I am trying to make my own style but when I try to record a hall Measure kord it cut off before it’s finish. How can I fix that? I appreciate your answer in advance.
Hi Yamaha, Does this one has multi midi recording feature like one on the Sx700/SX900? Also can the USB connection is enough for both midi and audio recording into DAW simultaneously?
On my PSR-SX-600, I would like to change the default 4/4-beat of the Arpeggio-guitar-fingered to 3/4-beat. When I set a 3/4-style (e.g. Waltz), the Arpeggio-guitar-fingered still plays in 4/4-beat. Is it possible to change it? If yes, let me know how, please.
Everything except 5 pin MIDI connections. I own $20K in vintage synths(many of them Yamaha), and the Yamaha PSR-SX600 won't communicate with any of them. The SX600 sounds great, but I'll never buy it if I can't integrate it with my other hardware. At least make and adaptor/break out box from USB to 5 pin MIDI. Otherwise, you're cutting off many of your customers, who have the cash to buy more keyboards. My first keyboard, back in the 80's, was a Casio, and yes, even that had midi in out and thru connections. I still use it to this day. I bought a USB only synth a year ago. I got so frustrated with it that I sold it after a single month. A lot of older players are getting pissed off, so quit alienating large portions of your customer base. If I buy a synth, I shouldn't have to have the latest and greatest computer just to operate it. I still use a Yamaha QX3 sequencer. Over 30 years of solid performance, and you're flushing your legacy down the toilet. Great job Yamaha!!!!!
So Nice!!! I have a question. I know that the sx600 has an audio interface function that transmits audio and MIDI through USB, unlike the sx900,700. Is it possible to directly transfer the audio input from the microphone to the computer USB?
@@YamahaMusicAu Thanks a lot. Any USB to MIDI cable is ok or something specific is needed? This SX600 sounds as good as latest Electone Stagea organs. I want to purchase and connect via MIDI to my old Electone HS-8.
@@YamahaMusicAu So I am looking for one of these instruments to help make tracks that I can use but I am a vocalist who can only plunk out notes and I don't expect to become a real pianist anytime soon. Is there a keyboard that is best for this
Porque cuando yamaha hace este tipo de videos no recurre a un tecladista que toque musica actualizada o mas moderna, parece musica para iglesia Evangelica...
Fruity Loops is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) not a VST. VST is an instrument plugin which is stored in you computer. You need a keyboard that supports midi to control the sound of the plugin inside the computer.
I'm sorry to sound so critical, but as technologically advanced as this may be, surely any keyboard with so many automatic accompaniments is merely a rather expensive toy, and something only for personal enjoyment? I've never heard of any pro or semi-pro musicians using any keyboard that plays it's own pre-made accompaniments as backing.

You should remove that old drum kits, like that power kit and add new ones, sounds same horrible as in s650, i know it isnt a high end keyboard but isnt cheap.
RealDrumKit is already present in SX600. I think it's upto styles, for ex, some styles do use RealDrumKit whereas some use the v older power/acoustic/roomkit etc. But yea they should've upgraded all styles to use the "newer" RealDrumkit since there's already next-gen drums called the Revo! almost 3 years into production.
I disagree with you on that one! I personaly like all the legacy sounds in addition to the few new sounds that this keyboard has to offer. I have those same sort of drum kits within Halion/Halion Sonic but one day I'm hoping to go hardware and buy an arranger. They are not the sort of drum kits I would want to overuse but they are still usable.
Yeah. Better price to sound ratio. SX700 and SX600 are almost the the same sounds but SX700 is more expensive (1499$) but too many contents are missing in the Genos or even the old Tyros 5. Really shameful. Yamaha should given free additional sounds for SX700 because it is downgraded like crazy.
It's the lowest model in the PSR-SX range. For an inexpensive arranger this is still a decent sounding keyboard. The SX700 and SX900 are of course better and also more powerful because they have more sounds. I would only buy an SX600 if I can't afford to spend over £1000 on an arranger keyboard.
Dear yamaha I have decided to contact you directly because I am a yamaha player. I have sx600 and it has a sound issue where by the keyboard makes continuous arpeggio sound when you press a key . I have sort help from the yamaha dealer we bought it from but the keyboard still has the same issue. Yes. Very nice. Except for one thing; there appears to be no chord recognition, nor chord display on the screen.

I'm wondering what keyboard is used for the giggle wiggle theme song?
Nice ,could i use it in party, please advise
Considering this keyboard is under £1000 it is a pretty damn good instrument but you can't really complain.

to a computer is via a USB lead.
