the trick, especially because penn and teller expose it, you know where the balls are coming from, but they do it so fast, that you are still tricked.
That last metal ball from Paul, he was so fast bringing it up from under the table while he was moving the cup that it was incredibly hard to see.
I feel the same sense of amazement when watching videos of workers doing their job with precision at high rates of speed, or athletes doing amazing tricks.
Knowing how the trick is done doesn’t ruin anything for me because of the speed and accuracy a magician has while performing the trick.
Dude Paul Gertner doing this trick his way is STILL incredible. Like, everything I watch, it somehow becomes more unbelievable. These three are so freakin talented.
hashtag #icameheretosaythis - yeah, Gertner's routine with the steel balls on Fool Us is just phenomenal in concept and delivery.
Mr. Maher - thank you for putting this together - one of my favorite illusions!
Love the old classics …. They never grow old. Great video!
I’ve been watching you for awhile and seen some videos specifically on this trick. It’s almost like Magician 101. Like what you said. I get mesmerized watching people do this even WITH clear cups. Just watching their hands dance and the slickness. Not just the sleight of hand but all subtle things like what the other hand is doing or engaging them with some conversation to distract. Just really cool stuff.
I remember watching Paul Daniels doing this. It wasn’t just the slickness of the moves but the machine gun patter. A skill crafted in the working men’s clubs of northern England.
Cups and balls are definitely the greatest trick ever.
Paul Gertner’s cup and balls is my favorite by far. Dudes a legend.
Love me some cups and balls. I think watching Penn & Teller do the cups and balls with clear cups when I was a kid really made me look at magic in a different way. Seeing that a trick like the cups and balls really was just cups, balls, and a whole lotta skill helped bring magic back to earth and made me far more interested in it.
Cheers!
So, the sound component can be achieved both inside AND OUTSIDE the cup. That's what sells it and makes it more versatile than just the negative it appears on the surface, in terms of actually being able to pull off the trick.
Jason Latimers clear cups and balls routine is still my favourite. So dang smooth slight of hand in it
"If any wind came through I would've died. Immediately." 😂
This was Definitely a lot of fun to watch.
Thank you Jason
Blessings, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸
Great to see Paul's variation with sound - but I was most impressed with your routine Jason. Keep the content coming, you are awesome!
The trick is good, but the magician is what is truly impressive.
Thanks Jason, love the videos :)
This is the sign of a true magician, if they can perform this trick flawlessly.
The first video of Jason’s I saw was his regular cups and balls routine followed by his clear plastic routine. Proud to be part of that 1.7M. I was blown away. Penn and Teller’s was great too but in my opinion Paul’s routine is hands down the best. The timing and technique needed to mask those sounds is one another level! Next level I guess would be clear metal cups with ball bearings?
4:54 I remember watching Paul Gertner on Johnny Carson when I was a kid. I thought that voice sounded familiar and I looked up the clip where he was on Carson and it’s the same guy.
Awesome I would love you to do a reaction video on Yann Frisch cups and balls it is one of my favorite renditions. Thanks !!
i really enjoyed your childlike focus on watching his trick. God bless
Also Paul Genther when he appeared in Penn and Teller fool us motivated me to learn how to do this trick. I showed it to my niece and she was impressed.
I love your videos
It's nice having my mind blown numerous times in a single sitting 💜
Excited to do a little world tour with you! Fun videos as always!
The placement of the baseball looks like literal magic. I know it's just slight of hand, but suddenly it's *there*.
Dunno, never found P&T's magic all that impressive. It's their story telling that makes them who they are.
Love ur voice and personality.. don't change and keep it going baby!!!!
Hahaha mission accomplished.❤ when is reacting us coming .
Paul had one of the best lectures I’ve been to
How did I miss this, all great performances
One of my favorite tricks. It makes no difference that i know how it's done. It still surprises me when the balls just appear.
Thanks Jason, you're amazing!
Woo I love your vids Jason so much. I get so excited when I see the little notification pop up!😊
Oh man that's awesome thanks for watching!!
Jason you're the dopest! I hope you'll stop by San Diego along your tour!
The cup and balls trick was the first vid I saw of yours. It's why I subscribed.
Your videos make my problems disappear.
It also makes my free time disappear, but idk it's worth it.
I love Penn & Teller version of the cups and balls
Good luck on your journey!! Sky is the limit my friend. Have fun, cheers!!
When are you going to Japan and where are you going? I'm headed for Tokyo Kyoto and Osaka next month! It'd be wild to see you do some street magic there, and I'd totally hunt you down if we're there at the same time.
What an awesome video: P&T, Paul G. and your good self? Magical heaven! Cheers, bro! 🍻🤘💜
Come to Buffalo, NY! I'll come watch your show!
Your videos inspired me to learn magic dude! Keep up the good work! 😊
Happy to hear that!
I was on stage with Penn & Teller in Las Vegas. I inspected the gun and bullet that Penn "shot" into Tellers mouth. I got to keep the bullet and case.
The camera angle on Paul Gertner's magic would be great for an extra pair of hands appear at the end of the routine to "explain" how it is done and the four hands do multiple handshakes.
What date will you be in Edinburgh? I live just outside Edinburgh and I'd love to come and see you perform in person.
This is one of those tricks that no matter how much you’re aware of the misdirection, it still fools you. You don’t have time to be stunned when they’re not finished with the trick yet.
Your vids are just getting way way betterer… see you in Edin..
:Maybe not France.." haha !!
i fooled some people with the smiling mule today! thank you so much! ❤
edit: if you're looking for a place to do street magic, come to Utrecht in the netherlands! its a beautiful city hehehehe
Great video...can't wait to see more😊😊
I'm from London but I will fly to Edinburgh to watch you live 100%
paul gertner always have smooth handling, cards, cups and balls, this guy is the man!!
My favorite version of that is when he has the big load of spongy ones under one cup
Something primal about how fun it is to make things appear and disappear under the cups.
Yo buddy, what dates are you in the UK? Are you doing specific shows or street performing? Would be cool to see your show in person 🥳
Street shows mostly!!! I'll be there from the 27th!
@@streetmagiciandude Wowser ..... Where are you going to be in UK London or where? .. . I want to be there.
Paul is very very good. Great upload 👍😊👍🤟🪄🌟.
I'm assuming you'll be in Edinburgh for the Festival soon? Don't suppose you know of any rough dates because I'd love to come along!
Congratulations on 500k subs dude. You deserved them. 🥳
Al Schneider has a really unique and awesome cups and balls routine
I didnt think id enjoy watching a magician watch magicians but this is content
I loved the clear cup and balls was even better because if the slide of hand is on you still get your audience
Hell yeah!. Cups and balls are the best!
Love your content.
I'm in Manchester UK and you are in Edinburgh ? The sooner you can announce the dates, let me know mate
Definitely worth a like & a share, baby!!!❤😂
I love Yann Frisch's version of cups and balls if by any chance you never saw it, it's quite unique.
That's exactly what I thought when I was watching this. It's unique. What Yann Frisch does is very entertaining, incredibly skillful, and slick, and he never says a word. I put up there with the best magic I have ever seen. I really think it's astonishing.

Make this a series!
Cups and Balls & Linking Rings are the two routines you could get a whole career from. Simply amazing each and every time. I remember you got some heat from your clear cup video lol.
lol my clear cup vid was awesome haha i didnt even notice magicians had a problem with it
I've seen Paul Gertner on Penn & Teller.
He is a Super Magician.
He fooled P&T twice. I have to be honest...he fooled me every time. 🙂
This was sick man
Can you do magic with rubik's cube? Btw please go To France !!! I love your vids, 😘
Come to the Texas Renaissance Festival. Stay for the party.
Sounds fun!
Paul Gertner is boss level cups and balls on god mode.
Al Lou min e um balls. Im in Florida and that caught me off guard had to think a minute like wtf is that?😂
all great but did you see jason Latimer that does clear cups and sponge balls that has very fast slight of hand and misdirection
Cup and balls has always been my favorite
Dude! Why not in France? Please come to the south. It's great.
For those wondering Maccas is Australian slang for McDonalds. Keep the vids coming buddy!
Hi Ya Jason mate, ive been away for a while ...... Back with a smile 😊
Hey welcome back!!! I've been away too hahaha
I'm glad that I saw your version first, I still think your version is better than both of these.
This guy is hypnotic 😂
puedo entender como se hace pero no puedo hacer. es la mejor actuaction que he visto
Hey, are you planning on going to edinburgh fringe next month?
I know banana man and shin gold (goldie) will be there and it would be great to meet you as im also a busker
I used D20s used for playing Dungeons and Dragons
a well done illusion will always make me clap
Brilliant
Come to morroco u ll love it
i miss those early seasons of fool us where P&T performed a trick at the end. i guess they ran out of tricks
When are you in Edinburgh fella will lookout for you and buy you a pint
I think the Cups & Balls have had too much exposure in recent memory for my liking. So many folks are on to the game now. So if you do choose to perform it, make sure your set includes a Chop cup. It'll devastate even the most eagle-eyed heckler.
Yo Jason when are you going to get an invite onto Penn and Teller?
Never because the tricks I do are ones I learned from other magicians.
Are you doing Edinburgh fringe mate?
WOW!!!
I feel like Paul was making an AC/DC joke somewhere...
Epic! 👍😎
With the last guy, the bell took me out of it. I know it sells it for most people, but it was distracting for me, especially when he didn’t use it. 🤷🏼♀️
Would love to see the metal cups and balls played on a blind person. The sound cues are different. I wonder if they could track what is going on.
I was keeping REALLY good track of that metal ball one until he brought out the bigger ones
Wasn't Paul Gertner on World's Greatest Magic?
YYYAASS plssss go too Lyme Regis
Come to Morocco 😂😂
