As a person who works in a school with the population of kids that are wheelchair bound, I don’t just blame the aide. I blame the company as well, for not training their staff to deal with students with medical issues. If these students don’t have nurses or paraprofessional in the bus, they don’t get the attention needed on the bus ride typically. They are just treated like typical children on the school bus. She should have just sat next to her just for ease of access 🤦🏾♂️.
Right usually special needs children have a nurse accompanying them
Her lack of guilt and grief is very telling.
Prayers to the lil girl soul
She needs to be in jail. The bus driver is responsible for harnessing the child in the seat. She shouldn’t be on her phone when a child is in her bus. Period. I know several bus drivers who worked in this same capacity. This is appalling and tragic. She also needs to be banned from working with children.
If she was next to the child or at least turned around to check on her, she may still be alive. I don’t think she should get 20 years, but she definitely should do some time and never be able to work with kids again🤷🏾♀️
The more I see and hear of these tragedies, the more I'm convinced that the best care a child can ever receive are with their loved ones, hardly every from some strangers that are just doing a "job".
So sorry for your loss but that lady should be sitting in prison for life❤❤❤❤❤✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️
That’s BS
Blaming the mother for her not being buckled in the stroller properly? Lady, the whole reason you are there is for the safe transportation of the disabled child. YOU are supposed to double-check that she is good to go. You should have sat next to her, watching her, you are supposed to watch her that is why you are there on the bus! Standing there over the dead child flipping her hair. Twisting side to side with a smirk on her face while the judge is talking gross.
Im so sorry for her.... The mother, especially her daughter.
She could of been sitted closer to the child, like wtf why was she so far away
Listen, even if I felt like I didn’t cause this, if this was me I would be torn apart by grief that a poor innocent helpless child died while in my care. While I was responsible. While I was sitting feet away! She hasn’t even cried for the child. She hasn’t even apologized profusely that a child is DEAD! She hasn’t even shown the least bit of humility. She’s almost disgustingly indignant. Shame, shame, shame!!!
It’s unfortunate but the jury’s results were fair.
Speechless
Unbelievable !! So so sad for the little girl. 🙏❤
What's the point of her being there? An "aide" right🙄
The mother needed someone with her for emotional support. She appeared to be alone in court and when she spoke to media. Very sad situation. Condolences to the mother.
How is that not negligent? Her job was to watch the young lady in the wheelchair.
So the parent(s) is responsible for the harness and securing the child or manslaughter charges would have stuck? That is some technicality. Condolences (again) to the Nash & Williams Families.
“She’s upset? What a moron! She’s in grief and disgust🥹🫂. It wasn’t done purposely but she should have been watched and no phones ever allowed unless it was an important call. Rest in peace beautiful angel 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🫂🥹🌹
You definitely should be atleast looking back at the child, but come on she's a child. How do you not pay attention to a child sitting alone?
She successfully convinced the court the Parents were at fault-- wow.🤬
They strapped her in wrong, so yes, they were partially at fault.
Poor baby smh if you don’t have compassion for people why would you do that type of work.
God please be with this family. Thats beyond horrible!
That was negligence she should’ve checked on the little girl.
She’s supposed to watch the child. Not her phone.
May she rest peacefully 💔🕊
The b was guilty she killed a child period
She should got life behind bars cause she so neglectful . Worse teacher aide ever . 😢
Unbelievable, id be waiting at that court door for her to come out, not guilty,.... Yeah right
She should have been charged the was suppose to keep an eye on the child not her freaking cellphone
Every black person should understand that their life has NO value in the American courtroom! How can you be guilty of endangerment and not the crime the endangerment led to? For the answer, read the first sentence!
Are u new? U must have never heard of kia boyz who make a mockery out if the Baltimore justice system.
@@jonnyfendi2003tgey just talk when it don’t favor them smh look at Chicago they killed each other but they don’t talk about that 😮 rip to that baby girl❤
That is absolute nonsense and you know it.
Should have been sitting next to her and no one should be aloud the private use of there cell phones on duty….. Pure neglect of that little girl especially the fact she is an aide for people with disabilities! Shame on you 😢
I can't believe some of these jurors today!! HOW AWFUL. SHE SHOUL D BE JAILED FOREVER!
I feel this is fair because yes she made a mistake but at the same time it wasnt murder and nobody knows if the harness wasnt done right before child came on bus and yes endangering welfare of child is legit because she ignored kid but i am sure Judge will give her the max for that charge alone
Why would you have a disabled kid out of your site, and not once turn to see if they are ok? She didn’t care about her.
She is definitely responsible for little sister's death. She was too busy, swiping right. Rest in paradise little sis. 🙏
It’s despicable that she and her lawyer are trying to blame the family for not properly securing the harness. As the bus aide, that is something she should have checked before the bus started moving.
My condolences to Fajr’s family. The way she flipped her hair as if the child’s life was meaningless. She had to have heard that baby struggle.
You honestly think she heard the baby struggle and didn’t do anything about it???? 🤦🏾♀️
Is this also liability for the manufacturera who devised the harness?
So someone in her care died because she wasn’t watching her and gets not guilty but a homeless druggie get years in jail for drugs. That’s not right!
SMH!!!! Regardless! If she would’ve been paying attention, whoever’s mistake she would’ve caught it. I hope she gets every bit of those 10 years
We already know had the races been reversed
10 years is nothing she should have gotten something way stronger to not pay attention to that girl. god knows how many times this happened
This is so maddening, that's not even a good word, disgusting is more like it.. as an aid myself with special needs kids, this is devastating to hear, she should have been found guilty on all accounts. If it were me, it never would be because my kids mean the world to me and I would never let this happen, but if it were me and one of my kids died on my watch, I'd never be able to live with myself, I'd be begging for punishment. I feel so terribly for the mom, there are no words for how horrible this is
Clearly they didn't watch the video if they seriously found her not guilty for manslaughter. That was THE most manslaughter act I have ever witnessed.
Her looking out the window after taking the little girl on the bus to make sure whoever sent the little girl on the bus IN HER CARE, couldn't see her before she sat 3 seats ahead of her, she didn't care about that poor child! She should've been found guilty of negligent homicide!
Wow these courts are a joke!
