I'll be doing an update soon! They have been working fantastic! Orphek does make a freshwater version of these which would definitely grow ANYTHING and depending on the size of the tank you probably wouldn't need 6 bars. If you go that route definitely share it! I'd love to see it!
Awesome video! Beautiful set up and tank! I am thinking of going with the Orpheks aswell, do you think the tank is overly blue with your 2x blue plus 2x reef day plus and 2x UV? In some shots the tank looks like it has a good balance of white but it’s hard to tell thanks!
Thank you! It's so hard to capture the exact look to the eye as even with a filter it throws colors off. I'd say this exact combo running all the same percentage matches the popular blue plus look. I was running the saxby schedule on ai hydras before the orpheks and that had a very white peak period. That being said, with the Osix you can adjust the reef day up or blue plus down to give you a more white look. I'll be posting updates as I go because there has already been significant color changes and growth in the month I've had these up
Thank you! For softies you could probably get away with 3 spaced out farther. Would still get you a nice blanket of light without absolutely frying them lol
What you're seeing is the Or3 light bars alone are very basic (on/off), don't have an app or ramping features and are factory set to run at 50% I believe. When you add the Osix controller to the lights it allows you to now have app control, ramping, programming, moonlight/cloud feature and total control over up to 6 Or3 bars
The blades do look to be a great new light! I had the hydras on this tank and still currently run ai's on my other tanks. What I will say however is that I have seen significant coloring and growth improvement since switching to the Orpheks. Theyre just as simple to control as Ai's if not easier to find success because the spectrums aren't controllable.
@@cloud9aquariums I like orphek but the ai blades are so much better :) closer to the water amazing equal par !! And l can’t see any light spilling into the room whatsoever
Very impressive and beautiful tank enjoy it my friend great setup.👍🏼
Thank you 🙏
Good stuff my man I just got the 2 Orphek icon! useing with the 0r3 blue plus bars!
Awesome combo move! I have no doubt your tank is GLOWING haha
Well, color me impressed. Great review 👏🏻
This is definitely the way 🙌🏼💯
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback 🙏
Awesome video I felt the same with a lot of what you said in my review. Well done 💯
I appreciate it 🙏 I'll have to check out your review! Excited to see how things pan out long term
Your future do be bright, son 💡
It's lit 💡as the kids say
Tank looks amazing already. Can’t wait to see what it will look like later on. Would these be overkill on freshwater?

Cj’s aquarium has those same lights in his build I’m sure he has a RUclips channel as well and gave em a good review as well, I might be selling XR15
Tank looks amazing.!
I do have a question tho. How many light bars do you think i need for a 75g softie tank.? (48 inch long)
Thank you! For softies you could probably get away with 3 spaced out farther. Would still get you a nice blanket of light without absolutely frying them lol
Hi what’s the dimensions of your tank? Especially the depth?
Great content!
Regards Duzzy🇦🇺
Thank you! This tank is 16inches tall , 24inches front to back, and 48 inches side to side
Everything I'm researching on this light says it is not ramping and non-programmable is this true?

That’s good par ecotech xr15 doesn’t even put out that par at 50 percent to my knowledge
So far the tank is thriving with them!
Ai blades are the future mate, so much easier in all respects

@bopeep7806 definitely curious to see how they work out long term!
