    🚨 correction on the app review
    You can actually edit set points. Little dots along the bottom where time shows are able to be selected. After doing so you can drag to diff time and/or fully adjust each channel within the set point. This was user error on my end and wanted to share. While the app could use a few improvements like making those set points easier to land on or a bigger schedule window. It’s fully functional 💪🏾💯 #ThanksforWatching

    Keep an eye out for those light mounting brackets if they're at or below the water level. The salt will eventually corrode them and release whatever metals, rust, etc into the water. 2 years ago, I had a tank with corals continually dying. Sent off a ICP test and the Tin readings were off the chart. I checked and replaced everything metal...I'm talking even down to the stand door brackets.. did a 100% water change and sent another test.. and still the same results. After giving up, I looked at the one thing I never thought of....the light mounting brackets. I took 2 small rectangle shaped tupperware cups and used them to 'dry-dock' the brackets, did another 100% water change and sent off another ICP test 2 months later and like magic....0 tin or any other toxic metals. That tank is thriving today with SPS. Just a cautionary tale for everyone....

    You can individually tune each time point after you've set it. You double tap the blue dot on the time scale an it'll turn red. It's a bit of a pain in the arse but after a while you'll get the hang off it.

    Dope bro. I am using the Orphek lens's and they do the trick but sometimes can have some weird glares coming off from lights in the room so you will have to mess with what works best for you for sure. If you want to zoom in and out make sure that you do prior to recording as sometimes the zoom catches the edges of the Orphek lens frame. Those lights are crazy strong but look really nice.

    I like that crisp color shown between the 9-15 minute marks, is that all bars 100%? Is the color in the video comparable to what you see in person? I hate the overly blue look.
    And I was not expecting that shimmer from a non-point-source light! That shimmer alone is enough reason to switch the T5 over to these.

    • @CJSAQUARIUMS
      @CJSAQUARIUMS  Год назад

      With 2 reef days you can have better control over how blue or not blue the tank is by dimming blues or increasing reef day bars power. You can’t fully control the color only the power from each bar. It’s hard to show true color on camera wit gel filters. In person it looks great I have now switched to test out AI blades. I’ll do a full comparison of both lighting on my tanks

    • @CJSAQUARIUMS
      @CJSAQUARIUMS  Год назад

      Never had the compact before. There is merit to both… I’d say Bars definitely give you the spread and redundancy if one goes down you still have others to keep tank alive until replace it. Advantage of compact would be more freedom turning your color of your tank. Bars you have to select the right kinds and your basically stuck wit that look… I’m sure par won’t be a issue with ether. Good luck on your decision I’m happy with the bars
