oh That little boy in the background, during Clair de lune, who is also waving his arms and mimicking playing the piano is just so darling and also there’s a little girl doing the same so so cute!!!
This guy has great hands. You see jazz players with those spider fingers. It’s really funny to,hear Lang Lang, of all people, say “this is too much.” The thing with Clair de Lune is that there’s some subtle changes in meter, dividing the beat between duple and triple, that gets lost when you play it with this much rhythmic freedom. You lose the sense of pulse. The piece is called Moonlight, and moonlight has a constant glow, even if the occasional cloud obscures it once in a while. His rendition, with the accelerating arpeggios, would better be titled “It was a dark and stormy night.” But he’s pretty good. He’s got his own perspective of this piece. It just diverges drastically from the standard approach.
pourriez vous mettre les sous titres s'il vous plait ? je ne comprends pas l'anglais et c'est dommage de ne pas comprendrece que disent Mika et Langlang , merci
Damn those commentators REALLY ruin the series. Their constant inane, frequently irrelevant drivel interspersing the performances is like fingers on a blackboard.
Just think, in the slave states in the south back through the 1800s, black people wasn’t allowed to even read! What great things might have been accomplished if otherwise.
Love the little Girls in the background! She is completely engaged in the music.

Yea. Do not know when too shut up .😮
Shame that Lang lang is reduced to this
Just think, in the slave states in the south back through the 1800s, black people wasn’t allowed to even read! What great things might have been accomplished if otherwise.
Is this what Lang Lang does now? He got tired of being a piano god and is now commenting on random mortals playing?
Affligeant ! Pathétique.
You are pathetic
