Sensational Tom! Around 40 years ago, I tried to make a guitar transcription of this, but could never get it to work as I wanted it to. Certain passages were ok, but it didn’t flow, though I may revisit it - in light of your fabulous rendition here. Your version is consistently musically mellifluous, as well as being beautifully guitaristic. The instrument itself sounds fantastic. I’m all for classical material played on electric guitar, they sometimes have more to offer, soundwise, than the classical variety. I hope you can do many more in a similar vein.
I was recently arranging my own version of this after seeing Juan Oliveira cover it on insta. I wrote out a few different places to play it on the fretboard- sometimes three versions, and you used none of them! haha Very cool, great phrasing, tact/dynamics, & delivery!
woah that's insane, never thought this piece could be played on guitar!
this is some of the best playing I have ever heard. You are a maestro.
Beautiful!
Absolutely stellar. Incredibly fluid, and gorgeous tone. Very inspiring!
What an amazing performance!!!
Dang, this guy's so good he'll have a truss rod cover sponsorship in no time.

Just Beautiful Tom. I adore Debussy. Would love to get some classical lessons and tackle some of his stuff. Maybe Clair de lune.

Good stuff! Hard to imagine anyone doing this with a pick! Have you heard Bela Fleck's version?
A few people have mentioned that version. I will check it out, thanks 🙂
Sounds great as usual! Have you heard Bela Fleck do this piece on his album 'Perpetual Motion'? It's wicked. You both have great arrangements.
Stu Hamm also did a nice arrangement of it on his album Radio Free Albemuth
Gosh! This is just breath-taking. Did you arrange for guitar this yourself? :D
Yes 🙂
@@TomOllendorff It's INCREDIBLY well arranged! Also, how long has this arrangement been in the works? :O
@@JonSebastianFI first started working on the piece about 6 years ago 😂
@@TomOllendorff Gosh, I knew it! Haha, thank you for your hard work!
